A number of innovative nitrogen removal technologies have been developed to address the treatment challenges caused by stringent regulations and increasing chemical and energy cost. A major contributing factor to these challenges is the liquid stream originating from the process of dewatering anaerobically digested solids. Mathematical conditions which showed where parsimony was not consistent for four taxa were first introduced by Felsenstein in 1978. This was subsequently labelled the "Felsenstein zone". Following Felsenstein's findings, 'frequentists' conjectured that for five taxa there would also be a region in parameter space where parsimony is not consistent. In response, 'cladists' claimed that parsimony was consistent in a different region of parameter space, which is called the "Farris zone". (Ericaceae) is an evergreen shrub that grows in dense thickets and currently covers large areas of the understory in the deciduous forests of the southeastern United States. The shape of the thermocline and the depth of the lysoline in the western tropical Pacific are both influenced by the overlying atmosphere, and both the shape of thermocline and the depth of the lysocline can be reconstructed from foraminifera-based paleo-proxies.
