The genus Holophris Mocsáry, 1890 of the tribe Elampini (Chrysidinae) is reviewed in Vietnam for the first time. A new species, H. melinh Nguyen & Wiśniowski, sp. nov. is described and illustrated, and two species, H. taiwana Tsuneki (1970) and H. thailandica Rosa, Wei, Notton & Xu, 2016 are newly recorded. An updated key to all species of the genus known from Oriental region is presented.

Se muestra las diferencias volumétricas al utilizar cuatro sistemas de medición de trozas provenientes de plantaciones forestales de Gmelina arborea (melina), Acacia mangium(acacia) y Terminalia ivorensis (termi-nalia). Se evaluaron 416 trozas distribuidas así: 294 trozas de melina, 97 trozas de acacia y 25 trozas de terminalia. Los diámetros oscilaron entre 11,5 cm y 37,9 cm para la primera especie, 17,2 cm y 31,2 cm para la segunda y 22,3 cm y 48,9 cm para la tercera. Three species of the pagurid hermit crab genus Pagurixus Melin, 1939, are reported from Europa Island in the Mozambique Strait, western Indian Ocean: P. haigae Komai & Osawa, 2007, P. annulus n. sp., and P. europa n. sp. Pagurixus haigae is recorded from the western Indian Ocean for the first time. Pagurixus annulus n. sp. and P. europa n. sp. are referred to the P. boninensis (Melin, 1939) species group and P. anceps (Forest, 1954) group, respectively. Diagnostic characters of these two new species are discussed.
