The aim of the submitted semestral project is research of 3D scanning object methods. The 3D scans utilization and types of these scans have been mentioned in the first chapter. The scanners are grouped into two basic methods – contact and contactless. The second chapter is dedicated to 3D model measurement principles, which are described in detail in four sub-chapters. In the following chapter is described design with complete realization 3D scanner with the implementation of the application for its controlling. Last part of the thesis concerns the 3D model editing and method evaluating.

The goal of this diploma thesis is design and implementation of an application for automated measurement of objects in augmented reality. It focuses on automating the entire process, so that the user carries out the fewest number of manual actions. The proposed interface divides the measurement into several steps in which it gives the user instructions to progress to the next stage. The result is an Android application with ARCore technology. Is capable of determining the minimal bounding box of an object of a general shape lying on a horizontal surface. Measure error depends on ambient conditions and is in units of percent.

This master's thesis deals with development of mobile app for measuring the range from the preceding vehicle in traffic using visual-based methods. This paper describes implementation of computer vision algorithms of detection and tracing objects, detection of horizon on desktop and mobile devices. Also deals with visual-based range measuring without any other mechanisms. The output of the work is implemented detectors of vihicles and horizon using OpenCV library on the Windows platfom and draft of user inerface of a mobile phone aplication on the Android platform.

Práca sa zaoberá objavujúcim sa nekonvenčným využitím moderných teodolitov, tiež známych ako Robotické Totálne Stanice (RTS), ako sledovací a navádzací systém, určením presnej pozície dynamicky sa pohybujúceho objektu. To sa týka najmä situácií, kde nie je možné využiť konvenčné polohovacie systémy akým je napríklad GNSS. Kinematicky určená poloha objektu kontinuálne sledujúcou RTS môže byť následne v reálnom čase využitá pre autonómnu navigáciu malých bezpilotných leteckých prostriedkov (UAV) poskytnutím referenčného súradnicového systému a okamžitej polohy v ňom. Podstatná časť práce je venovaná návrhu a realizácii vhodných experimentov, ktoré overia spoľahlivosť určovania presnej polohy objektu v presnom časovom okamžiku. Boli preverené stanice série S7 a S9 od spoločnosti Trimble a stanica S9 HP, ktorá disponuje frekvenciou kontinuálneho merania až do 10 Hz bola napokon využitá pre experimenty. Lokálny čas ovládacieho panelu TSC7, ktorý zabezpečuje komunikáciu so stanicou bol pomocou protokolu PTP synchronizovaný s lokálnym časom mini-počítača Raspberry Pi, ktorý následne poskytoval referenčné meranie skutočnej polohy objektu v čase. V závere sú zhrnuté výsledky experimentov.

The subject of my thesis is a design of the methods optimizing, the acquisition of MR signals when small objects measure. The thesis is divided into several parts in order to give a deeper knowledge of the problem. The first part focuses on the theory associated with NMR (Nuclear Magnetic Resonance) and SNR (signal-to-noise ratio). The practical verification of the theory follows. The conclusion of this work is focused on MR images filtering by use of wavelet transform to suppress a noise in the image. The method optimization of MR acquisition parameters for the measurement of small objects is then distributed to the entire work.

The objective of Master’s Thesis is to research the utilization of line optical sensors for object location´s and speed measurement in cooperation with PROTOTYPA company. At the beginning of the Thesis there is an explanation of CCD sensor components and photodiods working principals. Further are discussed particular methods of object sensing. There are schematics of different sensor locations and flying object. The other step deals with introduction to the question of ray impact on sensor in the way of using different light sources and optical systems. In the other part of the Thesis are presented two sensors, which have been chosen by PROTOTYPA company workers. Final part of the Thesis deals with description of executed experimental measurement with LCCD 2048S-14 type of sensor. Experiments are aimed for statical and dynamical processes. In statical part was checked displaying of fixed objects on CCD sensor in internal spaces on the assumption that changing of object-lens focalization, object´s high and shape. For the evaluation was used of MATLAB program. Dynamical part of measurement is aimed for moving objects.

