Abstract:
This study evaluates the validity and reliability of the Dynomight™ MBTI, an innovative adaptation of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), in comparison with the original MBTI. Employing a quantitative research design, the study involved administering both the original MBTI and the Dynomight™ MBTI to participants from the Tulua institution. The primary objective was to assess the criterion concurrent validity and test-retest reliability of the Dynomight™ MBTI over a 6-week period. Results indicated a high degree of correlation between the two instruments across all personality axes, demonstrating the Dynomight™ MBTI's strong alignment with established MBTI constructs. Notably, the Dynomight™ MBTI's expanded categorization system, which includes a borderline category, addresses key critiques of the original MBTI's binary classification system and reliability concerns. The study found that the Dynomight™ MBTI effectively captures the spectrum and fluidity of personality traits, offering a more inclusive and adaptable approach to personality assessment. The study concludes that the Dynomight™ MBTI represents a significant advancement in personality assessment tools, providing valuable insights for personal development, team dynamics, and psychological research.

Abstract:
The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between lifestyle choices and MBTI. There were 86 participants who recorded their responses on a Google Form. Participants were provided a link to an MBTI assessment if they were unsure or had not taken an MBTI assessment prior to completing the form. Personality is believed to affect our preferences and our behavior. A total of 15 questions related to lifestyle choices were asked, and the data was compiled to determine whether there was a correlation between MBTI personality types and their lifestyle choices. An additional two questions were asked about gender and age for biographical data. To ascertain if personality is intrinsically related to lifestyle, commonalities had to be found within most members of each MBTI type. These questions include one’s usual state of mind, preferred entertainment genre, (prospective) career field, and a multitude of other insightful questions about one’s preferences. However, one limitation of this study was the relatively small sample size to the number of 16 MBTI types. The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) is a popular form of personality assessment that people use to aid their daily lives. Many people use their MBTI type to explore their strengths and weaknesses and improve them. This is done through understanding the role of cognitive functions and their varying strength by each MBTI type. Because people who share an MBTI type have so many behavioral similarities, there may also be a relationship between MBTI types and preferences.

Abstract:
The aim of this study was to explore how college students’ MBTI understanding influences their life satisfaction and the moderating effect of self-acceptance on this relationship. For this study, an online survey of 351 college students on MBTI understanding, life satisfaction, and self-acceptance was conducted and analyzed. Descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and SPSS Macro bootstrapping methods were applied to verify the moderating effects. The result showed that, first, college students’ higher MBTI understanding was associated with higher life satisfaction. Second, self-acceptance moderated the effect of MBTI understanding on life satisfaction of college students. In the group with high self-acceptance, life satisfaction was higher in the group with high MBTI understanding than in the group with low MBTI understanding. But, the group with low self-acceptance showed less change in life satisfaction with MBTI understanding. Based on these findings, we discussed how self-acceptance works in that MBTI understanding increases the satisfaction with the life of college students.

Abstract:
This study aimed to assess the potential contributions of the Myers–Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) to the sustainable growth of communities by conducting a comprehensive analysis of social perceptions of the MBTI in South Korea through big data analysis. The investigation encompasses three primary stages: data collection, preprocessing, and analysis, involving text mining, network analysis, CONCOR analysis, and sentiment analysis. A total of 31,308 text data pieces (13.73 MB) from various sources, including news, blogs, and other sections of Naver and Google, over the past three years, were collected and analyzed using the keyword “MBTI.” Tools, such as Textom SV, UCINET, and NetDraw, were employed for data collection and analysis. The study’s key findings include the identification, through term frequency (TF) and TF-inverse document frequency analyses, of top-ranking terms, such as 16Types, 4Indicators, Test, Myself, OthersMBTI, Situation, and Contents. The CONCOR analysis further revealed six clusters, encompassing themes like interest in MBTI personality tests, application of 16 types in daily life, MZ’s MBTI consumption patterns, trending of MBTI characters, extension to K-Test, and professional use of MBTI. Moreover, sentiment analysis indicated that 68.5% of individuals in South Korea expressed a positive sentiment towards MBTI, while 31.5% conveyed a negative sentiment. The specific emotions identified included liking (Good Feeling), disgust, and interest, in order of prominence. In light of these findings, this study delineates a spectrum of perceptions regarding MBTI in South Korea, encompassing both positive interests and negative concerns. To ensure the responsible use of MBTI, it is imperative to implement reliable scientific testing and education, mitigate the potential harm of stereotyping, and reshape social perceptions surrounding MBTI usage. Only through these measures can MBTI genuinely contribute to the sustainable growth of communities without being confined to limiting stereotypes.

