The pattern of microdeletions of the long arm of the Y chromosome in the AZFb region was determined among 165 men with infertility. AZFb deletions were found in 25 % of them, of which complete AZFb deletions (P5/proximal P1, P4/proximal P1) accounted for 22 %, partial AZFb deletions — 3 %. AZFb+c deletions in 75 % of patients, of which complete AZFb+c were 98 %, partial AZFb + complete AZFc were 2 %. Breakpoints allowed us to clarify the size and localization of deletions capturing the palindromic region of the Y chromosome for 55 samples.
