Abstract:
Both PMN and PZT are perovskite oxides and typical functional materials applicable to various devices for its chemistry and physics properties. The conventional method solid-state reaction method has some drawbacks of high reaction temperature, large particle size and limited degree of chemical homogeneity. So, an easy, low cost and environmental method of synthesizing fine and homogenous powders is required. This paper discusses the synthesis of PMN and PZT by the new mechano-chemical method, the screw grinding method. Through experiments, it was found that the mechanism of mechano-chemical m

Abstract:
The present work reports a study of mechano-chemical synthesis (MCS) and mechano-chemical activation synthesis (MCAS) of nanostructured hydrides in the Mg-H, Mg-Al-H and Mg-B-H systems by controlled reactive mechanical alloying/milling (CRMA/CRMM) in the magneto-mill Uni-Ball-Mill 5. Regardless of the hydride systems, the morphologies of milled Mg-H, Mg-Al-H and Mg-B-H powders after a prolonged milling time can be characterized by dramatic particle size refinement and high tendency to form agglomerates. In the Mg-Al-H system, no successful synthesis of magnesium alanate has been achieved by M

Pandey, N. "Introduction, Past and Present Scenarios of Plastic Degradation." In Degradation of Plastics. m, 2021. http://dx.doi.org/10.21741/9781644901335-1.

Abstract:
The fascinating properties of plastic make its use widely possible in every field for the ease of human life. On the other hand, these properties make plastic non-biodegradable in nature. Hence the increasing accumulation of plastic in the environment is the arising concern for environmentalists and human society. This growing concern has motivated researchers and technologist to promote research activity for finding new degradation methods for plastics, synthesis of new plastic with biodegradable nature or find alternatives to plastics. Considering these facts, this book chapter briefly discusses the management of post-consumer plastic products and all the possible methods for plastic degradation such as photo and thermo-oxidative, catalytic, mechano-chemical and chemical along with the factors affecting these degradation methods.

Abstract:
The ternary LiNH2-MgH2-LiBH4 hydrogen storage system has been extensively studied by adopting various processing reaction pathways. The stoichiometric ratio of LiNH2:MgH2:LiBH4 is kept constant with a 2:1:1 molar ratio. All samples are prepared using solid-state mechano-chemical synthesis with a constant rotational speed, but with varying milling duration. All samples are intimate mixtures of Li-B-N-H and MgH2, with varying particle sizes. It is found that the samples with MgH2 particle sizes of approximately 10nm exhibit lower initial hydrogen release at a temperature of 150°C. The as-synthes

Abstract:
The contact formation between cell membrane and a bio-adhesive substrate is driven by binding between transmembrane mobile receptors (e.g., integrin) and complementary ligand molecules on the substrate (fibronectin, collagen, etc.) This short range specific adhesion is alleviated by a phalanx of interfacial non-specific forces. In addition to cell-substrate interfacial interactions, cell adhesion can be mediated by a wide range of substrate physiochemical properties. In particular, mechanical stiffness of the substrate has been recognized as one of the major regulators for bio-adhesion. Cells