Abstract:
The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) is a useful instrument for team building, strengthening communications, decision making, and for diagnosing organizational dysfunctions. The MBTI is, however, also misued if used for employee selection, or to unfairly stereotype. Misuses of the MBTI and not seeing the instruments' full potential in the organization, stem largely from inadquate training. Training in the MBTI should be expanded to teach how to typewatch, shadow integration, and how to use the MBTI to improve customer relations.

Abstract:
Self-concept is always an essential part of individuals. A personality test can help people recognize the connections between themselves and the mass society. In recent two years, Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, or MBTI, has become significantly popular among young people in China. Most past research focuses on the theories and implications of MBTI but does not have a clear investigation of how the wide use of MBTI would have an impact on people. This paper will target MBTI as the research subject, discussing its advantages and limitations as well as the possible impacts on young people in disseminating MBTI. A questionnaire will be distributed randomly to young people from different regions of China, combining past research and psychological concept with the result of the questionnaire to help the analysis and conclusion. The research concludes that young people, mostly in urban areas in China, are highly exposed to the MBTI test. The dissemination of MBTI could contribute to interior factors (psychological aspects) and exterior factors (social aspects). From the data analysis, the reliability of MBTI is still under discussion. In general, most people believe their personality types resemble themselves. However, there are pros and cons that result from the popularity of MBTI. For example, most noticeably, judging a person purely based on their personality test results.

Abstract:
Objectives This study was conducted to find out the main issues and meanings of Korean people's MBTI because two years after the first MBTI test became an issue using big data, and it shows more than just a psychological test. Methods Using the web crawler function, “MBTI” was collected from February to March 2022, and “Personality Type Test” was collected around ‘Naver news’ articles collected from November 2021 to March 2022, and language network analysis was conducted using a total of 3,910 keywords excluding disused words. Results First, the terminal frequency analysis showed that the top key keywords associated with MBTI were certification, education, symptoms, Yu Jae-seok, results, disorders, overcoming, study, counseling, depression, disposition, Korea, lecture, implementation, and operation. Second, as a result of analyzing the topic modeling based on the Latent Dirichlet Allocation(LDA), the four major topics were ‘related counseling programs’, which showed the types of counseling programs operated in relation to the actual MBTI. ‘Actual treatment and utilization plan as a professional’ appeared to be used in the actual treatment process as an expert as the youth appeared in high frequency. The MBTI Expert Course was not a formal psychological test in the broadcast, so it was interested in the official license MBTI inspection of the Korea MBTI Institute. ‘Celebrity and Issue’ appeared as an issue related to entertainers as MBTI received people's attention. Conclusions This study examined the overall perception of Korean people's MBTI and discussed the implications and significance of the study using it.

Abstract:
The purpose of this investigation was to determine the relationship between personality characteristics, as measured by the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) (form G), and an acute pain response in 107 postadolescent men. Subjects included 107 military school cadets. Each subject performed a cold pressor test (CPT) and was evaluated for pain threshold and pain tolerance times. Each was then evaluated for preference on eight personality characteristics: extraversion, introversion, sensing, intuition, thinking, feeling, judging, and perception. The personality characteristics were measured by the MBT1 (form G). Pearson product-moment correlations between the pain threshold and tolerance times and the eight personality characteristic scores were nonsignificant. The results indicated there was no relationship between the eight personality characteristics, as measured by the MBTI (form G), and pain threshold or pain tolerance, as measured by the CPT, The findings also indicated a low correlation between pain threshold and pain tolerance (r=.25).

