The reasons of hearing disorder in children are studied. The neurologic and rheoencephalographic examination of 37 girls from the Medical and Pedagogical Center for children with hearing pathology aged 1011 is performed. The signs of unheavy lesion of the cervical part of vertebral column and brain are revealed in 18 children. The signs of circulatory insufficiency in vertebrobasilar basin are revealed on rheoencephalograms in these children. It is proposed that the reason of deafness in many children is the natal trauma of the cervical part of vertebral column and vertebral arteries.

Introduction: Scapular dyskinesis is commonly associated with subacromial pain syndrome (SAPS). Addressing scapular dyskinesis is widely accepted as an important component of shoulder rehabilitation. Our previous randomized controlled trial showed that Yi Jin Bang (YJB) exercises could effectively manage SAPS, but scapular motions and muscle activity during YJB exercises remain unknown. This study examined scapular kinematics synchronously with scapular muscle activation during YJB exercises. Methods: Thirty healthy participants with no shoulder complaints were enrolled in this study. Summary Assessment of hormone concentrations can be subjected to laboratory pitfalls. Macro-hormones are hormone–autoantibody complexes which are cleared slowly from circulation and cause a false elevation in hormones’ concentrations. Macro-prolactin and macro-thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH) are most frequently encountered while macro-follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) has been rarely reported. We describe the case of a 30-year-old woman who had a gynaecological consultation due to failure in achieving pregnancy after 8 months of unprotected intercourse. She had regular menses, did not compl

AbstractObjectivesHydroxychloroquine (HCQ) is an anti-malarial and immunomodulatory drug reported to inhibit the Corona virus, SARS-CoV-2, in vitro. At present there is insufficient evidence from clinical trials to determine the safety and efficacy of HCQ as a treatment for COVID-19. However, since the World Health Organisation declared COVID-19 a pandemic in March 2020, the US Food and Drug Administration issued an Emergency Use Authorisation to allow HCQ and Chloroquine (CQ) to be distributed and used for certain hospitalised patients with COVID-19 and numerous clinical trials are underway a
