The low value of students caused by wrong way teachers teach. Students tend to get bored inthe following subjects in school, because teachers who dominated the peroses learning. Thisresulted in students feel compelled to follow the lessons. This study aims to improve studentlearning outcomes in social studies class V SDN 007 Purnama Kota Dumai. Starting onJanuary 4 until January 12, 2012. The research was conducted on students of class V,totaling 26 people, 15 men, 11 women. This study consisted of two cycles, each cycleconsisting of two meetings. To find out the data of student learning outcomes in learningimplementation using throwing snowball method is to use a written test. As for knowing theactivities of teachers and students are using the observation sheet. The results of thediscussion stated that the activity of students in the first cycle of meeting I just 45.1% lesscategory, while the second meeting of the first cycle of student activity reached 59.2% are stillin the category of less, the first meeting of the second cycle increased to 68.7% still includethe category lacking in cycle II meeting II student activity rose to 86.9 good category. Andlearning outcomes in the first cycle of the first meeting in 1280 with an average of 50 includethe category less, learning outcomes in the first cycle II reached the number of meetings in1850 with an average value of 71.15 include the category enough. In the second cycle ofmeeting the learning outcomes of 2095 amounted to an average of 80.3 including goodcategory. In the second cycle II meeting in 2116 rose an average value of 81.38 bothcategories thus be seen that by throwing a snowball learning model can improve studentlearning outcomes in social studies learning class V SDN 007 Purnama Kota Dumai.

Abstract:
This article aims to describe the application of Think Pair Share (TPS) cooperative learning models to improve students 'mathematical connection abilities on derivative material. The mathematical connection indicators in this study are (1) the ability of mathematical connections between mathematical topics, (2) the ability of mathematical connections with other subjects, (3) the ability of mathematical connections with problems in daily life. This research is a class action research (CAR) conducted in class XI-G4 SMA Negeri 5 Malang in two cycles. The first cycle was carried out in five meetings, four meetings for the implementation of learning and one meeting for the final test of the first cycle. Whereas in the second cycle held in five meetings, namely four meetings for the implementation of learning and one meeting for the final test of the second cycle. The results of the research showed that an increase in students' mathematical connections from cycle I to cycle II was indicated by an increase in the grade average and the percentage of completeness in class learning. The classical average in cycle I was 82.79 and increased by 8.56 to 91.35 in cycle II, and the percentage of completeness in cycle I was 70.59% from 34 students and increased by 11.76% to 82.35% of 34 students in the second cycle.

Abstract:
The article is devoted to the issues of automation of servicing the meetings activities which include its preparation, holding and real-time recording. The article proposes a method for conducting and record-ing meetings, regardless of the meeting topic, its language and area of use. The formation and applica-tion of the meeting protocols in the proposed method differs from previous solutions. The meeting pro-tocol is formed from the initial protocol and is displayed in a compact and convenient form on the ad-ministrator's control panel as a meeting plan that can be adjusted and supplemented under the adminis-trator’s control. During the meeting the administrator can change the agenda presented in the meeting plan. In the course of the meeting, its plan and a corresponding text document known as «a protocol» are synchronously supplemented by the objects of discussion that are flexibly constructed during the discussions and were described in previous works. The text document – «protocol» – is formed both at the beginning and during the meeting, and can be used on any PC in the local network regardless of the time and the day when the meeting is to be held. The proposed approach can be used to conduct unreg-ulated ad hoc meetings in SM systems. Owing to the capabilities of the proposed software shell, a «cur-rent» application for the meeting servicing is created from the text documents prepared for the current meeting. The proposed method can be applied in various fields: education, medicine (including tracking of epidemics), military, etc. Moreover, each unique application without the participation of a program-mer will be created from the texts prepared by an appropriate specialist, and the applied method will en-sure the synchronization of the protocols of various processes. In terms of its capabilities, the proposed method for the meeting servicing is comparable to a popular system Meeting King, but this method, in its turn, allows people to conduct and record meetings in any language, and use it to support and log other processes as well.
