The aim of this paper is to evaluate the influence of a crystallizing chemical admixture on precast micro concretes with two water contents (7% and 11%, by dried mass) and two different conditions of exposure. Thus, precast micro concretes with a composition of 1:3 (cement: fines) with and without crystalline chemical admixture were evaluated on compressive strength (at the age of 28 and 154 days) and water absorption by immersion (at the age of 154 days). Statistical analysis showed that the only significant factor was the effect of the water content on the compressive strength. Besides that,

High-strength flowing concrete is made of large volume of gelled materials and high rate of sand, but low content of coarse aggregate and small grain diameter, which makes it easy to have a greater contraction, resulting in reduced strength and durability of concrete[4] .So the right amount of expansion admixture is needed to ensure that there is no shrinkage or micro-expansion of the concrete. Alkali activated fly ash is a widely used admixture to the concrete. Due to the pozzolanic activity, the fly ash can replace up to 60 mass percentage. The impact of fly ash on the concrete depend on the level of it content, i.e. in small levels it improves the macro-mechanical properties and durability as well as chemical resistance. On the other side, fly ash admixture negatively influence the set time and cause slow development of strength. Therefore, the effect of small fly ash admixture levels on the micro-structure of high performance concrete (HPC) is discussed in this study.

Because of the immobility of plants, pollen plays a major role in connecting extant populations while seeds are necessary to establish and maintain populations of plants. Despite the widespread use of next-generation sequencing platforms, co-dominant molecular markers, such as microsatellites, are still useful and informative tools in molecular ecology and conservation genetic studies. Abstract The use of biogas has currently two disadvantages. Firstly, processing biogas to natural gas quality for feeding into the natural gas grid is a rather energy consuming process. Secondly, the conversion into electricity directly in biogas plants produces waste heat, which largely cannot be used. Therefore, a feed-in of the desulfurized and dry biogas to local biogas grids would be preferable. Thus, the biogas could be used directly at the end consumer for heat and power production. The risks associated with zonal isolation being compromised come from different mechanisms, such as insufficient displacement efficiency, tubular corrosion, cement cracking, micro-annuli from hydration shrinkage or pressure changes as well as erosion. It is therefore important to understand how CO2, H2S and other factors interact with cement under downhole conditions. The cementing materials are important to the short- and long-term in
