Abstract:

The article develops the theoretical and methodological principles of messenger marketing, forms its scheme and proposes the main stages for use in the practice of business entities. It is noted that messenger marketing has become a trend in recent years and involves the use of messenger tools to better interact with the target audience to promote the company or its products and services. As a messenger tool, you can consider a wide selection of content that should be sent to users: videos, images, texts, animations, etc. In Ukraine, the most popular messengers are Viber, Facebook Messenger, Skype, Telegram, WhatsApp and others. A messenger marketing scheme has been developed, which includes processes in the sales department, processes in messengers and traffic channels. The processes in the sales departments of the companies are defined, which include the construction of the CRM-system and the payment system, the site and the work of the sales managers. The main processes in messengers - funnels, chatbots and mailings are considered and given a brief description. The main stages for effective use of messenger marketing in practice are proposed, including the choice of messengers for communication with customers, the choice of a platform that will help automate communication, as well as collect data and segment and connect to this platform, integration of messengers with CRM-system. The main tasks of messenger marketing are defined: automation and optimization of managers’ work, which makes it possible to minimize the response time to the application, qualification of potential customers (leads), optimization of advertising costs. The next step in solving this problem should be to reach a new level of communication with customers through messenger marketing. In the future, CRM-marketing is worth to be emphasized, when different channels and CRM-systems work, chatbots are created, which are actively beginning to integrate.

Abstract:

With the development of Internet technologies, chat environments have migrated from PCs to mobile devices. Conversations have moved from phone calls and text messages to mobile messaging services or “messengers,” which has led to a significant surge in the use of mobile messengers such as Line and WhatsApp. However, because these messengers mainly use text as the communication medium, they have the inherent disadvantage of not effectively representing the user’s nonverbal expressions. In this context, we propose a new emotional communication messenger that improves upon the limitations of existing static expressions in current messenger applications. We develop a chat messenger based on augmented reality (AR) technology using smartglasses, which are a type of a wearable device. To this end, we select a server model that is suitable for AR, and we apply an effective emotional expression method based on 16 different basic emotions classified as per Russell’s model. In our app, these emotions can be expressed via emojis, animations, particle effects, and sound clips. Finally, we verify the efficacy of our messenger by conducting a user study to compare it with current 2D-based messenger services. Our messenger service can serve as a prototype for future AR-based messenger apps.

Abstract:

The article is devoted to the substantiation of messenger marketing as an independent direction and a specific tool in the management of the company’s online reputation (Online Reputation Management – ORM). On the basis of the empirical method of the included observation (five-year author’ experience of practical activity on online marketing), the analysis of professional materials on a research subject, studying of the content of official messengers’ blogs and features of messengers’ functioning, the expediency of messenger marketing separation has been justified, the concepts of “Messenger Reputation Management – MRM” and “Instant Messaging Reputation Management – IMRM” have been proposed. The basic possibilities and features of using messenger marketing as a practical tool to support and control the positive online reputation of the company, which in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic and the rapid development of social networks and messengers acquire new qualitative value in achieving performance, have been revealed. It was found out that the tools of the messenger marketing that can be used to monitor the situation, as well as to broadcast and moderate messages, including Hidden Marketing (HM), include working with voice rooms, with comments and feedback in channels, groups, and chats, use bots and chatbots, newsletters and even targeted advertising. It has been noticed that at present it is difficult to identify the optimal tools for solving the problems of marketing messenger in ORM, which necessitates additional research. At the same time, effective messenger marketing requires an appropriate corporate culture, built on the highest degree of freedom, trust, and responsibility, which allows the employee to independently and quickly make tactical decisions and respond to changes in the information field within the established competence.

Abstract:

This article objective is providing methodological guidelines on Telegram messenger using by educational process participants in the context of e-learning. The problem analysis is focused on examination of opportunities for messenger tools and technologies in interacting with users. The procedures of messenger using by teachers as part of e-learning are systematized. The trend for messenger using expansion as a tool for fast communication and monitoring task execution in e-learning is described. Methodological guidelines for teachers on using Telegram messenger for improving the educational organization efficiency in e-learning have been developed. The theoretical significance of the results lies in summarizing Russian and foreign experience in messenger гising for e-learning purposes. The necessity of using messengers in educational activity arrangement is justified. The effectiveness of their use is well-grounded.