Abstract:
Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) belongs to the most widely used personality measures, but its associations with decision-making were rarely explicitly studied. Relationships between MBTI personality types and decision-making competencies were the object of interest in present study. 121 high school (age 15-16) and university students (age 19-25) completed MBTI test and Adult Decision-Making Competence to assess their personality and decision-making competence. Correlation analysis and analysis of variance were used to investigate the relationship between personality and decision-making competence. Correlation analysis revealed that only five of 48 relationships between eight personality dimensions on the one hand and six decision-making competencies on the other hand were significant. Similar results were found by the relationship between decision-making competencies and new variables created as the differences between two opposite dimensions. No differences in decision-making competencies were significant by the comparison of four basic MBTI types. MBTI personality types do not associate with decision-making styles. This result points out that good decision-making outcomes are not exclusive for certain personalities and can be achieved by various ways. Abstract Along with the increasing supply of labor, the competition for jobs is also increasingly difficult, companies are also increasingly selective in recruiting new employees to fit the expected criteria through various selection methods, one of which is common and has long been used by various leading companies is Myers - Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), but the question arises whether the use of MBTI as a benchmark for employee acceptance is still relevant and effective to use? The purpose of this study was to prove the relevance of the use of the MBTI test in employee recruitment, the research was conducted using the literature review method or literature study. it can be concluded that it is still relevant to be used in the final recruitment stage, but not as a determinant of whether a candidate is accepted or not, but only for the process of placing colleagues in order to facilitate the process of mutual understanding for performance effectiveness. Keywords: MBTI, job acceptance, recruitment, profession, job application, selection test.

Abstract:
This study focus on comparing the similarities and differences between the Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) theory and the enneagram theory, as well as their differences on the scale. This allows for a better understanding of the differences between the two theories in the dimensions of personality types, leading to a better understanding of oneself and others. From what we understand, both MBTI theory and enneagram theory have different classifications of personality types, which allow people to understand themselves and others more fully. However, compared with the enneagram theory, the MBTI theory is more popular and has more general application. The MBTI scale is also more comprehensive and has higher structural validity and overall reliability than the enneagram theory. Although the enneagram theory of the nine personality types is more commonly used in talent management, it is not as widely used as the MBTI. Through this research, we will be able to more fully understand the similarities and differences between the two theories.

Abstract:
Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) is currently one of the most widely used personality testing tools. MBTI has important value in the field of psychology and career planning. In this essay, a system that can predict people's MBTI features based on their social media posts is proposed. The dataset used in this paper is derived from the online posts of peo-ple with different MBTI personality types. After these posts are preprocessed, they will be analyzed using methods related to decision trees such as random forest and XGBoost. The results from these methods will be compared to other common methods, such as neural networks. The essay measures the ability of the different methods by using the classifying accuracy in the four different dimensions of MBTI. The decision-tree-related methods achieved generally higher accuracy in the task than other types of methods such as neural networks. Methods such as random forest achieved accuracy over 85% on the second la-bel (N/S), and at least 60% accuracy on other labels.

Abstract:
MbtI from Mycobacterium tuberculosis (Mtb) is a Mg2+-dependent salicylate synthase, belonging to the chorismate-utilizing enzyme (CUE) family. As a fundamental player in iron acquisition, MbtI promotes the survival and pathogenicity of Mtb in the infected host. Hence, it has emerged in the last decade as an innovative, potential target for the anti-virulence therapy of tuberculosis. In this context, 5-phenylfuran-2-carboxylic acids have been identified as potent MbtI inhibitors. The first co-crystal structure of MbtI in complex with a member of this class was described in 2020, showing the enzyme adopting an open configuration. Due to the high mobility of the loop adjacent to the binding pocket, large portions of the amino acid chain were not defined in the electron density map, hindering computational efforts aimed at structure-driven ligand optimization. Herein, we report a new, high-resolution co-crystal structure of MbtI with a furan-based derivative, in which the closed configuration of the enzyme allowed tracing the entirety of the active site pocket in the presence of the bound inhibitor. Moreover, we describe a new crystal structure of MbtI in open conformation and in complex with the known inhibitor methyl-AMT, suggesting that in vitro potency is not related to the observed enzyme conformation. These findings will prove fundamental to enhance the potency of this series via rational structure-based drug-design approaches.

