Kona coffee, grown on the western side of the island of Hawai'i, is the most recognized and the highest value Hawaiian coffee. The majority of this coffee is sun-dried after harvest and washing. Hybrid striped bass (Sunshine Bass) were raised in an indoor recirculating aquaculture system incorporating concrete culture tanks, sump tanks, rotating biological contactors and liquid oxygen injection and underground U-tubes for aeration.