Measurement of effect of L-carnitine by ergospirometry Summary The intention is to determine the effect of L-carnitine on fatty acid metabolism. Values like volume of utilized oxygen, performance and respiratory quotient were chosen for evaluation. The study is a randomized and placebo-controlled. The testing was performed on a treadmill with gas sensing device Cortex Metalyzer 3B and sporttester Polar RS 400. The measurement was adjusted compared to the pre-set test program. The reason was detecting a change in fatty acid metabolism, which takes place under aerobic conditions and starts later. Participants were recreational and performance athletes. Paired t-test and percentage change were used for evaluation. There was no change in the volume of utilized oxygen, performance and respiratory quotient. This study does not match with the majority of similar trials, which indicate the reduction of the respiratory quotient, reduced lactate levels, markers of increased oxidation of fatty acids and the other markers of aerobic metabolism.

The aim of this thesis is to innovate NCL 07 unit made by NAM system a.s. The new device is intended to have improved parameters and diminished dimensions. It should be fully comparable to similar products on market. In the first part there are described features and individual circuits of NCL07 unit. Further there is done an analysis to suggest modifications leading to reduce proportions of DPS and to enhance other parameters including SW design improvement. Theoretical part deals with selection of main measured values and methods of verification of measurement accuracy. There is also described theoretical basis used in the oncoming sections of the thesis. In the practical part there are presented procedures of designs of innovated product. In the conclusion there will be made testing of new unit and results will be compared to competitive commodities.

Determination of the extent and state of a limb edema is based on information about its current volume. There are a number of methods for volume measurements. The theoretical part of this semestral thesis discusses the etiology, classification and principles of volume measurements and basic information about ultrasound and stepper motors. The practical part consists of a design of own device for a contactless limb volume measurement with ultrasonic module. It consists of a code for a microcontroller which controles the whole system including the computational operations and a real model of the system.

This thesis deals with object tracking in video sequence. It focuses on studying of one object´s motion in static background. Motion is defined by its direction and its speed. It was created 3 operators in RapidMiner to determine it. The operator called AccumulativeDifferenceImage searches a trajectory of motion by technique of accumulative difference image. Operator called OpticalFlow is created to describe type of motion and to find size of location´s transition. The operator called SpeedMeasuing is used for determining of speed, it calculates speed of object by using input´s binary masks in meters by second. In theoretical part of thesis are described the types of segmentation´s methods, basic types of block matching algorithms, attributes of video sequences and problem of recording of motions. In practical part are described implementations of every operator, the testing video sequences and showed results of tests for every operator.

The first part of this work is about history of infusion technology, specially about recent developments in electronic infusion devices. Then, there are described basic principles of infusion pumps and syringe pumps. The second part introduces safety features of infusion technology. An occlusion alarm is one of them. There is described a method of measurement that verifies the functionality of this alarm in two instruments of different producers with various settings. Data obtained by this method are statistically processed and the results discussed.

My paper work deals with the 3D active triangular method of building reconstruction. First, there was a measuring triangular system created. Then the way of its automatic calibration was proposed and consequently also performed. Also algorithms for the automatic detection of the sample projected were proposed. Algoriths were presented with several sample buildings. The result of these algorithms are 3D models of individual buildings. In the end achieved results nd restrictions of the system proposed were assessed.

The master’s thesis describes hardware opto-electronic instruments for contactless measurement of surfaces. It concentrates on instruments used for opto-electrical transformation of a taking scene and software processing of digital pictures. It presents selected methods of pre-processing, segmenting and following final modifications of these pictures. Then it deals with measuring of areas of surfaces and sizes of selected objects in these pictures and conversion of results from pixels to SI system of units. Possible divergences of measuring are described as well. A flow chart of a program for automatic and manual measuring of surfaces and sizes of objects in a picture, which is commented in detail, is a part of the thesis. The main product of this thesis is application Merovo, which provides measuring of an area and proportions of included objects. This application is analysed and described in detail in this thesis.

Master’s thesis is focused on making the acquaintance of EMC issues and ways of electromagnetic field scanner RS321 utilization for pre-compliance measurements. First part contains analysis of available equipment’s influence on measurement results on the basis of gathered specification. Next part includes an example measurement used as operational manual for scanner and its controlling program. The most important part is correction evaluation for performed EMI measurement of signal generator using its EMC certification protocol and application of gained correction curve on independent EMI measurement of device tested by EMC testing laboratory. Other possibilities of scanner utilization are mentioned in the next chapters. Last part of the thesis contains suitability evaluation of EMC scanner on the basis of findings from performed measurements.

