O Distrito Federal está situado no Brasil Central, entre as coordenadas geográficas 15°30’-16°03’S e 47°19’-48°12’W, totalizando uma área de 5.783km². Sua vegetação abrange formas bem variadas, desde campos com plantas rasteiras, às vezes com arbustos e subarbustos, até florestas. A família Euphorbiaceae abrange aproximadamente 290 gêneros e cerca de 7.500 espécies. No Distrito Federal está representada por 22 gêneros e entre os mais representativos estão Croton L., Manihot Mill. e Sebastiania Bertol. O presente trabalho objetiva contribuir com a “Flora do Distrito Federal, Brasil”, através do levantamento das tribos Manihoteae Melchior e Dalechampieae Müll., baseandose em coletas de campo e na análise de materiais herborizados de coleções dos seguintes herbários: Embrapa Recursos Genéticos e Biotecnologia (CEN); Universidade de Brasília (UB), Instituto Brasileiro de Geografia e Estatística(IBGE), Jardim Botânico de Brasília (HEPH) e Instituto de Botânica de São Paulo(SP). As tribos Manihoteae e Dalechampieae são monogenéricas. O gênero Manihot é natural das Américas, com dois principais centros de diversidade, um localizado no Brasil (Minas Gerais, Goiás e interior da Bahia), com cerca de 80 espécies e outro no México, com cerca de 18 espécies. O gênero Dalechampia é natural dos trópicos, bem representado nas Américas com cerca de 100 espécies. No Distrito Federal foram identificadas quatro espécies de Dalechampia: D. caperonioides Baillon, D. humilis Müll. Arg., D. linearis Baillon, D. triphylla Lam., e 13 espécies e 1 variedade de Manihot: M. anomala Pohl, M. fruticulosa (Pax) Rogers & Appan, M. gracilis Pohl, M. hilariana Baillon, M. longepetiolata Pohl, M. nana Müll. Arg., M. nogueirae Allem, M. sparsifolia Pohl, M. pusilla Pohl, M. tripartita (Spreg) Müll. Arg., M. triphylla Pohl, M. tomentosa Pohl, M. violacea var. violacea Müll. Arg. e M. violacea var. cecropiifolia (Pohl) Müll. Arg., totalizando 18 táxons destas tribos no Distrito Federal. Oitenta por cento dos táxons foram observados no campo e coletados. Manihot nogueirae é endêmica da bacia do rio São Bartolomeu, M. hilariana, M. longepetiolata e D. triphylla estão sendo citadas pela primeira vez para o Distrito Federal. The Federal District is located in Central Brazil, within the geographical coordinates 15°30’-16°03’S and 47°19’-48°12’W, in an area of 5,783 km². The vegetation in the Federal District is very varied in form, ranging from dense grasslands, usually with a sparse covering of shrubs and small trees, to almost closed woodlands. The family Euphorbiaceae has approximately 290 genera and around 7,500 species, distributed in the tropical and subtropical regions of the planet. In the Federal District it is represented by 22 genera, among which the most representative are Croton L., Manihot Mill. and Sebastiania Bertol. This paper is to contribute to the Federal District Flora by identifying the Manihoteae Melchior and Dalechampieae Müll. tribes, based on field collects and on the analysis of vouchers from the foollowing herbaria: Embrapa Genetic Resources and Biotechnology (CEN); University of Brasília (UB), Brazilian Institute for Geography and Statistics (IBGE), Brasília Botanic Garden (HEPH) and Botanical Institute of São Paulo (SP). The tribes Manihoteae and Dalechampieae are monogeneric. The genus Manihot is natural from the Americas, with two main diversity centers – one located in Brazil (Minas Gerais, Goiás and inland Bahia), with around 80 species, and the other in Mexico, with around 18 species. The genus Dalechampia is tropical, well represented in the Americas with around 100 species. 18 taxa of these tribes were identified in the Federal District: four species of Dalechampia: D. caperonioides Baillon, D. humilis Müll. Arg., D. linearis Baillon D. triphylla Lam., and 13 species and a variety of Manihot: M. anomala Pohl, M. fruticulosa (Pax) Rogers & Appan, M. gracilis Pohl, M. hilariana Baillon, M. longepetiolata Pohl, M. nana Müll. Arg., M. nogueirae Allem, M. sparsifolia Pohl, M. pusilla Pohl, M. tripartita (Spreg) Müll. Arg., M. triphylla Pohl, M. tomentosa Pohl, M. violacea var. violacea Müll. Arg. and M. violacea var. cecropiifolia (Pohl) Müll. Arg. 80% of this taxa were observed at the field and collected. Manihot nogueirae is endemic from the São Bartolomeu river basin, M. hilariana, M. longepetiolata and D. triphylla are mentioned for the first time for the Federal District. Identifying keys, descriptions, illustrations and comments are presented.