Abstract:
Many of the challenges facing the accounting profession involve personality characteristics of accountants. Personality theories have generated a rich research stream outside accounting and are widely applied in other disciplines and professions. Yet little research using these theories has been done in accounting. To redress this imbalance, this paper examines Jungian personality-type psychology—one of the main personality theories—and the major psychometric instrument that has arisen from it—the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI). The MBTI has been extensively tested for reliability and validity, and used in a large number of basic and education research studies. Results from reliability and validity testing indicate that the MBTI reliably measures personality characteristics predicted by Jungian theory. A small amount of published research has been conducted in accounting using the MBTI. These 16 articles are reviewed, with suggestions for additional research.

Abstract:
Abstract Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) is a psychological test that distinguishes a person's personality. The MBTI is one of the most popular personality types in the world, including South Korea. The MBTI trend in South Korea is also used by K-Pop artists to share their MBTI types so they could be closer to their fans. One of the social media commonly used by K-Pop artists is Instagram. This study tries to develop a personality type classification model based on Instagram captions of K-Pop artists using Word2Vec and Long-Short Term Memory (LSTM). There are 118,401 caption data that have been cleaned through a series of pre-processing steps from 458 artists. The distribution of personality types shows that the target is not balanced, so it is necessary to handle imbalanced data, namely shifting the threshold after modeling. Evaluation of the combination model yields a macro f1 value of 0.65 in the artist data, with the details of the Extroversion-Introversion, Sensing-Intuition, Thinking-Feeling models having the same macro f1 value of 0.88, while the Judging-Perceiving model has a slightly better macro f1 value of 0.90. The model is deployed in the Streamlit web application so that K-Pop fans can use it to predict the MBTI type by inputting Instagram captions. The web application is evaluated using the System Usability Scale (SUS) questionnaire and gets a score of 84.55 so it is considered acceptable.

Abstract:
Aim/Purpose: This study identifies gamification element preferences based on Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) characteristics. It measures the influence of preferences on learning motivation through a pre-experimental design of one group pre-test post-test. Background: Incorporating information technology in education has led to the introduction of e-learning, potentially enhancing the learning process. However, adopting e-learning also brings about negative effects that can lead to frustration, confusion, and reduced learning motivation. One strategy that can be used to address this issue is gamification. However, it is essential to note that a universal approach to gamification is not practical as user needs vary. It can result in less-than-optimal learning outcomes. Thus, gamification settings must be tailored to the user’s characteristics, such as those identified through the MBTI, to provide a more personalized learning experience. Methodology: This study conducted pre-experimental research in one group, pre-test, and post-test, divided into several stages: problem identification, research instrument design, pre-data collection and analysis, treatment, post-data collection and analysis, and evaluation. Pre-test and post-test were used to measure student motivation towards the gamification elements implemented. This study utilized the MBTI, Academic Motivation Scale (AMS), and gamification preferences questionnaire throughout the pre-data collection and analysis stage. For gamification preferences, this study employed 45 questions representing nine elements of gamification frequently used in training and education. Kendall Rank Correlation Coefficient was used to determine the correlation between MBTI and the gamification element from the gamification preferences questionnaire. Contribution: This research contributes to the body of knowledge in gamification experiments by adding one step in recognizing gamification preferences. The practical contribution to this research is aimed at educators in maximizing Moodle by considering the gamification element preference recommendations based on the MBTI type. Findings: The analysis revealed that the gamification preferences of fourteen MBTI types were predominantly associated with extrovert types. Collection and Leaderboard elements showed the highest correlation with MBTI. The effect of gamification was assessed during the treatment stage to evaluate its impact on learning motivation for the dominant MBTI type. Pre-test and post-test measurements of learning motivation show changes that are dominated by the intrinsic motivation dimension. Recommendations for Practitioners: This research is valuable for offering guidance to educators and practical insights to developers into integrating gamification effectively by taking gamification preferences based on MBTI. Tailoring gamification elements based on MBTI creates a more engaging learning experience for every user, ultimately enhancing motivation for learning. Recommendation for Researchers: This study contributes one step to experimental research, mainly focusing on the preliminary identification of gamification preferences based on MBTI. Using the gamification preferences, researchers can broaden the experimental scope and provide validation evidence from quantitative research. This approach supports the robustness of the recommendation gamification elements. Impact on Society: This study presents findings on gamification elements aligned with MBTI characteristics. These findings can be used as strategies for implementing personalized gamification in e-learning to the diverse needs of students, fostering a more tailored learning ecosystem and ultimately advancing education. Future Research: We could expand the identification of gamification preferences in various management learning media to explore the use of gamification elements. Further surveys can be done by increasing the number of respondents from other majors and universities so that more respondents can represent each type of MBTI. This addition will contribute to the data’s characteristics, enabling a more comprehensive gamification preferences analysis. Conducting experiments involving adaptive learning media to align gamification with personality-based preferences, ensuring that the gamification experiences align with personality-based preferences. Multiple groups with varying treatments can carry out experiments that validate gamification preferences.

