Bumi sedang menghadapi masalah pemanasan global yang besar sehingga membuat es di kutub mencair dan menambah tinggi muka air, juga mengurangi luas daratan. Dalam mengatasi masalah tersebut dibutuhkan suatu akses yang menghubungkan transportasi darat dan juga transportasi laut, jembatan bergerak merupakan solusi untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut. Jembatan bergerak memiliki banyak jenis, salah satunya adalah jembatan bascule, jembatan bascule adalah jembatan bergerak yang bergerak arah vertikal dan horizontal untuk memberikan akses kendaraan laut dan darat. Jembatan bascule ini menggunakan rangka batang yang biasanya digunakan untuk jalur kereta api, tetapi jembatan kali ini untuk jalur kendaraan beroda. Model Jembatan bascule dibuat dengan menggunakan program Midas Civil menggunakan wizard rangka batang yang bergerak vertikal dengan sudut 0º, 30º, 45º, 60º. Hasil dari analisis menggunakan program Midas Civil menunjukkan bahwa untuk jalur kendaraan beroda, jembatan bascule tipe rangka batang bisa digunakan dengan ketentuan seperti dalam penelitian ini dengan menahan tegangan dan defleksi akibat beban mati dan beban hidup. Kata kunci: Jembatan Bascule, Rangka Batang, Tegangan, Defleksi, Midas Civil. The earth is facing a big problem of global warming that makes the polar ice melt and increase the water level, also reduce the land area. In overcoming this problem, we need an access that connects land transportation and also sea transportation, moving bridges are a solution to overcome these problems. Moving bridges have many types, one of which is the bascule bridge, the bascule bridge is a moving bridge that moves vertically and horizontallyto provide access to sea and land vehicles. This bascule bridge uses truss which is usually used for railroad lines, but this time the bridge is for wheeled vehicles. The bascule bridge model was created using the Midas Civil program using steel wand truss that moves vertically with angles of 0º, 30º, 45º, 60º. The results of the analysis using the Midas Civil program show that for wheeled vehicle lines, the truss type bascule bridge can be used with the provisions as in this study by holding stress and deflection due to dead load and live load. Abstract:
To produce a quality bridge then it should be taken into account with the correct parameters and the condition of the bridge. One of the parameters is an important bridge natural frequency incurred due to dynamic loads. The purpose of this study was to conduct a comparative analysis of the natural frequency of bridge girder value measurement results in the field of natural frequency calculation results using Midas Civil programs and manuals, as well as knowing the value of the condition value of natural frequency of bridge between the actual value of natural frequency measurement results on the field and the value of natural frequency calculation program results Midas Civil. In the analysis, use design bridge gelagar PCI with a span of 21,95 meters. And bridge specifications will be made from the analysis of the natural frequency of the load calculation of structures with Midas program manual and Civil that would then be compared with the results of field measurements to find out the condition of the bridge. The natural frequency obtained from calculation manual for a bridge girder single of 5,95 Hz, and multi girder of 5,72 Hz.While value natural frequency of program midas civil for singles girder of 6,16 Hz, and for multi girder of 5,93Hz.

Abstract:
The purpose of this research is to gain a broader understanding in analysing bridges that are built in stages. With Incremental Launching Method, bridges are casted in segments behind one of the abutments and launched over piers. Therefore, this method has little effect on surroundings and much efficient for constructions of highways or railroad lines. This method uses 40 meter long nose made of steel and is connected to the front part of the bridge to reduce the cantilever moment that occurs. The structure of the bridge is modelled in Midas Civil. 31 centric pre-stressing tendons are used during launching, whereas 20 tendons are placed in the top flanges and 11 tendons are placed in the bottom flanges. 2 pre-stressing tendons are placed in each web, to be tensioned after the bridge has reached its final position. The results from analysis using Midas Civil stated that the tendons used are sufficient to withstand the stresses due to dead load and live load.AbstrakTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh pemahaman yang lebih luas dalam menganalisis jembatan yang dibangun secara bertahap. Dengan Incremental Launching Method (ILM), jembatan dicor per segmen di belakang salah satu abutmen dan diluncurkan diatas tiang setelah beton mencapai kekukatannya. Oleh karena itu, metode ini memiliki efek yang sedikit pada lingkungan dan sangat efisien untuk pembangunan jalan raya atau jalur kereta api. Metode ini menggunakan nose sepanjang 40 meter yang terbuat dari baja dan disambungkan pada bagian depan jembatan untuk mengurangi momen kantilever yang terjadi. Model struktur jembatan dibuat dalam program Midas Civil menggunakan wizard ILM. 31 tendon centric prestressing digunakan selama peluncuran, 20 ditempatkan di flens atas box girder dan 11 ditempatkan di bawah. 2 tendon ditempatkan di masing-masing web yang akan ditarik setelah jembatan berada di posisi akhir. Hasil dari analisis menggunakan Midas Civil menunjukan bahwa tendon yang digunakan cukup untuk menahan tegangan akibat beban mati dan beban hidup.

