Combining three complementary approaches, nonrelativistic constituent quark model, Regge phenomenology, and meson-meson mixing, we obtain the mass relations which relate different meson multiplets. With the help of known meson masses, these relations can be used for the prediction of unknown meson states masses. The utility of this new analysis technique is applied for the scalar meson and results in a possible allocation scheme for the ground scalar meson.

Using a generalized mean field theory, we have studied relations among effective meson masses, effective meson–nucleon couplings and equations of state (EOS) in asymmetric nuclear matter. If the effective ω-meson mass becomes smaller at high density, the EOS becomes stiffer. This article provides brief information about melon varieties, presents the results of testing promising breeding varieties of the Bykovskaya experimental station. As a result of three-year research, promising new high-yielding (up to 25.7 t/ha) melon variety ‘Katyusha’ was identified. The average fruit weight over three years reached 2.8 kg. Tasting score was 4.5 points. According to our studies, 2019 was the most favorable year for the cultivation of melon variety ‘Katyusha’, since it exceeded the yield of standard one during the years of research. We studied the use of the secondary cellulose and biodegradable polymeric film for soil mulching on the summer sowings of the melon variety Strelchanka. We noted the efficiency of the use of mulching material in levelling out the temperature fluctuations, protecting the root system of plants from overheating and in developing the favorable conditions for soil moistening.