Abstract:
The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) is a well-known personality test that assigns a personality type to a user by using four traits dichotomies. For many years, people have used MBTI as an instrument to develop self-awareness and to guide their personal decisions. Previous researches have good successes in predicting Extraversion-Introversion (E/I), Sensing-Intuition (S/N) and Thinking-Feeling (T/F) dichotomies from textual data but struggled to do so with Judging-Perceiving (J/P) dichotomy. J/P dichotomy in MBTI is a non-separable part of MBTI that have significant inference on human behavior, perception and decision towards their surroundings. It is an assessment on how someone interacts with the world when making decision. This research was set out to evaluate the performance of the individual features and classifiers for J/P dichotomy in personality computing. At the end, data leakage was found in dataset originating from the Personality Forum Café, which was used in recent researches. The results obtained from the previous research on this dataset were suggested to be overly optimistic. Using the same settings, this research managed to outperform previous researches. Five machine learning algorithms were compared, and LightGBM model was recommended for the task of predicting J/P dichotomy in MBTI personality computing.

Abstract:
The rise of social media as a platform for self-expression and self-understanding has led to increased interest in using the Myers–Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) to explore human personalities. Despite this, there needs to be more research on how other word-embedding techniques, machine learning algorithms, and imbalanced data-handling techniques can improve the results of MBTI personality-type predictions. Our research aimed to investigate the efficacy of these techniques by utilizing the Word2Vec model to obtain a vector representation of words in the corpus data. We implemented several machine learning approaches, including logistic regression, linear support vector classification, stochastic gradient descent, random forest, the extreme gradient boosting classifier, and the cat boosting classifier. In addition, we used the synthetic minority oversampling technique (SMOTE) to address the issue of imbalanced data. The results showed that our approach could achieve a relatively high F1 score (between 0.7383 and 0.8282), depending on the chosen model for predicting and classifying MBTI personality. Furthermore, we found that using SMOTE could improve the selected models’ performance (F1 score between 0.7553 and 0.8337), proving that the machine learning approach integrated with Word2Vec and SMOTE could predict and classify MBTI personality well, thus enhancing the understanding of MBTI.

Abstract:
Construct validity is a core issue in the design of a standard psychological instrument. There are many contrasting arguments about the factor structure of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI, Myers, 1962). A variety of methods and sample sizes used in prior studies has created these differences. Therefore, this study explored factor structure of the Chinese version MBTI, Form G based on two samples with roughly equal sample sizes, using the same method. Results supported construct validity of the Chinese version of the MBTI-G (Miao, Huangfu, Chia, & Ren, 2004), for there were four factors extracted based on the two samples respectively. However, factor analysis results raised questions about the nature of the Sensation-Intuition scale. This study provided evidence that, for a collectivist culture, the description of items related to the individual's own preference and attitude or other people's value and attitude would affect the results of the Chinese version MBTI-G in construct validity evaluation.

