Abstract:
Simpodial Bali Bambu is a company that uses laminated bamboo as a furniture base. The company is located in Banjar Dinas Bengkel, West Selemadeg, Tabanan Regency, Bali. Through previous research, this effort uses a lamination technique to avoid powder lice, which is the main enemy of bamboo. Laminate itself is a transparent layer and is useful for protecting bamboo so that it is resistant to water, dust mites, and sunlight. A number of products that have been made by this business include chairs, tables and parquet from laminated bamboo. However, this company has problems selling its products. In addition, the management of financial transactions related to the company is still not structured so that the company's profit and loss is not clear. This community service activity aims to overcome partner problems, namely by providing a website as a promotional and educational media about laminated bamboo, providing website management training, and providing training to manage company finances using Microsoft Excel. Monitoring is done by monitoring the development of traffic on the website. Based on the evaluation results, this activity has a satisfaction index of 80.81% with a very good interpretation of the results.

Abstract:
From a microeconomic perspective, if we refer to a company as an economic agent, its organizational resilience/flexibility, in the unprecedented global economic context generated by COVID-19, is in the limelight, given that a resilient company would design and implement effective actions in order to increase the probability of its own survival. Assuming that a company's assets are those means by which a company can secure an income for a period of several years, since they are economic resources that can generate economic benefits in the future for the company that owns them, we have considered it appropriate to analyse the return on assets at the level of the companies in the HORECA sector. The comprehensive research undertaken is an empirical study in which we have analysed all the companies in the HORECA sector on the territory of Constanta County, located in the coastal area of the Black Sea, for a period of 3 years, 2018-2020, a period which includes the year of the onset of the SARS-COVID-19 pandemic. The selected economic and financial indicators have been fixed assets, current assets, prepaid expenses and net profit, with the help of which we have calculated and analysed the return on total assets. Of the many subgroups of the HORECA sector, the "Other Food Services" subgroup, which had the highest return on assets (ROA), proved to be the most flexible and creative subgroup. Catering specialists, exploiting the context generated by the closing of hotels and restaurants, have modified their business so as to amplify the intrinsic value of their products and to become a psychological and social connection for their consumers.

