Full textThe power of women in politics, before, during and after colonization, has not declined with the power of media. Through the associative life, women have managed to prevail by empowerment in civil society, despite the constraints of polygamy, excision and levirate marriage, since the time of independence in 1960. But with the informal trade, women come together to develop a strategy to escape. The emergence of a feminine power, could waver existing strengths. About polygamy, what could be more natural to have several wives for a Muslim, to the extent that religion encourages it. While ignorance of family planning, the repetition of birth, make them sick and destroyed the integrity of women. Regarding informal trade, becomes a lever of emancipation which affirm their social, economic empowerment and recognition of the society to care after for their ''Borom Kër'', the householder. The future is concentrated in associative areas in different villages. The group therefore allows women an education and a reduction of illiteracy. Awareness of their power over men is present in their work force. When Wolof woman managed to supplant her husband by informal trade, went to meetings of women, it's kneel and humbly ask her husband's permission. This allows him to leave. This is necessary, despite the economic independence of women. Its lower about the rights is important for the future of children. Vision of Senegalese culture, whom respect the man made it the spiritual guide and protector of all family

Full textCombining a sociohistory of representations and an analysis of television news items, this thesis considers how national TV news discourses (re)configure motherhood and fatherhood, masculinities and femininities, from 1962 to 2018.Infanticide was first invisibilized by the French State television, which was reluctant to portray crimes that threatened to weaken national unity, and thereafter set aside by editorial staffs unwilling to feature family disorders. It eventually gained representation in the second half of the 1980s, after the television sector was progressively opened to competition. During that period, the recognition of children as persons and the rise of figures of victimhood contributed to the simplified representation of family as a dangerous place. However, the parental dimension of the crimes was still rarely discussed: women were usually shown as sick mothers and fathers as violent men. From 2005 on, media coverage of the phenomenon exploded, before drastically falling a decade later. The showing of individualized parental figures goes hand in hand with an increased problematization of motherhood and fatherhood. While the majority of female criminals are presented as “good mothers”, the devastating effects of oblative maternity on personal well-being were given more consideration. As the part they play remains peripheral to a family unit they still depend upon, men are only very slowly embracing the culture of intimacy. All in all, media representations influence the tensions endured by motherhood and fatherhood, as they engage with second modernity: they challenge feminine identity sacrifices and the weak integration of fathers within the relational family
Rougeul, Françoise. "Formation du système thérapeutique et affiliation au cours du premier entretien." Paris 10, 1988. http://www.theses.fr/1988PA100047.
Full textThe present work is a study of the way therapist and family become affiliated in the course of their very first interview, the process being supposed to condition the further evolution of the therapy either to a stop or to a follow on. Another aim is to develop a method for a multidimensional analysis of the interviews. From a therapeutic point of view, the concept of affiliation is interpreted in the light of two principles originating in biology; the principle of complexity from noise (H. Atlan) and the principle of informational closure in autonomous systems (Maturana and Varela). The hypothesis is that affiliation will exist only inasmuch as the therapeutic system is able to develop self-organizing characteristics which become manifest through specific configurations of interaction between therapists and family members. Another hypothesis is that, for its constitution, affiliation is dependent on the elaboration of a collective myth where new meanings are worked out. This myth would be related with the effective constitution of the therapeutic system into a specific autonomous system with informational closure

Full textBased on a corpus which consists of 150 family books written between 1260 and 1480, this study intends to define the representations that Florence citizens had of their republic, of its running and of their role within it.The first part aims at identifying which room is given to historical and political passages in these books, and the functions of these excerpts in the overall writing strategy. The point is to study how the building of family identity was connected to the life of the city. The second part contains a stylistic and semantic analysis of the narrative parts that are dedicated to the major events of the 14th and 15th centuries. It offers a series of snapshots that define several specific configurations of the city’s political body and of how families refer to it. This textual analysis also provides us an image of the Florentine intellectual framework and a list of the key-concepts that characterized the political thought of the authors – which goes far beyond a mere interest in chronicles. The third part focuses on the use of those keywords in a diachronic perspective, in order to identify the evolutions, the involutions and the breaking points of this thought over the generations, and questions the link between citizens’ active political participation and their private writing on city affairs. The appendix presents transcriptions of the excerpts on the life of the city contained in the unpublished family books of the Florentine families, as well as biographical notes on their often unknown authors