Tendo como ponto de partida a leitura intertextual das obras Caim, de José Saramago, e Gaspard, Melchior et Balthazar, de Michel Tournier, encaradas à luz da Teoria da Carnavalização do filósofo russo Mikhail Bakhtin, procura-se estabelecer afinidades e antinomias passíveis de constarem na temática da revisitação subversiva de mitos bíblicos. Assim sendo, pretende-se concluir, nomeadamente, acerca da relevância do diálogo efetuado pelos autores em torno da verdade oficial e sua reinterpretação, ainda que insolente; da validade da viagem de iniciação, enquanto lenitivo, “via-sacra” e demanda de absoluta Plenitude, empreendida pelos heróis e pelos anti-heróis; do grotesco na representação carnavalesca do corpo e da vida terrena; da presença de um discurso narrativo fazendo uso de uma linguagem subversiva, onde grotesco, ironia e/ou paródia são percetíveis; dos valores morais e ética social a preservar versus crítica acérrima ao poder instituído; da queda do Homem e do confronto com Deus e suas imperdoáveis limitações “humanas”; da presença do binómio entidade divina/entidade mefistofélica e o modo como as várias vozes narrativas surgem articuladas. Concomitantemente, pretende-se comprovar que os textos de José Saramago e Michel Tournier, embora mergulhando no desmascaramento, “profanação” e aparente niilismo do Texto Bíblico, na dessacralização de um cosmos oficial e na adoção do riso e impertinência enquanto catarse, longe de provocarem a aniquilação do mito, antes concorrem para uma releitura profícua, pois repleta de pluralidade de significados, onde o Transcendente, por oposição à desilusão prodigalizada pela vida terrena, é objeto de revitalização; pretendendo autores, narradores e leitores, postos em diálogo polifónico, a não reiteração de modos perniciosos de “estar” e “ser”, mas um olhar lúcido e puro sobre o futuro da Humanidade.
Taking as a starting point the intertextual reading of Caim, work of José Saramago, and Michel Tournier’s Gaspard, Melchior and Balthazar, viewed in the light of Carnivalization theory of the Russian philosopher Mikhail Bakhtin, will be made an attempt to establish affinities and antinomies liable to be included in the theme of subversive revisiting biblical myths. Therefore, it’s intended to conclude in particular about the relevance of the dialogue accomplished by the authors around the official truth and its reinterpretation, even insolent; the validity of the journey of initiation, while soothing, "via-sacra" and demand of absolute fullness, undertaken by the heroes and the antiheroes; the grotesque in the carnival representation of the body and earthly life; the presence of a narrative discourse making use of a subversive language, where the grotesque, irony and/or parody are noticeable; the moral values and social ethics to preserve versus the fierce criticism to the institutional power; the fall of Man and the confrontation with God and their “human” unforgivable limitations; the presence of the binomial divine/Mephistophelean entities and how the several narrative voices arise articulated. Concomitantly, it’s intended to prove that the texts of José Saramago and Michel Tournier, in spite of diving into the unmasking, "desecration" and apparent nihilism of the Biblical text, the desecration of an official cosmos and the adoption of laughter and impertinence while catharsis, far from causing the annihilation of myth, they compete for a fruitful reinterpretation, full of multiple meanings, where the Transcendent, as opposed to disappointment lavished by earthly life, is a revitalizing object; intending authors, narrators and readers, put into polyphonic dialogue, not the reiteration of pernicious ways of "being" but a lucid and fresh look on the future of humanity.