Abstract:
Introduction: Long-term data from the HAVEN 1-4 clinical trials reaffirmed the safety and efficacy of emicizumab (HEMLIBRA®) prophylaxis in persons with hemophilia A (PwHA; Callaghan M et al. ISTH 2019 presentation). However, early data from the first Phase III trial, HAVEN 1, identified a risk for thrombotic microangiopathy (TMA) or thrombotic events (TEs) when emicizumab was used alongside activated prothrombin complex concentrate (aPCC [FEIBA]; dosed on average a cumulative amount of >100 U/kg/24 hours for ≥24 hours) leading to a warning in the label and ongoing safety monitoring. European Haemophilia Safety Surveillance (EUHASS) is a large pharmacovigilance program that monitors the safety of treatments for inherited bleeding disorders. The EUHASS registry includes real-world data on the use of emicizumab in a broad, representative population of PwHA. The objective of this analysis was to summarize thrombotic, TMA, and anaphylaxis events reported to EUHASS in association with emicizumab prophylaxis. Methods: EUHASS is an investigator-led program with 86 participating centers in 27 countries, with centers reporting information on all the individuals they treat, thus minimizing selection bias. Adverse event data were collected from all PwHA in EUHASS who received emicizumab prophylaxis during 2018. EUHASS adverse event data are not collected according to Medical Dictionary for Regulatory Affairs (MedDRA) classification; however, for this exploratory analysis, events were coded at MedDRA preferred term level as far as possible; endpoints are provided as descriptive statistics. Results: Data from 148 PwHA treated with emicizumab in 2018 were included in this analysis. Concurrent treatments included recombinant activated factor VII (rFVIIa; NovoSeven®; n=23 PwHA), factor VIII, (FVIII products other than Obizur®; n=9 PwHA) and aPCC (n=1 PwHA). Two adverse events were reported in 2018 (Table 1). One event was an acute reaction (rash), reported 48 hours after dosing of a PwHA treated with emicizumab only. He recovered from the rash; the frequency was 0.7% (1/148; 95% confidence interval [CI] 0.02-3.71%). The second event was a TE-a myocardial infarction that occurred 10 hours after emicizumab dosing in a PwHA age >65 years receiving emicizumab and aPCC. The frequency of TE events was calculated as 0.7% (1/148; 95% CI 0.02-3.71%). No TMA or anaphylaxis events were reported. Conclusions: Among PwHA treated with emicizumab at centers participating in EUHASS during 2018, only two adverse events were reported and there were no cases of TMA or anaphylaxis. While a full assessment is reserved for the final analysis, these interim real-world data are not inconsistent with the adverse event profile of emicizumab observed in clinical trials. No new or emerging safety signals for emicizumab were identified. However, this analysis was limited by the low number of emicizumab treated PwHA-especially in those without FVIII inhibitors, and relatively short exposure time to emicizumab. Disclosures Shang: F. Abstract:
Subject. The article addresses the evaluation of components of synergetic effect in a holding company (corporation) having subsidiaries. These components are formed due to the cohesion and connectivity of enterprises of the holding company (corporation). Objectives. The aim is to determine the areas of functioning of the said enterprises, where a synergetic effect is formed due to their connectivity. Methods. We determined the connectivity of enterprises and the synergetic effect arising from it, using our original model of commodity-money flows in the integrated structure and at each enterprise. The main link of the model, which takes into account the connectivity of enterprises, is a system of equations for the cost of intra-group and market products shipped by enterprises of the holding group (corporation). Results. The paper identifies areas of enterprise functioning in the holding (corporation), in which a synergetic effect is formed due to their connectivity and cohesion. The synergetic effect of connectivity is defined as incremented results of economic activity of enterprises of the holding group or corporation that are generated by the connectivity. We use the Tulamashzavod case and provide specific examples of determining the synergetic effect of connectivity in the selected areas of operation of the holding group enterprises. Conclusions. The synergetic effect, which depends on the connectivity and cohesion of enterprises in a corporation with subsidiaries, manifests itself as a large-scale factor. It generates an increase in sales volume at the corporation's enterprises due to intra-group turnover, and enables to increase their competitiveness.

Abstract:

Customer churn prevention has been one of the most pressing concerns for telcos to tackle in the rapidly changing telecom business over the past decade, as the industry has faced increased market saturation and intense competition. Social media electronic word-of-mouth (e-WoM) offers telcos with insights into the consumer experience. Capturing preferences and views about products/services via text messaging might increase the recovery mechanism for clients who may churn. This study collects postings from social media forums concerning Taiwan’s top five telecom firms in order to perform an opinion analysis that is thought to be strongly linked with prospective churning consumers. To collect topic-sentiment information, we employ the doc-based Heuristics-N-Phrase-Rules technique. In this study, the sentiment score of negative terms is determined, and correspondence analysis is used to highlight the features and profiles of probable churn consumers. To validate its efficacy, we propose comparing the derived profile information to the telecom company’s lost consumers.

Abstract:
Currently, the company competes to maximize the role of technology in innovating and developing its business. One of them is PT Planet Ban Pasar Kemis in terms of promoting the latest tire products. In this case, researchers want to change the way Planet Ban promotes which has so far only used a 2D tire catalog by utilizing Android-based AR techniques. This makes it difficult for customers to understand the tire products of PT Planet Ban Pasar Kemis. But with AR, customers only need to scan 2D catalog images with Android to see the tire model into 3D form. The system development method used by researchers is the waterfall method where the sequence and steps of research have been structured by the condition of PT Planet Ban. As for System Analysis and Design, researchers use Unified Modelling Language or UML methods, while product design uses blenders and unity to apply 2D catalog images into 3D models. To measure the success rate of the application, researchers conducted a testing phase using the black box testing method with results that match the test scenario so that the application can be used according to the needs of the user.