Abstract:
Personality is defined as the mix of features and qualities that make up an individual's particular character, including thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. With the rapid development of technology, personality computing is becoming a popular research field by providing users with personalization. Many researchers have used social media data to automatically predict personality. This research uses a public dataset from Kaggle, namely the Myers-Briggs Personality Type Dataset. The purpose of this study is to predict the accuracy and F1-score values so that the performance for predicting and classifying Myers–Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) personality can work optimally by using attributes from the MBTI dataset, namely posts and types. Predictive accuracy analysis was carried out using the Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) algorithm with random oversampling technique with the Imblearn library for MBTI personality type prediction and comparing the performance of the method proposed in this study with other popular machine learning algorithms. Experiments show that the LSTM model using the RMSprop optimizer and learning speed of 10-3 provides higher performance in terms of accuracy while for the F1-score the LSTM model using the RMSprop Optimizer and learning speed of 10-2 gives a higher value than the proposed machine learning algorithm so that the model MBTI dataset using LSTM with random oversampling can help in identifying the MBTI personality type.

Abstract:
INTRODUCTION: The relationship between personality type and medical problems has been discussed widely in the literature, but empirical data on the relationship between heart diseases and personality types is lacking. In the current study, we aim to look at the connections (if there are ones) between Myer-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) personality types and Cardiac Rehabilitation Patients (CRPs) profiles. MATERIALS & METHODS: The current cross-sectional study was conducted from October 2017 to February 2019. The study included five hundred fifty-two (male: 336, female: 216) CRPs referred to Tehran Heart Center via a convenient sampling. After acquiring a written consent form and obtaining demographic data (age, educational status, blood type, antigen type, BMI, risk factors) from the medical history database, we asked participants to answer to Persian version of the MBTI questionnaire. Finally, we assessed any existing (if there) relationship between MBTI subtypes and the abovementioned variables among CRPs. RESULTS: According to the current study, among 16 MBTI personality types, only four types were identified in cardiac rehabilitation patients. Accordingly, INTJ maintained the highest frequency of CRPs, followed by ISTJ, ESTJ and ISFJ, respectively. The current study demonstrated a significant difference between PCI and CABG interventions among four MBTI dichotomies. The study also shows no significant association between risk factors and MBTI personality types (P<0.05). CONCLUSION: The result of the study has a salient clinical implication, as it can be adopted in the screening and intervention phases of the clinical process. During the screening, a clinician can tailor the therapeutic procedures according to the specific needs of the patient's personality traits. Furthermore, clinicians may elevate patients' adherence to treatment by considering specific personality preferences.

Early research investigating the personality of college-aged student and professional musicians examined traits of music performers, composers, and music teachers. Subsequent research studies followed with examinations of personality in university music programs, several of which employed the Myers-Briggs Personality Inventory (MBTI). The prevalence of MBTI types has not been examined amongst the diversity of music programs currently offered in many universities. The purpose of this study was to examine the prevalence of MBTI psychological type of university music students ( N = 217) across six different music majors (i.e., Music Business, Music Composition, Music Education, Music Engineering, Music Performance, and Music Therapy). The MBTI mental function of Intuitive–Feeling was found to be highly over-represented in the total music sample as compared to national norms, while several other personality preferences significantly dominated or were sparse in the music majors. The findings extend the personality and music research literature and have practical implications for music educators, academic counsellors, college-aged music students, and students who are considering music as a study and career.