Abstract:
Dyggve Melchior Clausen (DMC) syndrome is an autosomal recessive skeletal dysplasia caused by mutations in the Dymeclin (DYM ) gene on chromosome 18q12-21. Affected individuals have multiple bony abnormalities and mental retardation.;The aim of this work was to elucidate the function of the DYM gene product (DYM) and determine the mechanisms by which mutation of the disease gene lead to cellular and clinical phenotype. Ten affected individuals from eight families were recruited to the study and five DYM mutations identified. These included two novel and complex genomic duplication/repetition events each predicted to result in a truncated transcript.;In-silico analyses of DYM suggest it encodes a transmembrane protein involved in protein sorting and targeting within the cell. The DYM transcript was shown by in-situ hybridization to be expressed at high levels in cartilage and brain, particularly in resting and hypertrophic chondrocytes. Sub-cellular localisation demonstrated the DYM gene product to be located within the endoplasmic reticulum.;Yeast two-hybrid analysis performed to detect DYM interacting proteins identified EGF-containing fibulin-like extracellular matrix protein (EFEMP1) and vacuolar protein sorting protein 25 (VPS25, human homologue known as EAP20). EFEMP1 is an extracellular matrix (ECM) protein and EAP20 a component of the endosomal sorting complex required for transport which acts in transport of transmembrane proteins for export and recycling.;Taken together, these findings indicate that DYM is an endoplasmic reticulum transmembrane protein required for cargo transport through the endosomal compartment. Abnormal chondrocyte differentiation and brain function occur in the absence of adequate functional DYM. Given that cartilage and brain both have substantial requirements for extracellular matrix, it is suggested that DYM contributes to the transport of components of the ECM.

Jean Melchior Wyrsch (1732-1798), portraitiste de talent, quitte en 1768 sa suisse natale pour s'installer à Besançon. Sa réputation vite établie au sein de la société comtoise lui attire une nombreuse clientèle. En 1771, il s'associe au sculpteur Luc Breton (rencontre à Rome en 1753 pendant les années d'apprentissage) pour fonder une école de peinture et de sculpture. En 1784, Wyrsch, sollicité par la ville de Lucerne pour prendre la direction d'un établissement semblable, quitte définitivement la Franche-Comté. Jean Melchior Wyrsch, essentiellement renommé pour ses portraits, a laissé aussi des compositions religieuses de qualité. Professeur dévoué à ses élèves, théoricien, il est aussi l'auteur de deux traités de peinture. Malgré ses origines suisses, il se situe dans la mouvance de l'école française de la fin du XVIIIe siècle.

