Pri kopenskih enakonožcih iz družine Trichoniscidae so prisotna kalcije- va telesca, epitelne vrečke, v katerih se kopičijo kalcijevi minerali. Predhodne raziskave so pokazale, da sta pri vrstah Titanethes albus in Hyloniscus riparius prisotna po dva para teh organov. Pri T. albus so vsakalcijeva telesca napolnjena z bakterijami, pri H. riparius pa vsebuje bakterije le posteriorni par. V tej raziskavi smo preučili ultrastrukturo kalcijevih telesc pri vrstah Androniscus roseusin Haplophthalmus mengei. Pri obeh vrstah sta prisotna po dva para kalcijevih telesc, ki vsebujejo paličaste bakterije.