Abstract:
A business must have or be able to generate enough cash and cash equivalent to meet its short-term liabilities if it is to continue and grow in business. Therefore, working capital management which helps an entity to, efficiently and effectively control current assets and liabilities is a key factor in the company’s long-term success; without working capital, the non- current assets will not function. The greater the extent to which current assets exceed current liability, the more solvent or liquid a company is likely to be. This paper observes the relationship between working capital management practices of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and the performance and profitability of these businesses in the Kumasi Metropolis , to evaluate inflows and outflows of inventory to determine the rate at which certain goods are purchased in relation to others. This practice will also help ascertain seasons and times during which certain products experience higher demand and vice versa. This will reduce their over and/or under investment in inventories. The implication of the findings is that the government of Ghana should pursue policies aimed at encouraging training and improving the managerial skills of SME owner/managers as well as creating the enabling environment for the development of improved modern technologies to transform the business processes of these vital industries.

Abstract:
We discuss how a short-range wireless communication service implemented for modern mobile communication devices can provide additional value for both the consumer and the service/product provider. When used as an information search tool, such systems allow services and products being promoted at the location they are available. For the customer, it may provide a “digitally augmented vision”, an enhanced view to the current environment. With data filtering and search rules, this may provide a self-manageable context, where the user's own personal environment and preferences to the features available in the current surroundings cooperate with a direct connection to the web-based social media. A preliminary design for such service is provided. The conclusion is that the method can generate additional revenue to the company and please the customers' buying process. In addition to the marketing, the principles described here are also applicable to other forms of human interaction.

Abstract:
Abstract Beamforming on the icosahedral loudspeaker (IKO), a compact, spherical loudspeaker array, was recently established and investigated as an instrument to produce auditory sculptures (i.e., 3-D sonic imagery) in electroacoustic music. Sound beams in the horizontal plane most effectively and expressively produce auditory objects via lateral reflections on sufficiently close walls and baffles. Can there be 3-D-printable arrays at drastically reduced cost and transducer count, but with similarly strong directivity in the horizontal plane? To find out, we adopt mixed-order Ambisonics schemes to control fewer, and predominantly horizontal, beam patterns, and we propose the 3|9|3 array as a suitable design, with beamforming crossing over to Ambisonics panning at high frequencies. Analytic models and measurements on hardware prototypes permit a comparison between the new design and the IKO regarding beamforming capacity. Moreover, we evaluate our 15-channel 3|9|3 prototype in listening experiments to find out whether the sculptural qualities and auditory object trajectories it produces are comparable to those of the 20-channel IKO.

The high value of regional minimum wages in Karawang Regency has triggered the desire of the workforce to work in the industrial sector as company workers domiciled in Karawang Regency. Klari Village as one of the villages located in Karawang Regency has also experienced a rapid population growth rate dominated by migrants from outside Karawang who wish to work in this sector. This is considered as a business opportunity, especially in the food sector, for several parties, due to the high level of public consumption in Karawang, thus encouraging the number of food products produced through a.k.a UMKM. But in fact, many entrepreneurs do not yet know the form of legal protection for their food product brands, which raises a polemic to maintain the originality of their products because there are many counterfeit food products, so they must be given an understanding. The service method used is Participatory Rural Appraisal (APR) by jointly analyzing life problems to increase community knowledge so that they can make plans and take real action. It is hoped that by providing an understanding of the importance of trademark registration, it can maintain product originality when there is business competition with the same product. Abstract:
The solution of the problem of forecasting the state of complex socio-economic systems is possible only on the basis of appropriate dynamic economic and mathematical models that describe their main parameters, the presence of control actions and risks. In this paper, it is proposed to use a deterministic minimax approach for modeling and solving the problem of estimating the predicted states of a production system in the presence of risks. To make managerial decisions at a manufacturing enterprise aimed at improving the efficiency of its functioning, it is necessary to have high-quality information support, the basis of which is the solution of the corresponding problem of predicting the states of its basic parameters. In this article, to describe the functioning of a production system, it is proposed to use a discrete-time controlled dynamical system in the presence of risks. It is assumed that the values of the control action (admissible control scenarios) are realized from a finite set of admissible elements of the corresponding finite-dimensional vector space, and the realizations of the values of the phase vector of the model and the risk vector are limited by the given compact polyhedrons in the corresponding finite-dimensional vector spaces. Application of the developed discrete-time controlled dynamical model that describes the output products of an enterprise in the presence of risks, and the developed methodology for the formation and minimax estimation of the predictive set of its phase states in a given period of time, allow us to develop appropriate numerical algorithms that can be used in the development and creation of computer intelligent information systems that provide support for making effective management decisions at manufacturing enterprises. The main results of this work is the development of a new economic-mathematical model that describes the dynamics of the output products of an enterprise in the presence of risks and the creation on its basis of a methodology for constructing and minimax estimation of the predictive set of its phase states in the form of implementing a finite number of one-step operations that allow their algorithmization. The results obtained in this work can serve as a basis for developing methods for optimizing the management of enterprise production processes and creating computer intelligent information systems to support managerial decision-making.

