A one pot oxidative polymerization technique is used to synthesize copolymer Poly [(thiophene-2, 5-diyl)-copara methoxy benzylidene]. In this technique we used catalyst POCl3 and 1, 4 dioxane solvent for copolymerization of para methoxy benzaldehyde with thiophene. One pot method takes around 24 hours. Doped copolymer was synthesized in presence of 0.2gm cobalt acetate. Catalyst is removed using ammonia. Products are obtained using menthol. Optically active polymers are of great interest as materials for dense enantioselective membranes, as well as chiral stationary phases for gas and liquid chromatography. Combining the versatility of norbornene chemistry and the advantages of chiral natural terpenes in one molecule will open up a facile route toward the synthesis of diverse optically active polymers. Herein, we prepared a set of new chiral monomers from cis-5-norbornene-2,3-dicarboxylic anhydride and chiral alcohols of various natures. Recently amylose has drawn much attention as a potential vehicle for the nanoencapsulation of different flavor molecules, and the encapsulation efficiency of the complex is an important index for the evaluation of its embedding effect. In this study, three different methods for assessing encapsulation efficiency of amylose-flavor complexes were compared. We chose heptanol and menthone as the flavor molecules, as both of them exhibit a typical odor. The complexes were prepared by the melting method, and their structures were characterized by XRD. Aromatic plants represent about 0.7% of all medicinal plants. The most common are peppermint (main active ingredient: menthol) and chamomile (main active ingredient: luteolin), which are usually consumed in “tea bags” to make infusions or herbal teas. Abstract The success or failure of cement plugs are known to alter the timeline of an oil well; not to mention the additional costs and NPT associated with the rig activities. Unsuccessful cement plug costs oil companies considerable amount of capital both in extra rig time and service company expenses. Suggested procedures for placing cement plugs have been presented in number of papers - comprising of slurry design, spacer recommendations, laboratory testing and placement techniques. However, it is very easy to deviate from these standard practices due to over confidence, negligence or both.

The presence of granular osmophilic material (GOM) deposition in the smooth muscle cells of vessel walls is the pathological hallmark of arteriopathy in CADASIL.
