Abstract:
Social media is a vast, fluctuant domain that is difficult to grasp, overlook and explain. It is important in our daily lives as well as for organisations, such as traditional media. Traditional media is moving from analogue news propagation to propagating news online, where social media plays a significant role. This study contributes to the understanding of traditional media propagation in social media, through quantitative and network analysis of articles’ spread in social media. This thesis is about an operator algebraic approach towards the derivation of the electrical conductivity in disordered solid states based on the theory of quantum many-particle systems. Such an approach is of interest since it allows for the description of interacting electron gases, which is a feature not present in previous work. In the context of the description of ergodic media, new concepts are introduced, such as covariant states and covariant morphisms. Moreover, the concept of covariant states is combined with the well-known concept of KMS states. In its covariant form, KMS states d

The concept of media fragment refers to the deep linking into multimedia resources, but making annotations to media fragments and linking them to other resources on the Web have yet to be adopted. Each particle is replaced by a lattice within its microstructure and particles interact through load transfer at nodes.
