In this article I analyze the devotional post-incunabula commissioned by Cardinal Francisco Xim&eacute;nez Cisneros through a case study: the <em>Liber qui dicitur Angela de Fulginio</em> (1505), which also includes <em>Liber specialis</em> (aka <em>spiritualis</em>) <em>gratiae</em> by Mechthild von Hackeborn and the <em>Prima regula</em> by Francis of Assisi.
