In the last few decades, wheat-based products have received considerable attention in view of their potential role in transporting of microelements into the human diet. In Yemen, bread is the staple food, produced in different kinds from local and imported wheat. Most of it is not subjected to microelemental analysis. The objective of this study is to determine quantitatively the microelement such as Fe, Cu, Mn, Zn, Co, Cd and Pb in samples of wheat grains produced locally from different cultivated regions in Yemen as well as those imported from USA and Austria. Microelement deficiencies, often termed “hidden hunger”, represent a significant global health challenge. Optimal human health relies on adequate dietary intake of essential microelements, including selenium (Se), zinc (Zn), copper (Cu), boron (B), manganese (Mn), molybdenum (Mo), iron (Fe), nickel (Ni), and chlorine (Cl). In recent years, there has been a growing focus on vitality and longevity, which are closely associated with the sufficient intake of essential microelements. Abstract In this paper, we present an analytical and numerical solution of the Microelement Plastic Strain Accumulation (MPSA) model for rotating bending fatigue life prediction to investigate the effect of the spatial arrangement of heterogeneities and its associated scatter. The MPSA model is based on a modified Jenkin-Masing model, where the distribution of microscale heterogeneities in the material is captured using discrete uniaxial linear elastic-perfectly plastic microelements arranged in parallel. We employ this model to study monotonic stress-strain response, moment-curvature response

Abstract:
Athletes who take care of their health and want to be successful in sports take various vitamin and multimineral supplements, but most of them don't pay attention to traces of microelements found in human body. Studies state that 72 of them are needed in order for human to function properly. While only 8 microelements can be found in soil, and therefore in food, all of the 72 can be found in some type of seafood. Those who don't consume enough food of this kind can get their necessary doses of trace elements from multimineral supplements. The effects of microelements on the human body are grea

The use of waste as raw material to obtain commercially promising products allows us to solve a whole range of environmental, economic and social problems, especially during a crisis. The main share of unused waste consists of metallurgical waste, which can be a source of microelements for plants. Slag waste, due to its component composition, can also act as a soil degrader. The goal of the work is to create a technology for using dried blast furnace sludge alone or in combination with converter slag in agricultural production as a microelement fertilizer to increase the productivity of agricu

The article examined that soaking cotton seeds before sowing in solutions of various coordination compounds of microelements accelerates their germination energy and germination. The authors found that treating seeds with coordination compounds of microelements activates the energy of their germination and accelerates the germination of cotton seeds. Soaking seeds with microelements in optimal concentrations significantly activates the processes of hydrolysis of seed protein, changing the qualitative and quantitative composition of free amino acids. Geochemical research of the near-surface lithosphere and phytosphere in the west of the Siberian Platform were carried out. The results of spectral analysis of soils (660 samples) and vegetation (1300 samples) indicate a complex distribution of microelements depending on various natural and man-made factors. Various anomalies in soils for 11 microelements (Mn, Ni, Ti, Zr, Cu, V, Pb, P, Ba, Sr) were established, of which 8 complex anomalies were found in the areas of the Yurubchenskoye and Omorinskoye oil and gas fields. The geochemical field of microelements in the phytosphere has a complex mo

Hypothesis and Objectives: We hypothesized that coal combustion products (CCPs), including those created during scrubbing of sulfur dioxide from flue gases, can be used alone or mixed with composted animal manures as effective growth media for plants. Our specific objectives were, therefore, to (1) measure the chemical, physical and hydraulic properties of source materials and prepared mixes, (2) determine the optimum design mix of CCPs and composted animal manures for growth of plants, (3) evaluate the leachate water quality and plant uptake of selected elements from prepared mixes, (4) quant
