The method is based on determining the parameters of the steady-state response of the measuring transducer using a periodic sequence of rectangular pulses of known time pulse and repetition period as an input signal. Expressions for determining the time constant for various response parameters: maximum, minimum, average, and average rectified values are given. The evaluation of the measurement uncertainty for each of the obtained expressions is made. The proposed method has hi

This allows us to improve the forecast accuracy of future volatility via the heterogeneous autoregressive model and random forest algorithm.

In this thesis the real-time latency of an i.MX7D processor on a CL-SOM-IMX7 boardis evaluated. The real-time Linux for the system is created using Xenomai with both theI-Pipe patch and thePREEMPT_RTpatch. The embedded distribution is built using theYocto Project and uses a vendor i.MX kernel maintained by NXP. The maximum latency for thecobaltcore is268μsfor user-space tasks with a loadedCPU. These types of tasks have the highest latency of Xenomai's three task categories.A latency measurement of thePREEMPT_RTpatch showed a maximum latency ofwith an idle CPU. Therefore it is concluded that th

Abstract:
For financial institutions, the assessment of risk tolerance is a crucial step for an effective and reliable customer profiling, however, its evaluation is not straightforward. A deeper analysis is essential precisely because the way in which risk attitude shapes, evolves and is measured may be considered from distinct points of view which are sometimes conflicting and sometimes converging. A central aspect of the discussion is related to whether this propensity is constant or if it changes over the lifetime, in particular after experiencing specific life events. The first part of this study i

Abstract:
Research in the field of travel time measurement using Bluetooth technology has been an area of great interest in recent years as transportation professionals strive to increase the cost-effectiveness, accuracy, anonymity, and safety of travel time data collection methods. Commonly used travel time data collection methods include the use of inductive loops, video cameras, and probe vehicles. However, Bluetooth, a globally accepted wireless technology, serves as the medium being utilized by more and more transportation consultants, public agencies, and academics in the collection of travel time