Abstract:
Vršeno je istraživanje intestinalnih nematoda žutogrlog miša (Apodemus flavicollis  Melchior, 1834) uzorkovanog sa 18 lokaliteta na teritoriji Srbije, južno od Save i Dunava, sa ciljem proširenja i upotpunjavanja saznanja o ovoj komponenti parazitofaune glodara u ovom delu Evrope. Fauna nematoda crevnog trakta je analizirana sa više aspekata: kvantitativnog, aspekta zajednica, biološkog, aspekta biodiverziteta i aspekta polne strukture. Pored toga, ispitan je uticaj odabranihspoljašnjih i unutrašnjih faktora na prevalencu i abundancu parazitske infekcije.Zabeleženo je prisustvo devet vrsta intestinalnih nematoda, pri čemu je broj vrsta po lokalitetu varirao od 1 do 7. Ukupna prevalenca infekcije iznosila je 81,6%. Najčešće vrste u uzorku bile su Heligmosomoides polygyrus i  Syphacia stroma, koje suse odlikovale najvišim prevalencama i intenzitetima infekcije. Distribucija nematoda unutar domaćina je bila agregirana. Broj vrsta po domaćinu varirao je od 1 do 5, ali su najzastupljenije bile infekcije jednom ili dvema vrstama. Najčešća kombinacijavrsta bila je  H. polygyrus-S. stroma; međutim, odsustvo podataka iz ranijih istraživanja i adekvatnih polaznih modela sprečava donošenje zaključaka o mogućim interakcijama i asocijacijama između vrsta.Monoksene nematode su bile brojnije i imale veću prevalencu od heteroksenih nematoda, što oslikava  razlike u njihovim životnim ciklusima. Među monoksenim nematodama, geohelminti u užem smislu su se odlikovali najvećim prevalencama, a ageohelminti najvećom abundancom, u skladu sa životnim strategijama koje teže ka disperziji ili akumulaciji.Šenonov indeks diverziteta cele uzoračke populacije iznosio je 1,44 što je visoka vrednost u odnosu na one iz drugih delova Evrope. Nije uočena značajna negativna korelacija između udaljenosti lokaliteta i vrednosti Sorensenovog indeksa,ukazujući da je prostorni faktor značajan u strukturiranju zajednica intestinalnih nematoda i na lokalnom nivou. Odnos polova je bio neravnomeran, uglavnom u korist ženki, u skladu sa podacima drugih autora. Ženke su ujedno bile krupnije od mužjaka, saglasno sa ranijim nalazima za parazitske nematode. Nadmorska visina nije uticala na abundancu intestinalnih nematoda. Pol domaćina je uticao na prevalencu dve vrste: prevalenca  S. stroma  je bila veća kod mužjaka, a prevalenca Trichuris muris  kod ženki. Kao značajan faktor uticao je na abundancu samo kod vrste  Aonchotheca annulosa; abundanca ove vrste bila je veća kod mužjaka. Rezultati sugerišu da je uticaj pola domaćina na nivo parazitske infekcije izuzetno kompleksan fenomen.  Prevalenca i abundanca infekcije intestinalnim nematodama je bila veća kod domaćina sa B hromozomima.  Lokalitet je bio značajan faktor u variranju abundance nematoda. Uzrast i prisustvo drugih vrsta nematoda su  takođe ispoljavali značajan efekat. Povećanje abundance nematoda sa uzrastom  se vezuje za dužu izloženost starijih jedinki parazitima. Iako je registrovan uticaj abundance jedne vrste na abundancu druge, on ne predstavlja čvrst dokaz za postojanje interakcija između vrsta.
A study of intestinal nematode parasites was conducted on the yellow-necked mouse (Apodemus flavicollis  Melchior, 1834) sampled from 18 sites from Serbia south of the Sava and Danube rivers. The aim of the study was to broaden and enrich the data on this category of rodent parasites in this part of Europe. The nematode fauna of the gastrointestinal tract was analysed from quantitative, community, biological, biodiversity and sex ratio aspects. In addition, selected extrinsic and intrinsic factors were tested for their influence on the prevalence and abundance of infection.Nine species of  intestinal nematodes were noted, 1 to 7 per site. Total sample prevalence was 81.6%. Heligmosomoides polygyrus  and  Syphacia stroma were the most common species, with the highest prevalence and intensity values. Nematodes were aggregated within their hosts. Infracommunity richness varied from 1 to 5, but infections with one or two species were most common. The most frequentcombination  of species was H. polygyrus-S. stroma, but in absence of prior research and adequate null models, conclusions of possible interactions and associations between species could not be drawn.Monoxenous nematodes were more abundant and prevalent than heteroxenous species, reflecting the differences in their life cycles. Of the monoxenous nematodes, geohelminths sensu stricto had the highest prevalence values, whereas ageohelminths were most abundant, with respect to their life strategies that favour either dispersal or accumulation. Shannon’s diversity index for the total sample was 1.44, a high value compared to those from other European based studies. A significant negative correlation between site distance and Sorensen index values was not found, implying that spatial factors have an important role in structuring intestinal nematode communities on a local scale. Sex ratio was generally female-biased, in agreement with data from other authors. In addition, females were larger than males, congruent with previous findings for parasitic nematodes.Elevation did not significantly influence intestinal nematode abundance. Host sex influenced the prevalence of two species: for S. stroma prevalence was higher in males, and for Trichuris muris in females. Influence of host sex on abundance was found only for Aonchotheca annulosa, with abundances of this parasite higher in male mice. The results suggest that the effectof host sex on parasite infection levels is a highly complex phenomenon.  Infection prevalence and abundance was higher in hosts that carried B chromosomes. Site was a significant factor in explaining variations in nematode abundance. Hostage and presence of other nematode species  also exibited effects.  An increase in nematode abundance with host age  is explained by prolonged exposure to parasites in older host individuals. Although results indicate that the abundance of one species influences the abundance of another, this is not firm evidence of the existence of species interactions.