Abstract:
In order to ensure the growth of beef production, it is necessary to rationally use all available reserves and, fi rst of all, the allocation of intra-breed types and lines that ensure the improvement of herds and breeds of animals with high genetic potential under specifi c natural conditions. Therefore when breeding cattle of dual purposes breeds important role should be attached to the selection of animals of diff erent lines, body types, related groups that provide high fattening, and beef indicators with good adaptive traits. In relation with the above, it has been considered relevant to study the formation of beef productivity of steers of diff erent exterior and constitutional intra-breed types of Simmental breed with the determination of the energy and biological value of products under intensive rearing. As well as the infl uence of feeding conditions and maintenance of young animals of Simmental breed, taking into account the exterior and constitutional type, on the formation of live weight in the postnatal period, with a comparative assessment of the growth intensity depending on the body type. As a result of the research, the association between the live weight and the weight of the most active internal organs: heart, lungs, kidneys, which characterize the level and nature of metabolic processes that have a positive eff ect on the formation of beef productivity of experimental Simmental steers of domestic selection depending on the exterior and constitutional types. It has been found that to increase the production of high-quality beef, it is advisable to intensively rear Simmental steers of medium and compact types up to 18 months of age with a live weight of 460,2–517,8 kg, a carcass weight of 252,3–282,4 kg, a slaughter yield of 58,1–59,4 % and expenditures of feed of 3,7–4,0 thousand tons of EFU per 1 head.

Abstract:
Scientists today are intensively seeking alternatives to petrochemical materials. Among others, lignin is a promising candidate because it is available in large quantities while its chemical structure makes its use possible in a variety of chemical reactions. Lignin, received by numerous methods from various feedstocks, is a promising material for the synthesis of many products like active carbon, thermosetting and thermoplastic polymers, surfactants, phenolic chemicals, etc. In this paper, the potential of using Biolignin – a trademarked organosolv lignin from straw prepared by Compagnie Industrielle de la Matière Végétale (CIMV; Neuilly-sur-Seine, France) – in the synthesis of phenol-formaldehyde (PF) resins was studied by CHIMAR HELLAS S.A. (Kalamaria, Greece). Before its use, Biolignin was further purified and subjected to mechanical treatment for the reduction of its particle size in order to increase its reactivity. The effectiveness of the treatment was verified by atomic force microscopy (AFM) measurements that were carried out by SYNPO Company (Pardubice, Czech Republic). Resol phenolic resins were prepared with various substitution levels of phenol up to 80%. However, their synthesis process was smooth only up to the substitution level of 50%. The properties of the resins were determined with typical lab analysis. Their thermal behavior was studied with differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) measurements that were conducted by the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in Greece. Their bonding ability was evaluated by CHIMAR HELLAS via their application in the production of plywood panels of three layers that were prepared following a simulation of the industrial process. The panels were tested for their properties according to the relevant European standards, while their performance relative to fire was studied with cone calorimetry measurements that were performed by the Latvian State Institute of Wood Chemistry (LIWC; Riga, Latvia). All results were compared with that of a typical PF resin. It was found that the particle size of lignin affects the performance of the resins, while lignin-based PF resins are suitable for the production of plywood panels and have somewhat better performance relative to fire than typical PF resins. This study has been performed within the framework of the European project BIOCORE (biocommodity refinery for biofuels, chemical intermediates, polymers and materials).