Abstract:
Abstract For many people, learning style is a critical success factor in higher education. To date, there is no widely accepted method for categorizing learning styles, but several potential scales and classifications are being used as alternatives, one of which is the subject of this study. As a result, the purpose of this study is to determine what and how each individual's potential learning styles are. In this study, it was discovered that personality tests are not a determining factor of individual learning styles; each individual has their own uniqueness and learning characteristics; personality type can be a reference but is not a specific determinant of an individual's learning style. Further investigation is required to determine the best learning style for each individual. The MBTI personality test, which categorizes people into 16 different personality types, is a good starting point for measuring personality. However, the MBTI personality test, which categorizes people into 16 different personality types, is a useful tool for determining the compatibility of an individual's learning style and their MBTI personality type. Keywords: learning styles, personality test, Myers-Briggs Type Indicator test (MBTI) Abstrak Bagi banyak orang, gaya belajar merupakan salah satu faktor penentu keberhasilan dalam pendidikan tinggi. Abstract:
Objectives This study aimed to analyze learners' reactions to non-face-to-face classes using the MBTI personality type test and learning style test as tools for students who entered high school during the COVID-19 crisis. In detail, the focus was on revealing the differences in perception, satisfaction, and learning styles for non-face- to-face classes according to the intensity of each preference index of the MBTI personality type. Ultimately, in designing non-face-to-face remote classes, the purpose was to be used as a material to improve the learning effect of learners by considering individual personality differences. Methods The MBTI personality type test was conducted by sampling 207 second graders of K High School located in Guro-gu, Seoul, who experienced remote and school classes at the same time after entering high school. Afterwards, the recognition and satisfaction of non-face-to-face remote classes and learning style tests were conducted, and the results of a total of 140 students, 61 boys and 79 girls, who agreed to this study, were analyzed. The results derived through factor analysis and variance analysis (ANOVA) using the statistical program SPSS 22 are as follows. Results First, there was no significant difference in perception of the learning environment by 16 types of MBTI, but there was a significant difference in perception function among preference indicators. Depending on the strength of the recognition function, differences were recognized for the face-to-face and non-face-to-face learning environments in the order of obvious intuition (N), slight sense (S), and slight intuition (N). Second, there was no significant difference in satisfaction with the non-face-to-face learning environment by strength of both MBTI personality type and preference index. Third, cooperative, participatory, and avoidance types showed significant differences in learning styles by 16 personality types of MBTI, but competitive types did not show significant differences. ENFJ for cooperative type, INTJ for participatory type, and ENTP for avoidance type showed the greatest tendency. Fourth, there was a significant difference in the learning styles of cooperative, participatory, and avoidance according to the strength of the MBTI preference index. Cooperative types were clearly extroverted (E), clearly intuitive (N), clearly emotional (F), clearly recognized (P), participating types were clearly/slightly introverted (I), slightly intuitive (N), slightly judged (T), slightly avoided (P), slightly extroverted (E), clearly sensed (S), and clearly recognized (P). Conclusions This study suggested that there is a clear difference in the learning environment and learning style according to the strength of the 16 MBTI personality types and preference indicators. Accordingly, it suggests that it is important to prepare conditions to effectively increase the learning effect by providing a learning environment and learning type suitable for the learner's personality type and tendency.

Abstract:
Abstract Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) personality is becoming a popular topic in understanding individual characteristics and their impact on social interaction, career, and decision-making. Machine Learning models with Naive Bayes Classifier algorithms are often used to predict MBTI personalities from Twitter data. However, there is often a class imbalance, with some personality types having a smaller sample. To overcome this, this study used the Synthetic Minority Over-sampling Technique (SMOTE) technique to increase the number of samples in minority classes. Additionally, the Term Frequency-Inverse Document Frequency (TF-IDF) method is used to extract important features from text. This study aims to apply SMOTE techniques to address class imbalances in MBTI personality classification using several Naïve Bayes Classifier algorithms, including Gaussian, Multinomial, Bernoulli, Complement, and Logistic Regression based on Keirsey's model: Artisan, Guardian, Rational, and Idealist. Evaluation using the Hold-Out-Validation method by dividing the data into 90% training data and 10% test data. The evaluation results showed low performance of the Naive Bayes Classifier algorithm for the Artisan and Guardian classes, but both for the Rational and Idealist classes. The Logistic Regression algorithm has the highest accuracy of 79% and better performance overall, although it is still low for the Artisan and Guardian classes. Thus, this study provides insight into the use of Naive Bayes Classifier algorithm and SMOTE technique in MBTI personality prediction, with potential performance improvement through the use of Logistic Regression algorithm.