Abstract:
This thesis describes application of image processing for precise distance measurement in self acting production of a tip for AFM microscopes. The main goal is to measure distances between assembly parts during fabrication process. The purpose is to acquire a data for self acting assembly line which have to substitute inaccurate and nonrecurring manual assembly process. The assembly process consists of three technological steps. In first two steps the tungsten wire is glued to the cantilever. Distance measurement is necessary in all axes for proper alignment of parts. In third step the sharp tip is etched by KOH solution. The right distance between liquid level and the cantilever must be kept. A camera with high resolution and macro objective is used to acquire an image. Camera image is then calibrated to suppress distortions and scene position with respect to camera position. Length conversion coefficient is also computed. Object recognition and distance measurement is based on standard computer vision methods, mainly: adaptive thresholding, moments, image statistics, canny edge detector, Hough transform… Proposed algorithms have been implemented in C++ using Intel OpenCV library. The final achieved distance resolution is about 10µm per pixel. Algorithm output was successfully used to assembly few test tips.

The issue this master’s thesis discusses the cooling synchronous machines. Specifically, the calculation of cooling induction motor using the finite volume method. Using Autodesk Inventor will create a 3D model of a real electric machine, ie asynchronous motor and then ANSYS WORKBENCH perform system analysis CFX, based on the finite volume method. Furthermore, we realize the air speed measurements on a particular machine and the individual results obtained by measuring and calculating the actual compared with each other. The master’s thesis also deals marginally with closely related to it. For the same machine model, we apply the calculation of the temperature fields using the finite volume method and them perform a thermal analysis. Next, we can carry out the measurement of the temperature on the motor itself and calculate the measured values and the measured compare each other.

Medical diagnostics using computed tomography or magnetic resonance is a common part of complex medical checkup for a long time. These devices produce vast volumes of data, which must be analyzed by an expert physician. There is a big space for utilising computers to aid medical diagnosis, or visualization. This work aims to measure volume of a specific organ in the human body, like kidneys or spleen. To measure volume of the organ it is necessary to reconstruct the object from three-dimensional data. Reconstruction is based on segmentation of the image data, which separates reconstructed organs from the background. The task of segmentation is specially adapted to this kind of data, which are, from specimen to specimen, characterized by big similarity in common shape, but also by big heterogeneity in tiny details. Deformable models were chosen as a primary tool for the segmentation of three-dimensional volumes. They are also the main topic of this work. Programs measuring volume in medical data exist, but thanks to increasing performance of modern computers it is possible to implement new algorithms, which are not present in today's software tools. The thesis deals with the detection of thermal bridges of the building envelope of SCHOTT s.r.o. and MANNTECO s.r.o. The aim of this diploma thesis is the experimental verification of thermal defects and anomalies of peripheral structures of buildings. The qualitative infrared thermography method is used to ensure the results. The results of the experimental measurement revealed thermal defects and anomalies on the peripheral shells of the measured objects. The acquired thermograms are evaluated. With regard to the measurement results, construction operations are proposed, which are suitable for the elimination of thermal defects and anomalies of the building envelope.

This thesis deals with gamma-ray field of size-limited uranium objects and with possibilities of their localization by a field radiometric measurement. The gamma-ray field attenuates progressively with distance from the ground source of radiation. The applied method of radiometric survey plays an important role in localization of a radioactive object. The gamma- ray field of uranium anomalous objects was studied for variable signatures of ground anomalous objects and different methods of gamma-ray survey by using mathematical modelling. The method of modelling was derived from fundamental theoretical laws describing the gamma-ray field of a point source. The verification of applied mathematical modelling was carried out by the comparison of calculated model of the gamma-ray field at three real uranium anomalous objects with experimental data of ground and mini-airborne measurement. Mini-airborne measurement was realized by the prototype of a gamma spectrometer Georadis D230A. This instrument is characterized by relatively high sensitivity compared to previously used similar devices. Airborne platform was a hexacopter Kingfischer. This thesis focuses on the problems with determining the dimensions of the timber during the processing with the harvesters. This study discusses all the possible variations in measurements, their origin and a resulting impact on the volume of the timber. Furthermore, this thesis describes other methods of measuring timber, such as manual measurement or measuring by sensing proportions of the timber with a saw measuring frames. The emphasis is on the variances in the calculation formulas, particularly focused on the differences in setting the reading bark. The research is supported by two measurements in the field, more specifically on the spruce vegetation. During these field measurements we performed the cuts with harvesters on the amount of 6 trees which were subsequently transported to the sawmill for the standard electronic checks. The log performed with the harvesters were afterwards measured twice for the purposes of precise volume measuring.