Le Roman russe d’Eugène-Melchior de Vogüé paraît au bon moment. À la fin du XIXe siècle, l’« horizon d’attente » de la France est plus que favorable à la réception de la littérature russe. Saturée et étouffée non seulement par le pessimisme consécutif à la défaite de 1871 mais aussi par le scientisme et le naturalisme, la société française ressent un besoin de renouveau dans tous les domaines de la vie. L’affaiblissement de la France sur la scène internationale fait de l’alliance avec la Russie un objectif politique prioritaire. Cette problématique nourrit aussi l’ambition de Vogüé de rapprocher les deux pays. « La pauvre vie spirituelle » de la France contemporaine incite le vicomte à accentuer le caractère chrétien de la littérature russe. Redonner à la France ses valeurs chrétiennes d’autrefois – voilà encore une ambition du vicomte exprimée au travers du Roman russe.À sa parution, en 1886, l’ouvrage connaît un succès immédiat non seulement dans le milieu intellectuel mais également auprès du grand public. En important la littérature russe en France, Vogüé veut découvrir à ses compatriotes, en plus de son génie littéraire et culturel, les particularités de l’âme russe. The Russian Novel by Eugène-Melchior de Vogüé comes out just at the right time. At the end of the 19-th century «the horizon of expectation» in France is more than favourable to perceive Russian literature. Satiated and suppressed by the postwar (1871) pessimism, exultant scientism and naturalism the French society begins to feel the need for change in all spheres of life. The loss of position on the international scene makes the country seek for alliance with Russia which becomes the main political goal of France in this historic period. Soon it becomes one of the goals of the viscount’s literary works. Seeing spiritual poverty in contemporary France Vogüé gives emphasis to Christian nature of Russian literature. Bringing the country back to its original Christian values – that is the other goal of Vogüé embodied in The Russian Novel.Before the book comes out in 1886, it is a total success both among intellectuals and general public. Le périodique évoque lui-même sa production dans ses réflexions sur le journalisme (véracite, érudition, hiérarchisation, impartialité, esprit critique), sur les sources d'information, sur la liberté d'expression et la censure. L’abonnement de la cour d'Anspach offre un exemple de diffusion et de réception du journal. Le rédacteur fait de ses lecteurs des protagonistes du périodique : les rapports entre les intellectuels, le fait culturel et l'absolutisme éclairé sous-tendent les articles concernant le mécénat, le voyage philosophique des princes à Paris ou la littérature de rationalisation de l'Etat. Au crépuscule des Lumières, comment évoquer 1776 et 1789 dans le périodique littéraire de l'absolutisme éclairé ? La guerre d'indépendance américaine apparait comme une révolution réussie, mais dans un pays neuf et lointain. Le syndrome de Dyggve-Melchior-Clausen (DMC) et la dysplasie de Smith-McCort (SMC) sont deux maladies génétiques rares qui se manifestent par des anomalies squelettiques identiques. Les patients DMC développent, en plus, une microcéphalie associée à un retard mental. Le gène impliqué dans ces deux dysplasies, DYM, a été identifié en 2003 et code la DYMECLINE, une protéine golgienne, capable de s'échanger entre l'appareil de Golgi et le cytosol dont la fonction est inconnue. Les objectifs de ce travail ont été de valider la souris déficiente pour Dym comme modèle de Patteinte cérébrale du syndrome DMC et d'exploiter ce modèle afin d'avancer dans la compréhension du rôle de la Dymecline dans le cerveau. Nous avons montré que, comme chez l'homme, la perte de fonction de la Dymecline entraine le développement d'une microcéphalie progressive. Nous n'avons pas décelé d'anomalies majeures de la structure corticale ni de diminution du potentiel prolifératif des progéniteurs neuraux ou d'augmentation