Medicinal plants are gaining popularity over synthetic medicines because antibiotic resistance demands the alternative source of medication. In the present research, the crude protein extraction of 4 medicinal plants Cassia fistula, Saccharum officinarum, Albizia lebbeck and Cymbopogon citrates was carried out. Crude protein extraction was done by 2 different buffers i.e. Tris NaCl buffer and PBS buffer. Protein confirmation was done by Bradford assay in the spectrophotometer. A major contributing factor to these challenges is the liquid stream originating from the process of dewatering anaerobically digested solids. In response, 'cladists' claimed that parsimony was consistent in a different region of parameter space, which is called the "Farris zone". An effective method of mitigating such corrosion is to inject organic corrosion inhibitors (CIs). NaCl), and temperatures (30°C, 50°C, 70°C). Corrosion rate as a function of inhibitor dosage was determined for each test condition de

Abstract In this work, we have synthesized surfactants based on corn oil and studied their inhibition properties in CO2-saturated solutions at elevated temperatures. The structures of synthesized surfactants were confirmed by physical-chemical spectroscopic methods. The results showed that, all synthesized surfactants were good inhibitors and their inhibition efficiencies were increased with increasing the concentration of inhibitor. The increase of inhibition efficiency with increasing the concentration can be interpreted on the basis of the adsorption amount and the coverage of surfactants m

Abstract The aim of this research was to study the effectiveness of typical oilfield corrosion inhibitors in controlling internal corrosion of welded X65 pipeline steel in brines saturated with carbon dioxide at one bar pressure, under dynamic flowing conditions, at a range of temperatures. A rotating cylinder electrode (RCE) apparatus was designed to allow steel from the weld metal, heat affected zone (HAZ) and parent material to be galvanically coupled and tested in high shear stress conditions. In producing the RCE, the three regions of the weld were identified by optical metallography and

Abstract A corrosion inhibitor formulation based on coconut oil modified imidazolines has been evaluated as carbon dioxide (CO2) and hydrogen sulphide (H2S) corrosion inhibitor for UNS G10180(1) using a sodium chloride (NaCl) 3% solution. Testing techniques included potentiodynamic polarization curves and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. In absence of the inhibitor, steel was susceptible to uniform corrosion in presence of CO2, to blistering when H2S was present, and blistering and pitting corrosion when both CO2 and H2S were added to the 3% NaCl solution. A prominent magnetic low along an eastern portion of the Paleoproterozoic Taltson magmatic zone (TMZ) correlates mainly with the youngest granitoid in the zone, the peraluminous ca. 1936 Ma Konth granite. Flanking belts of higher magnetic intensity coincide mainly with slightly older Taltson plutonic rocks (e.g. ca. 1986 Ma Deskenatlata granodiorite, ca. 1955 Ma Slave granite) to the west and Neoarchean and/or Paleoproterozic gneisses of the Rae Craton to the east. A prominent gravity low along a portion of the northeastern margin of the TMZ correlates mainly with the Konth granite. Modelling

Abstract:
We investigate seismic attenuation characteristics of the Charlevoix Seismic Zone. This zone is located ~100 km downstream from Quebec City and is the most seismically active region of eastern Canada. We used earthquake recordings from 8 seismograph stations of the Canadian National Seismic Network (CNSN) across the region. Our dataset is comprised of 584 earthquakes recorded between 1992 and 2022 with magnitudes ranging from 2.0 to 5.4, depths from 0 to 30 km and epicentral distances of 5 to 100 km. This gives a total of 1490 high signal-to-noise (S/N) traces (S/N?5.0) useful for QC calculati

Abstract:
The goal of Northern Colorado Plateau Network (NCPN) riparian monitoring is to deter-mine long-term trends in hydrologic, geomorphic, and vegetative properties of wadeable streams in the context of changes in other ecological drivers, stressors, and processes. This information is intended to provide early warning of resource degradation and determine natural variability of wadeable streams. This report summarizes NCPN monitoring of the Fremont River in Capitol Reef National Park (NP) from water years 2009 to 2021. Abstract:
This is a final project report which documents the attempts to find a field useable hardness tester that could be used to predict the risk of cracking in the heat affected zone. Only one instrument was identified that performed with reasonable consistency. The maximum hardness value below which the researcher considered the risk of cracking to be minimal is provided. The Welding Supervisory Committee is not completely convinced of the validity of that hardness value. Because the report endorses one manufacturer, it is designated for member only use.

To prevent consumers from exposure to drug residues and increase of drug resistance pathogens, several food safety authorities in many countries have set the maximum residue limits (MRLs) for OTC and enforced the surveillance detection programs. Therefore, an effective screening method is essential to detect OTC residue in food. Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) is the suitable methods for screening a larg