Abstract:
Tuberculosis (TB) causes millions of deaths every year, ranking as one of the most dangerous infectious diseases worldwide. Because several pathogenic strains of Mycobacterium tuberculosis (Mtb) have developed resistance against most of the established anti-TB drugs, new therapeutic options are urgently needed. An attractive target for the development of new antitubercular agents is the salicylate synthase MbtI, an essential enzyme for the mycobacterial siderophore biochemical machinery, absent in human cells. A set of analogues of I and II, two of the most potent MbtI inhibitors identified to date, was synthesized, characterized, and tested to elucidate the structural requirements for achieving an efficient MbtI inhibition and a potent antitubercular activity with this class of compounds. The structure-activity relationships (SAR) here discussed evidenced the importance of the furan as part of the pharmacophore and led to the preparation of six new compounds (IV–IX), which gave us the opportunity to examine a hitherto unexplored position of the phenyl ring. Among them emerged 5-(3-cyano-5-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl)furan-2-carboxylic acid (IV), endowed with comparable inhibitory properties to the previous leads, but a better antitubercular activity, which is a key issue in MbtI inhibitor research. Therefore, compound IV offers promising prospects for future studies on the development of novel agents against mycobacterial infections.

Abstract:
The popularity of social media services has led to an increase of personality-relevant data in online spaces. While the majority of people who use these services tend to express their personality through measures offered by the Myers–Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), another personality model known as the Big Five has been a dominant paradigm in academic works that deal with personality research. In this paper, we seek to bridge the gap between the MBTI, Big Five and another personality model known as the Enneagram of Personality, with the goal of increasing the amount of resources for the Big Five model. We further explore the relationship that was previously reported between the MBTI types and certain Big Five traits as well as test for the presence of a similar relationship between Enneagram and Big Five measures. We propose a new method relying on psycholingusitc features selected based on their relationship with the MBTI model. This approach showed the best performance through our experiments and led to an increase of up to 3% in automatic personality recognition for Big Five traits on the per-trait level. Our detailed experimentation offers further insight into the nature of personality and into how well it translates between different personality models.

Abstract:
Personality is a unique set of motivations, feelings, and behaviors humans possess. Personality detection on social media is a research topic commonly conducted in computer science. Personality models often used for personality detection research are the Big Five Indicator (BFI) and Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) models. Unlike the BFI, which classifies personalities based on an individual’s traits, the MBTI model classifies personalities based on the type of the individual. So, MBTI performs better in several scenarios than the Big Five model. Many studies use machine learning to detect personality on social media, such as Logistic Regression, Naïve Bayes, and Support Vector Machine. With the recent popularity of Deep Learning, we can use language models such as DistilBERT to classify personality on social media. Because of DistilBERT’s ability to process large sentences and the ability for parallelization thanks to the transformer architecture. Therefore, the proposed research will detect MBTI personality on Reddit using DistilBERT. The evaluation shows that removing stopwords on the data preprocessing stage can reduce the model’s performance, and with class imbalance handling, DistilBERT performs worse than without class imbalance handling. Also, as a comparison, DistilBERT outperforms other machine learning classifiers such as Naïve Bayes, SVM, and Logistic Regression in accuracy, precision, recall, and f1-score.

Abstract:
Research results of professionally significant qualities (behavioral competence) of managers involved in projects are discussed in this paper. The research results have been compared with NCB SOVNET 3.0 behavioral competence norms. Four types of managers have been empirically identified according to their professional competence: 1st type judging introvert; 2nd type judging extrovert; 3rd type perceiving extrovert; 4th type perceiving introvert. Psychological factors directly correlated with planning and control of work execution by project participants and influencing these planning and control are considered within the macro psychological approach to their learning. The problem of involving motivated, enterprising and able to make decisions almost intuitively people in projects becomes more and more topical nowadays for companies management. Effective decision-making in management depends on a type of project managers personality, compliance of his profile to project type. In the course of work project managers have great difficulties in activities planning and organizing, and the problem of compliance between project managers personality type and the project character becomes important. Different projects require different types of managers. An appointment of an employee with the right personality profile and leadership style, corresponding to the project type is one of project effectiveness key conditions. One of the most popular techniques for project managers personality type diagnosis is MBTI. According to this approach the successful project managers are people with NT (Intuitive, Thinking) personality type; which make decisions based on intuition and logic. This is due to these managers are able to make decisions under uncertainty with lack of information. MBTI technique allows define the project managers personality type with the help of a meta model as a synthesis of informations receiving and processing way, specific models of behavior and thinking style. In the conducted research with use of mathematical methods it was shown a possibility to define the type of employee and draw a conclusion on its behavioral competences by means of express diagnostics during conversation.