de l'apoptose. En revanche nous avons mis en évidence une réduction de la surface de la substance blanche associée à une hypomyélinisation centrale. Au niveau cellulaire, les neurones présentent une fragmentation de l'appareil de Golgi et des anomalies de marqueurs vésiculaires. Par ailleurs, nous avons identifié une mutation de RAB33B chez un patient SMC. RAB33B code également une protéine golgienne qui jouerait un rôle régulateur dans le transport vésiculaire. Cette étude montre la pertinence de notre modèle pour étudier la microcéphalie associée au syndrome DMC et suggère un rôle de la Dymecline dans l'organisation du Golgi et le trafic vésiculaire
Dyggve-Melchior-Clausen syndrome (DMC) and Smith-McCort dysplasia (SMC) are rare autosomal recessive growth retardation disorders, which share identical skeletal features. DMC is systematically associated with microcephaly and mental retardation whereas SMC is not. A common responsible gene, DYM, was identified in 2003 and encodes DYMECLIN, a highly conserved protein that localizes to the Golgi apparatus and is able to shuttle between the Golgi and the cytoplasm but its biological function is unclear. The present work aims to determine whether the murine model deficient for Dym gene is relevant to study microcephaly in DMC and to provide insights into the function of Dymeclin in the brain. Results indicate that, as in humans, loss of Dymeclin function leads to progressive microcephaly. Although no major alteration in cortical organization was detected, we found a reduction of both the frontal cortex and the white matter. Proliferation and apoptosis were found normal in neural progenitors, but differentiated neurons display a fragmented Golgi apparatus and synaptic vesicles anomalies. In addition, we observed a reduced thickness of myelin sheaths in the corpus callosum. We have also identified a homozygous loss of function mutation in RAB33B in a SMC patient with no mutation in DYM, showing that SMC may be caused by mutations in either gene. Of interest, RAB33B is a small GTP-binding protein localized to the Golgi apparatus and known to play important roles in vesicular transport. This study indicates that the Dym mouse is a relevant model for studying the DMC microcephaly and suggests a role for DYMECLIN in Golgi homeostasis and vesicular trafficking

As alterações ambientais originadas pela sociedade são quase tão antigas quanto a existência do ser humano. Desse modo, junto com o crescimento demográfico e o alto grau tecnológico observou-se que os impactos ambientais se tornavam mais intensos. Devido a isso, a partir do século XX, surgiu uma maior preocupação por parte das autoridades competentes. Para tanto, organizações não governamentais e sociedade civil uniram-se na discussão da implementação de políticas públicas voltadas tanto para o planejamento quanto para a gestão ambiental de bacias hidrográficas. O presente trabalho buscou determinar o nível de qualidade ambiental da bacia do Rio Melchior, DF, Brasil. Para isso, foi desenvolvido um modelo para identificação do nível de qualidade dessa, com alternativas e critérios do meio físico e saneamento da bacia. Os referidos critérios e alternativas do modelo passaram por um processo de julgamento de pesos por meio do método multicritério Analytic Hierachy Process (AHP) com auxilio do Software Expert Choice versão 3.01. Na elaboração do produto temático um mapa do nível de qualidade ambiental da bacia utilizou a operação conhecida como álgebra de mapas, que faz uso de funções matemáticas com constante escalar ou o simples uso de uma operação aritmética. As operações algébricas com os mapas foram feitas de acordo com os pesos definidos e estabelecidos pelo AHP. Os resultados da integração do AHP e Sistema de Integração Geográfica (SIG) mostraram que as variáveis relacionadas ao meio físico (uso do solo, pluviosidade, pedologia e declividade) saneamento (água, esgoto e lixo) permitiram conhecer o