Abstract:
Although Modular Construction (MC) is already known in Brazil mainly to due the fast construction of health facilities during the Covid 19 pandemic, very few developers and building companies have adopted it as an ordinary strategy. Previous studies do not focus on analysing how start-up companies can contribute to MC establishment in the country. This study aims to describe the journey of a local start-up company in adopting MC following a descriptive case-study approach. The findings suggest that the following drivers are crucial for the survival and success of a start-up MC company (i) the development of a variety of products that fits market segments and ensuring a minimal sale revenue regularly to pay fixed costs until it manages to capture investment to scale its business; (ii) taking into consideration it takes time and practice first on a smaller scale before going to larger projects, and multi-story modular buildings; (iii) training of skilled professionals and education on design and detailing on MC building technologies; (iv) standardization of building components, product and design to certain levels is inevitable.

Abstract:
TikTok is the international twin of China’s mobile short video app, Douyin, and one of the fastest growing short video platforms in the world. Owned by Chinese tech giant, ByteDance, TikTok and Douyin share many similarities in terms of appearance, functionality, and platform affordances; however, they exist in radically different markets and are governed by radically different forces. Unlike other popular mobile media platforms in China and internationally, TikTok and Douyin are neither part of the big three tech giants in China nor the big five in the US. This provides an interesting case study to investigate how an emerging internet company adapts its products to better fit divergent expectations, cultures, and policy frameworks in China and abroad. Using the app walkthrough method informed by platformization of culture production theory, this study highlights the similarities and distinctions between these two platforms. We argue the co-evolution of Douyin and TikTok is a new paradigm of global platform expansion that differs from strategies of regionalization adopted by previous major social media platforms. We contribute to platformization theory by developing the concept of parallel platformization to explain ByteDance’s strategies for surviving in two opposing platform ecosystems in China and abroad.

Abstract:
Fossil fuels are widely used all over the world to power the motor vehicles. Due to superfluous consumption of these fuels, their reservoirs are depleting continuously. The huge demand of crude oil has caused the unprecedented price rise, environmental pollution, and global warming which directly affects the living beings as well as the surroundings in which they are surviving. Alternative fuels can suffice the demand with less adverse effects on the environment through the means of different sustainable technologies. Hydroxy gas (HHO) can be effective source of energy to combat these prominent issues. This work covers the experimental analysis of different parameters related to advantages and disadvantages of using HHO as a blend with gasoline and CNG fuel mixture. The analysis is based on engine performance and emissions. The experiments were performed on engine model fueled with a mixture of fuel and HHO gas. HHO was used as a fuel supplement. A compact HHO gas kit was installed in the engine compartment. A 219cc, four stroke, single cylinder spark ignition engine was used. No modifications were required in the engine design as HHO was used as a fuel supplement. The production of HHO was accomplished by the electrolysis of double distilled water in the presence of KOH(aq.) as an electrolyte. Products of water electrolysis consisted of H2 and O2 in the ratio of 2:1 by volumetric basis. Performance enhancement in overall engine characteristics such as brake power, specific fuel consumption, and overall efficiency was observed. Furthermore, a significant reduction in the emissions of unburnt hydrocarbons, carbon monoxide, and carbon dioxide was noticed. However, due to lean air-fuel mixture and tremendous peak combustion temperature the amount of NOx was increased.