Abstract:

Telegram and Viber are the most popular mobile messengers nowadays. Unlike other products, such as WhatsApp or Facebook Messenger, these messengers allow their users to restrict access to messages stored on the device − in Telegram it is access protection using a PIN code, in the Viber there is hidden chat functionality, also protected with a PIN code. This article presents a practical attack that allows to bypass the security functionalities implemented by the developers of both solutions. The paper presents the methods to increase the security of the mentioned software in a way that it can be implemented in the Android operating system. Abstract:

Background: The rapid development of telecommunication technology has prompted the creation of various messenger applications. The competition among social messengers to gain market share is becoming tighter. Objective: This study aims to capture user preferences for messenger platforms and inform software development companies to improve their products based on user needs. Methods: This research uses quantitative methods, i.e., categorical analysis and multiple linear regression analysis, to extend the results from qualitative methods that identify the preferences in past studies. The data were obtained through a questionnaire. Results: The results show that customers are influenced by accessibility, flexibility, effectiveness and chat history. Meanwhile, users are influenced by responsiveness, user-friendly interface, performance, personal needs, privacy and security, and customer services. Conclusion: The research can identify the indicators to guide the creation of an ideal messenger platform based on customer and user preferences. Abstract:

Of endocrine cascades and messenger systems, the authors conducted this study involving two series of experiments. The pattern of interaction of hormones and secondary messengers while adapting to high-altitude was clarified in the first series. The response of phosphoinositide to exogenous epinephrine was examined in the second series. The experimental data are represented as primary mean values ± standard deviations. Two phases of activity of the hormonal system are shown. These are the excitation of the hypothalamopituitary cascade and the enhanced production of glucocorticoids and catecholamines during early adaptation and the return of activity of the hormonal system to the baseline values by day 14 of adaptation. By that time the rearrangements in the phosphoinositide messenger system consists in increasing the proportion of polyphosphoinositides in the total membranous fraction of inositol-containing phospholipids, in adrenalectomized animals to a greater extent. The above events give rise to new coordination relations between hormones and secondary messengers. It is concluded that that the phosphoinositide messenger system is involved in the formation of defense mechanisms the reduce the destructive effects of large amounts of epinephrine.

Abstract:

Recent studies into the mechanisms of action of the Ca2+-mobilizing messenger NAADP (nicotinic acid–adenine dinucleotide phosphate) have demonstrated that a novel family of intracellular Ca2+-release channels termed TPCs (two-pore channels) are components of the NAADP receptor. TPCs appear to be exclusively localized to the endolysosomal system. These findings confirm previous pharmacological and biochemical studies suggesting that NAADP targets acidic Ca2+ stores rather than the endoplasmic reticulum, the major site of action of the other two principal Ca2+-mobilizing messengers, InsP3 and cADPR (cADP-ribose). Studies of the messenger roles of NAADP and the function of TPCs highlight the novel role of lysosomes and other organelles of the endocytic pathway as messenger-regulated Ca2+ stores which also affects the regulation of the endolysosomal system.

A reduced implementation of the protocol was developed for the spacecraft due to various system constraints and operational requirements. The software operates in conjunction with the playback features of the MESSENGER flight software allowing for the autonomous downlinking of files as well as providing for the management of the file system by the mission operations team. This paper presents the software implementation, metrics, and the lessons learned.

Messenger applied at three timely applications at early runner, bloom, and fruiting stages of watermelon versus bi-weekly applications, showed no significant statistical differences for vine length, number of blooms, or harvestable yields. Visual observations for the watermelon plant health at the end of the season tended to indicate that the three timely applications resulted in slightly more vigorous plants than the bi-weekly treated watermelon plants. Cantaloupe vine growth, number of fruit set, yield weight, and fruit size were not different between Messenger treatments and were not enhanced compared to the untreated check.

Abstract:

In this thesis, <i>in situ</i> hybridisation histochemistry was the principal technique applied to the study of a number of specific species of messenger RNA (mRNA) in tissue from normal and diseased post-mortem human brains. Gs and Go are members of the heterotrimeric G protein family whose members are crucial to cellular responsiveness. APP and Goa mRNA levels were found to be reduced in the dentate gyrus of AD sufferers in comparison to controls and were positively correlated in this region irrespective of diagnosis. The APP gene is encoded on chromosome 21 and APP mRNA levels are increased in Down's syndrome in keeping with the 50% increase in gene dosage associated with trisomy 21 (Tanzi <i>et al.</i> 1987). Increased APP mRNA levels are postulated to be responsible for the early appearance of the pathological stigmata of AD in individuals with this condition. However, a comprehensive analysis of APP mRNA levels in the hippocampus and visual cortex of diseased and control brains concluded that increased APP mRNA levels are not a feature of AD. An increase in the ratio of potentially amyloidogenic KPI-encoding, relative to KPI-lacking, APP mRNA transcripts was documented with age in the visual cortex of diseased and control brains. Further, the major determinant of this ratio differed between the visual cortex and the hippocampus. Ubiquitin is a highly conserved member of the heat shock protein family essential to ATP-dependent non-lysosomal proteolysis. Ubiquitin mRNA, when expressed as a proportion of polyadenylated mRNA, was increased in the visual cortex of individuals diagnosed as suffering from borderline AD in comparison to the other diagnostic groups studied. The implications of the above findings in relation to the pathogenesis of AD and the challenges inherent in the application of biomedical research techniques to the study of a uniquely human disease like AD, using human post-mortem brain tissue, are discussed.

