The efficacy and safety of shape-memory alloy (SMA) ring hugger and microplate in the treatment of proximal clavicle fractures were compared to better improve the quality of patient rehabilitation and minimize complications. The mechanical properties of Ni-Ti alloy and Ti64Al4V (compressive strength and elastic modulus) were examined in the physicochemical property tests, while, mouse osteoblasts were cultured to test their biocompatibility. Subsequently, clinical data of patients with clavicle fractures treated at our hospital from January 2012 to January 2022 were retrospectively analyzed. T

Recent achievements in the field of electronic skin (e-skin) have provided promising technology for service robots. However, the development of a bionic perception system that exhibits superior performance in terms of safety and interaction quality remains a challenge. Here, we demonstrate a biomimetic soft e-skin that is composed of an array of capacitors and air pouches. It is a single platform that shows dual-mode sensing capabilities of tactile sensing and proximity perception. We optimized the shape and area of the electrode via simulation of the approach of a robot to an object. Moreover

Abstract We study the generation of entangled states of two massive particles endowed with internal degrees of freedom using Franson and Hugged interferometric arrays in the presence of a weak gravitational field. Each internal degree of freedom plays the role of a clock. We consider an expansion of the gravitational field up to second order in powers of $\Delta h/R$, where $\Delta h$ is the height of the arrays and $R$ is the radius of the Earth. We study the violation of the Clauser-Horne-Shymony-Holt (CHSH) inequality, showing that the maximum value of the CHSH function, for a suitable choi
