Abstract:
Robot is a machine with a human-like behavior which partially or completely fulfills human function when interacting with the surrounding world. Robots are divided into three types: robots with the specific program of actions, operator-controlled robots and artificial intelligence robots. No doubt, that the development of new technologies had a great impact on medicine. At present, doctors can perform operations, which seemed impossible ten years ago. Robots have become indispensable medical assistants.

Today, more and more people question the treatment without surgery. Thanks to modern research and the efforts of scientists a new possible way to use nano-robots was invented. The first thing to know about nanorobots in medicine is that they're not like the robots you're probably imagining. Scientists who build nanorobots are building tiny packages that can complete tasks in an automated way.

For each system, ten new files were tested at each of the following eight taper/size designations for a total of 160 files: 20/0.04, 20/0.06, 30/0.04, 30/0.06, 30/0.08, 40/0.04, 40/0.06, and 40/0.08. Abstract:
Abstract:
This thesis examines one of the premier "big science" projects of the contemporary era - the globalised genetic mapping and sequencing initiative known as the Human Genome Project (HGP), and how Australia has responded to it. The study focuses on the relationship between the HGP, the biomedical model of health, and globalisation. It seeks to examine the ways in which the HGP shapes ways of thinking about health; the influence globalisation has on this process; and the implications of this for smaller nations such as Australia. Adopting a critical perspective grounded in political economy, t

Abstract:
When exploring the root canal flora, before and after treatment, it is crucial to eliminate bacteria from the tooth surface before entering the pulp. If not, bacteria from the surface might contaminate the root canal sample resulting in false information. When using molecular techniques, not only bacteria are to be eliminated but also DNA from bacteria to avoid contamination from the surface. The aim of the study was to examine if DNA from bacteria can be eliminated using a modified disinfection protocol. Samples from the tooth surface were taken from ten intact teeth stored in ethanol/ glycer

Atherosclerosis is an insidious disease with serious morbidity and mortality including ischemic heart disease, stroke, and myocardial infarction. This condition is progressive and can start early in life eventually leading to large plaques and arterial occlusion. Two key components of this process are the immune system and lipids; in particular, LDL which accumulates within the arterial walls and macrophages which recognize and engulf oxidized-LDL (oxLDL) to form foam cells.