Abstract:

cl+ is an important intracellular messenger with a role in a wide range of processes. Ca2 + is normally maintained at a very low concentration on the cytosol, but in order to generate a signal, its concentration may be increased by influx through channels in the plasma membrane, or by means of release from intracellular stores. Release of Ca2 + from intracellular stores may be initiated by ci+ itself, or by a Ca:!T-releasing second messenger such as inositol 1,4,5-trisphosphate. Another such Ca2+-releasing second messenger is the recently discovered nicotinic acid adenine dinucleotide phosphate (NAADP). The second messenger functions of NAADP have thus far been defined onlv in a limited munber of model tissues. This thesis aims to develop a versatile and sensitive method for measuring changes in NAADP levels in a \vide variety of cell and tissue types. This method is then used to address a munber of outstanding questions \\1th regard to the physiological functions ofNAADP. The sea urchin sperm model system is used to investigate possible steps in the transduction cascade and the synthesis pathway for NAADP. The first data regarding a possible function for NAADP within the speml is also presented. The possible fimction ofNAADP as a second messenger bas then been investigated in two mammalian tissue types. Changes in NAADP levels in response to extracellular agol1ists are measured in cardiac ventricular and neuronal tissues, providing important insight into exactly which receptor types use NAADP as a part of their intracellular transduction cascade. For example, stimulation of dopamine D2-like, but not DJ-like receptors produces an increase in NAADP. The development of two new chemical tools, NAADP-AM and Ned-14 is also detailed. These are the first cell-permeant compolUlds to he identified for NAADP. Ned-14 is an antagonist of the NAADP receptor with an IC50 of 2 J.!M. As such, it is hoped that their use will allow much more rapid and definitive elucidation of the pathways of NAADP-mediated Ca2+signalling than has previously been possible.

Active Messenger, a software system, makes it easier and more efficient. Today, there are a multitude of communication devices and channels available to exchange messages. However, each of these devices and channels has different capabilities. Additionally, the location of a user is often unknown. Current systems that decide where to send a message in a heterogeneous communication environment are complicated to customize and inefficient. The Active Messenger improves this situation. The Active Messenger is an agent that is capable of taking several steps over time to guarantee the delivery of a message, trying multiple channels and awaiting possible user reactions. It infers the location of the user by looking at her communication history and communication behavior. If a message arrives in the user's inbox, the Active Messenger decides if it is important by looking at user-specified rules, as well as correlating it with recent messages, the user's calendar, and her address book. Depending on the importance of the message and the inferred location of the user, the Active Messenger decides where to send the message, possibly to several devices in turn, monitoring the reactions of the user and the success of the delivery. For example, if a reply comes back shortly after a message is sent to a two-way capable device, the Active Messenger assumes that the user has read the message. If the primary communication device used provides no back-channel information, the Active Messenger infers whether the message has been read by monitoring other channels shortly thereafter. Depending on the status of the sender defined by the user, the Active Messenger may also give feedback to the sender about the user's location and communication behavior. The goal is to make the Active Messenger easily configurable. Abstract:

In Taiwan, instant messenger usage has become the third most frequently engaged online activity following web cyberspace’s web surfing and e-mail. Among different kinds of instant messengers, Windows Live Messenger (WLM) is the most popular software program. The purpose of this study is to explore users’ name-display behaviors on WLM from a self-disclosure perspective. The study employs phenomenological methodology to elicit lived experiences of using the name-display feature in the WLM. Twelve subjects, 3 women and 9 men, participated in this study. From 12 verbatim transcripts, after identifying significant statements, clustering the formulated meanings resulted in 9 themes. The key findings are: (1) Self-disclosure behavior exists in the name-display feature in the instant messenger; (2) Participants revealed disclosure topics to achieve self-expression purpose; (3) Social support occurred when participants identified other online users’ nicknames; (4) Participants revealed their nicknames for social validation; (5) Self-disclosures would not reveal messages that provoke threats; (6) In order to create a certain desired impression, participants would manipulate the disclosure messages; and (7) Silent self-disclosure with verbal forms is participants’ preference in cyberspace.