Full textThis dissertation adopts a constructivist and critical approach of the subject “Alzheimer and sexuality”, by focusing on how relatives and health professionals perceive sexuality. Forty-three interviews were conducted among these two groups and analyzed by grounded theory. By combining the sexual script theory with social representation theory, this research presents in a first part a typology of the representations of the people labeled Alzheimer (PLA), that are mainly characterized by abnormalization. The second part shows that the scripts and representations are not used in the same way by health professionals and relatives. While professionals tend to conceive the PLA’s sexuality as problematic, relatives see it as secondary. In a last part, the subjectivities of health professionals and relatives are analyzed in their social context, allowing to shed light on the singularity and the complexity of their individual positions. Eventually, this work highlights the mechanisms of construction of otherness, leading to forms of ageism and validism manifested by the prohibition of PLA’s sexuality, its limitation, or its unthinkable nature

Full textThe chimerical oncogene BCR-ABL is known to induce autonomous motility of leukemic cells. We previously showed that p210bcr-abl responsible for chronic myelogenous leukaemia activates RhoA and Rac1, while p190bcr-abl, associated with acute lymphoid leukaemia, although devoid of a DH domain activates Rac1, but not RhoA. Moreover p95vav is present in an activated state in complex with Bcr-Abl. Here, we investigated the regulation of GEF activities in the BCR-ABL complex. For that purpose, different GEF activity mutants of Vav and of BCR-ABL were constructed and stably transfected in Ba/F3 cells. We demonstrated that RhoA is exclusively activated by the DH domain of p210bcr-abl, while Rac1 activation was only due to Vav. We show that p210bcr-abl induces a specific amoeboid mobility which is due to RhoA activity, while p190bcr-abl induces a rolling type mobility associated with Rac1 activity. Finally, our results reveal a synergistic mechanism between BCR-ABL and Vav GEFs. Moreover, we demonstrated the presence of Vav2 and GTPase RhoG in the complex with Bcr-Abl. This new signaling pathway cooperates with Vav to activate Rac1 and probably Cdc42. Recently, using blood patient samples, we proved that our model of differential activation of Rho GTPases in leukemia disease is valid. We proposed a molecular study to follow up the leukemia diseases of patients
Stallini, Sophie. "La « sacra rappresentazione » entre les Médicis et Saint-Marc." Thesis, Paris 3, 2009. http://www.theses.fr/2009PA030110.
Full textThe sacre rappresentazioni [a theatrical genre, generally unfamiliar] are born in Florence, in the mid-fifteenth century, led by the Dominicans of San Marco. The purposes of this theatre are primarily educational. Children, at the time, are in the centre of important civil and religious interests. They must become both good citizens and good Christians. Practicing theatre was, from the point of vue of St Antoninus [the prior of San Marco’s convent], a fun way for children to acquire knowledge of the Scriptures and to meditate on the exemplary protagonists. The laymen who composed the sacre rappresentazioni have also in common (in most cases) to be close to the Medici family: they are craftsmen or state officials, and their private interests or their friendship led them to frequent the great men of the family. The Medici and the San Marco's convent: the sacre rappresentazioni evolve and, in some way, depend on these two poles of power. They condition their development; their transition from an oral form strongly bound to the occasion and its representation, to an erastz of pious literature, intended to be read and forgotten will depend on them too. The sacra rappresentazione has long generated the disinterest or contempt of criticism. However, it is an irreplaceable filter into the heart of the Florentine Quattrocento, in the heart of the society spirit, of modes of life, modes of think that seems to have stratified between the lines

Full textThe recent attraction of the French authorities for the development of the genetic medicine drew our attention. The establishment of the project "France genomic 2025” tends to place the genetic medicine in the center of the medical services. However, it engenders complex ethical and legal questions. The interest of the relatives to be informed in case of a serious risk for their health have raised wide debates. The protection of the health of these third parties in the patient—physician relationship enters in conflict with the patient’s right of confidentiality. French authorities were among the first to try to create a balance between those two interests. The objective of this analysis will be to identify the difficulties met by the parliament and to propose solutions to advance the French law in its research of creation of a just balance between the rights of the patients and the allies. This joint study of the French and foreign rights will lead us to propose the creation of a new tool of balance in the service of the public health
