Abstract:

I denna studie undersöks metaforbruket och metonymibruket i sju broschyrer från Försäkringskassan. Det som undersöks är om broschyrerna innehåller oetablerade metaforer och metonymier, och om det i så fall finns några mönster i användningen. Resultaten visar att det förekommer ytterst få metaforer och metonymier i materialet: endast tre belägg hittades. Två av dessa finns dock i broschyrernas avslutningar, vilket kan bero på att dessa avsnitt handlar om hur en läsare kan agera, medan övriga avsnitt har en informerande funktion. Uppsatsens syfte är att undersöka hur Frida Stéenhoff använder stilfigurerna metafor, liknelse och metonymi i sitt debutdrama, Lejonets unge. Utgångspunkten är föreställningen om att de ersättande stilfigurerna används vid tabubelagda ämnen och genom att göra en diskursanalys vill jag se om det stämmer. La relativa sistematización de la actuación de la metonimia, siendo un procedimiento creativo para la renovación semántica del léxico, es el punto de partida de esta Tesis, que propone un modelo de seguimiento de la repercusión de la metonimia sobre el léxico del español actual. This study examines the translation of an adventure travel guide from English to Swedish, focusing on the translation of conventional metaphors, original metaphors, metonymy and similes, with special attention to conceptual metaphors. The results show that most of the metaphors are reproduced in the target text, along with most of the metonymic segments and all similes.
