The external metric of the ball with a charge on the surface, as a solution to the Einstein-Maxwell equations, depends on three independent parameters - the surface radius, the charge and the gravitational radius of the ball, which is equal to the gravitational radius of a neutral non-rotating matter. The electric field exists only outside the ball, and its energy contributes to the metric with the same sign as the matter. Therefore, an increase in charge enhances gravity, increasing the magnitude of its effects (redshifts, orbital radii and shadows, etc.). The metric outside the spherical col

The EDR is very sensitive to the value of the temperature and its variation along the disk. The rotation of the star has a negative effect on the EDR; it decreases with increase in rotational ve

We point out that the reason for the violation of the first law in previous calculations was that the rotating Einstein universe, used as a boundary metric, was rotating with an angular velocity that depended on the black hole rotation parameter.

In this paper we show that the geodesic flow in a Hedlund-type metric on the 3-torus possesses the shadowing property. This implies, in particular, that any rotation vector is represented by a geodesic, a fact that in the two-dimensional case is given by the Aubry–Mather theory, while in the higher-dimensional case is still unknown.

Vaidya’s spacetime is the simplest non-static generalization of Schwarzschild’s solution to Einstein’s field equation. Vaidya metric represents radiating universe. With the aid of differential forms, various geometrical quantities related to Vaidya metric are obtained. We obtained the electrical parts of the Weyl tensor, it is found that they are related to the radial vector. We explored kinematic parameters in the terms of Ricci rotation coefficients. Also, we investigate behavior of general observer quantities at naked singularity r = 0.

Considering the Einstein gravity in the presence of Born-Infeld type electromagnetic fields, we introduce a class of 4-dimensional static horizonless solutions which produce longitudinal magnetic fields. Although these solutions do not have any curvature singularity and horizon, there exists a conic singularity. We investigate the effects of nonlinear electromagnetic fields on the properties of the solutions and find that the asymptotic behavior of the solutions is adS. Next, we generalize the static metric to the case of rotating solutions and find that the value of the electric charge depend

The unique spherically symmetric metric which has vanishing Weyl tensor, is asymptotically de-Sitter, and can model constant galactic rotation curves is presented. Two types of field equations are shown to have this metric as an exact solution. The first is Palatini varied scalar-tensor theory. The second is the low energy limit of string theory modified by inclusion of a contrived potential.

The standard metrics outside of charged and rotating sources (Kerr-Newman in general, Reissner-Nordström and Kerr in particular) contain the total mass at infinity, which includes both the mass of a neutral non-rotating body and the mass equivalents of rotational and electric field energies. Therefore, the total mass is related to other parameters of the metric - angular momentum and charge. However, at studying the dependence of gravitational effects on parameters, this relationship was ignored, assuming total mass to be constant at varying angular momentum and charge. This error led to physi

A novel point-to-point scan matching approach is proposed to address pose estimation and map building issues of mobile robots. Polar Scan Matching (PSM) and Metric-Based Iterative Closest Point (Mb-ICP) are usually employed for point-to-point scan matching tasks. However, due to the facts that PSM considers the distribution similarity of polar radii in irrelevant region of reference and current scans and Mb-ICP assumes a constant weight in the norm about rotation angle, they may lead to a mismatching of the reference and current scan in real-world scenarios. In the control-based approach of medical treatment of various illnesses such as diabetes mellitus, certain angiogenic cancers, or in anesthesia, the starting point used to be some “patient model” on the basis of which the appropriate administration of the drugs can be designed. The identification of the “patient model’s parameters” is always a hard and sometimes unsolvable mathematical task. Furthermore, these parameters have wide variability between patients. In principle, either robust or adaptive techniques can be used to tackle the problem of modeling imprecisions. In this paper, the poten

The first inflation stage of the Universe filled with a scalar field and an anisotropic fluid is considered.