Aim 1: To determine levels of this second messenger in: a) B. melitensiscyclic-dimericguanosinemonophosphate-regulating mutants (BMEI1448, BMEI1453, and BMEI1520), and b) B. melitensis16M (wild type) and mutant infections of macrophages and immune competent mice. (US lab primary) Aim 2: To determine proteomic differences between Brucelladeletion mutants BMEI1453 (high cyclic-dimericguanosinemonophosphate, chronic persistent state) and BMEI1520 (low cyclicdimericguanosinemonophosphate, acute virulent state) compared to wild type B. melitensisto identify the role of this second messenger in establishing the two polar states of brucellosis. (US lab primary with synergistic assistance from the Israel lab Aim 3: Determine the level of Brucellacyclic-dimericguanosinemonophosphate and transcriptional expression from naturally infected placenta. (Israel lab primary with synergistic assistance from the US lab). B. Background Brucellaspecies are Gram-negative, facultative intracellular bacterial pathogens that cause brucellosis, the most prevalent zoonosis worldwide. Brucellosis is characterized by increased abortion, weak offspring, and decreased milk production in animals. Humans are infected with Brucellaby consuming contaminated milk products or via inhalation of aerosolized bacteria from occupational hazards. Chronic human infections can result in complications such as liver damage, orchitis, endocarditis, and arthritis. Brucellaspp. have the ability to infect both professional and non-professional phagocytes. Because of this, Brucellaencounter varied environments both throughout the body and within a cell and must adapt accordingly. To date, few virulence factors have been identified in B. melitensisand even less is known about how these virulence factors are regulated. Subsequently, little is known about how Brucellaadapt to its rapidly changing environments, and how it alternates between acute and chronic virulence. Our studies suggest that decreased concentrations of cyclic dimericguanosinemonophosphate (c-di-GMP) lead to an acute virulent state and increased concentrations of c-di-GMP lead to persistent, chronic state of B. melitensisin a mouse model of infection. We hypothesize that B. melitensisuses c-di-GMP to transition from the chronic state of an infected host to the acute, virulent stage of infection in the placenta where the bacteria prepare to infect a new host. Studies on environmental pathogens such as Vibrio choleraeand Pseudomonas aeruginosasupport a mechanism where changes in c-di-GMP levels cause the bacterium to alternate between virulent and chronic states. Little work exists on understanding the role of c-di-GMP in dangerous intracellular pathogens, like Brucellathat is a frequent pathogen in Israeli domestic animals and U.S. elk and bison. Brucellamust carefully regulate virulence factors during infection of a host to ensure proper expression at appropriate times in response to host cues. Recently, the novel secondary signaling molecule c-di-GMP has been identified as a major component of bacterial regulation and we have identified c-di-GMP as an important signaling factor in B. melitensishost adaptation. C. Major conclusions, solutions, achievements 1. The B. melitensis1453 deletion mutant has increased c-di-GMP, while the 1520 deletion mutant has decreased c-di-GMP. 2. Both mutants grow similarly in in vitro cultures; however, the 1453 mutant has a microcolony phenotype both in vitro and in vivo 3. The 1453 mutant has increased crystal violet staining suggesting biofilm formation. 4. Scanning electron microscopy revealed an abnormal coccus appearance with in increased cell area. 5. Proteomic analysis revealed the 1453 mutant possessed increased production of proteins involved in cell wall processes, cell division, and the Type IV secretion system, and a decrease in proteins involved in amino acid transport/metabolism, carbohydrate metabolism, fatty acid production, and iron acquisition suggesting less preparedness for intracellular survival. 6. RNAseq analysis of bone marrow derived macrophages infected with the mutants revealed the host immune response is greatly reduced with the 1453 mutant infection. These findings support that microlocalization of proteins involved in c-di-GMP homeostasis serve a second messenger to B. melitensisregulating functions of the bacteria during infection of the host.

Abstract:

The article describes the process of developing a chatbot to provide students with information about schedules using the Telegram mobile messenger. During the research, the following tasks have been performed: the analysis of notification systems for their use in the educational process, identification of problems of notifying students about the schedule (dynamic environment, traditional presentation of information, lack of round-the-clock access), substantiation of the choice of mobile technologies and Telegram messenger, determination of the requirements to the software, generalization of the chatbot functioning features, description of the structure, functionality of the program to get information about the schedule using a chatbot. The following tasks have been programmatically implemented: obtaining data from several pages of a spreadsheet (faculty / institute, red / green week, group number, day of the week, period number, discipline name, information about the teacher); presentation of data in a convenient form for the messenger (XML); implementation of the mechanism of convenient presentation of data in the messenger (chatbot). Using Python and the Telegram API, the software has been designed to increase students; immediacy in getting the information about the schedules, minimizing the time spent, and optimizing of planning of student activities and higher education institution functioning.
