Abstract Laboratory medicine is under constant pressure from changes in the operating environment. Organisational changes and tendering processes have led to a trend towards shorter turn-around times and more cost-effective choices. Analysis tools that were previously only available at research laboratories, such as the mass spectrometer and polymerace chain reaction (PCR), have now made their way to university hospital laboratories and even mid-sized laboratories. Organisational changes have increased the need to monitor the pre-analytical steps. The specimen can be drawn from the patient in

Gypsum rich soils are found in many parts of the world, particularly in arid and semi-arid regions. Most gypsum occurs in the form of evaporites, which are minerals that precipitate out of water due to a high rate of evaporation and a high mineral concentration. Gypsum acts as a weak cementing material and has a moderate solubility of about 2.5 g/liter. Abstract:
Pure rotational spectra of the rare isotopologues of titanium oxide, (TiO)-Ti-46, (TiO)-Ti-47, (TiO)-Ti-49, and (TiO)-Ti-50, have been recorded using a combination of Fourier transform millimeter-wave (FTmmW) and millimeter/submillimeter direct absorption techniques in the frequency range 62-538 GHz. This study is the first complete spectroscopic characterization of these species in their X-3 Delta(r) ground electronic states. The isotopologues were created by the reaction of N2O or O-2 and titanium vapor, produced either by laser ablation or in a Broida-type oven, and observed in the natural

Abstract:
Malignant lymphomas are a group of cancerous diseases that develop from lymphocytes and primarily affect lymph nodes. Being the sixth most common cancer type in Sweden, lymphoma is a societal problem that needs to be tackled by improving care and treatment of patients. This study was designed to examine the blood cell composition in lymphoma patients and well as determine whether the use of cryopreserved cells affected the analysis outcome. An evaluation of the methods used was also performed. Frozen peripheral blood from lymphoma patients as well as fresh and frozen blood from healthy control

Abstract:
No<br>The aim of this review was to examine whether the measurement of lactate in capillary blood samples using point-of-care handheld analysers corresponds sufficiently closely with arterial and venous whole-blood samples analysed by hospital central laboratory or blood gas analyser to be used interchangeably. A systematic search, informed by focused inclusion/exclusion criteria, was performed using multiple databases up to October 2015. A total of 65 articles were considered to have potential relevance and were evaluated in full text, of which ultimately five articles met all inclusion/ex

The purpose of this study is to provide a description of how mathematics teachers in grades 3 choose to work with mathematics and how it affects of student performance in national tests. The categories I will use are outdoor education, textbooks, learning materials and problem solving. Laboratory materials can be everyday materials and educational materials in which pupils have an abstract understanding of the subject. This survey was conducted through interviews and observations. The survey was also conducted in relation to student performance in national math tests. Educators believe that na
