Objetivo: Avaliar a prevalência de M. canis e M. gypseum nas dermatofitoses em um laboratório de análises clínicas. Método: Estudo retrospectivo dos dados de culturas de fungos realizadas no período de janeiro de 2016 a março de 2022. Conclusão: Realizadas 4.407 culturas de fungos, sendo 165 (3,75%) positivas para o gênero Microsporum. Destas, 131 (79,40%) foram isolados Microsporum canis e 34 (20,6%), Microsporum gypseum.