Nível de Qualidade Ambiental. No resultado final o Mapa de Qualidade Ambiental da Bacia, observou-se que 56 % da área total da bacia foi classificada com o nível de qualidade ambiental média e alta, locais de preservação ambiental e parque, 32 % nula e baixa, áreas urbanizadas com e sem infraestrutura e 12% classificada como muito alta, áreas próximas a córregos e nascentes de preservação permanente. Dessa forma, as variáveis apresentadas no estudo são eficientes para diagnosticar a fragilidade da bacia e fornecer indicativos para a tomada de decisão no âmbito do processo de planejamento e de gestão territorial de Bacias Hidrográficas.
Environmental changes caused by the society are almost as old as human existence. Thus, along with the demographic growth and high technological level, it is been noticed that environmental impacts have become more powerful. As a result, from the twentieth century on, a greater concern on behalf of the competent authorities have emerged. Non-governmental organizations and civil society have joined to initiate a discussion on public policies both for planning and for managing environmental of watersheds. This study sought to determine the level of environmental quality of the Melchior river basin, DF, Brazil. In order to attain this goal, it was developed a model to identify the quality level of the Melchior river basin, with options and criteria on physical and social environment of the basin. The model’s criteria and options went through a weights trial process, specifically the multi-criteria Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method with the aid of Expert Choice Software, version 3.01. during the thematic product preparation, a map of the environmental quality level of the basin used the operation known as map algebra, which makes use of mathematical functions with constant climbing or the simple use of arithmetic operations. Algebraic operations with maps were developed in accordance with the weights defined and established by the AHP. The results of the AHP integration and Geographic Integration System (GIS) revealed that the variables related to the physical environment (land use, rainfall, soil conditions and slope) sanitation (water, sewer and garbage) enabled the identification of the Environmental Quality Level. The Environmental Quality Basin map’s final result showed that 56% of the total basin area was classified in the range from medium to high environmental quality level, environmental preservation and park sites, 32% null and low urbanized areas and without infrastructure and 12% were classified as very high, areas near streams and springs of permanent preservation. Thus, the variables presented in the study are efficient to diagnose the fragility of the basin and provide indications for decision-making within the planning process and land management Watershed.

Para llegar a la construcción del Colegio de Bachil leres se realizó un análisis de la metodología establecida por la Direc ción General de Planeación y Estadística Educativa para la creación de un Colegio de Bachilleres en la localidad de San Lorenzo Tenopalc o, municipio de Melchor Ocampo, Estado de México. Con base a lo anterior, el objetivo general del presente trabajo es: Construir un Colegio de Bachilleres en la localidad de San Lorenzo Tenopalco, municipio de Melchor Ocampo, Estado de M éxico, con base a la metodología de la Dirección General de Planeació n y Estadística Educativa de la Secretaría de Educación Pública.
En el municipio de Melchor Ocampo la falta de equip amiento educativo de nivel medio superior obliga a los jóvenes egresados de secundaria a trasladarse a otros municipios en busca de continua r con sus estudios de bachillerato. Derivado de la demanda existente y la falta de capa cidad instalada para cursar estudios de bachillerato en el municipio de Melchor Ocampo, Estado de México, se requiere la construcción de un Colegio de Bachilleres en este municipio.