This Master’s thesis concerns a design of the highway bridge over Nitra River in Nitra, Slovakia. Three variants were designed from which one was selected and analyzed in detail. It is a three box cell girder made of post-tensioned concrete and constructed as a free cantilever bridge. The bridge is assessed according to Eurocodes. The limit states for persistent and transient design situations were taken into account at carrying out the design. There are drawings attached to this thesis as illustrative drawings of the bridge and its construction stages, drawings of the prestress tendons and reinforcement.

This research skips the creation, existence and extinction from Corrente Revolucionária de Minas Gerais (CORRENTE), dissidence from Minas Gerais to Brazilian Communist Party, that act as a resistance (active) armed against dictatorship civil-military between 1967 and 1969. The main goal of this rummage is to recover, by historical sources, the trajectory of the organization, identifying and describing the aspects that characterize it as New Left (NL) member active at that period. To compose the analyses of this research, two fundamental concepts were used: New Left and resistance.
O presente trabalho enfoca a criação, existência e extinção da Corrente Revolucionária de Minas Gerais (CORRENTE), dissidência mineira do Partido Comunista Brasileiro, que atuou como resistência (ativa) armada à ditadura civil-militar entre os anos de 1967 e 1969. Fatores como aumento da demanda mundial por minério de manganês e impactos ambientais associados à disposição final de rejeitos têm motivado estudos que visam o aproveitamento dos materiais contidos em barragens de rejeitos de minerações. Neste contexto, o presente trabalho teve como objetivo principal estudar o aproveitamento do rejeito de manganês como material de construção civil. Para tanto, realizou-se a caracterização do rejeito de Mn do ponto de vista físico, químico, mineralógico, ambiental e quanto a reatividade com o meio ao qual está exposto. A partir dessas análises foram investigadas aplicações viáveis para o rejeito. A primeira análise verificou seu aproveitamento como fíler no cimento Portland, para isso foram fabricadas argamassas de referência e argamassas com substituições de 6, 8 e 10% ao cimento. As argamassas foram ensaiadas quanto a resistência à compressão e absorção de água total e índice de vazios aos 28 dias. Os ensaios mostraram que as argamassas com teores de substituição obtiveram resultados positivos quando comparados com as argamassas de referência. Induzindo ao ganho de resistência principalmente para os percentuais de 6 e 8%, assim como, para os resultados de absorção total e índice de vazios. A segunda investigação verificou o aproveitamento do rejeito de Mn como agregado miúdo na confecção de concretos, foram fabricados concretos de referência e concretos com substituições de 15, 20, 25 e 30% ao agregado miúdo natural. Por meio da análise de resistência à compressão axial notou-se um resultado positivo para ambas as amostras, principalmente para os concretos com substituição de 15 e 20%. As análises de resistência à tração e módulo de elasticidade alcançaram resultados satisfatórios para ambas as amostras, principalmente para os concretos com 20, 25 e 30% de substituição. Na análise de absorção capilar os concretos com substituições apresentaram variações significativas quando comparados aos concretos de referência. As amostras de 15% e 30% foram as que menos absorveram água, sendo que os resultados das amostras de 20 e 25% ainda ficaram abaixo dos valores de absorção do concreto de referência. Desta forma, o aproveitamento deste rejeito como material de construção civil se torna viável do ponto de vista técnico e ambiental.
The increasing global demand for manganese ore and environmental impacts associated with the disposal of ore waste have motivated studies about the reuse of materials from tailings dams. In this context, the main objective of this work was to study the reuse of manganese waste as materials for civil construction. For this purpose a characterization of the Mn tailings was made from a physical, chemical, mineralogical, environmental and reactivity point of view. From these analyzes, feasible applications for the tailings were investigated. The first one was to study its reutilization as a filler in Portland cement. For this, reference mortars and mortars with 6, 8 and 10% substitutions were made to the cement. The mortars were tested for compressive strength and total water absorption and voids index at 28 days. The tests showed that the mortars with substitution contents obtained positive results when compared to the reference mortars. Inducing the resistance gain mainly for the percentages of 6 and 8%, as well as for the results of total absorption and voids index. A second investigation was carried out to study the reuse of Mn tailings as a fine aggregate in the manufacture of concrete. For this purpose, reference concrete and concretes were made with 15, 20, 25 and 30% substitutions to the natural fine aggregate. Through the analysis of resistance to axial compression a positive result was observed for both samples, especially for concretes with 15 and 20% substitution. The tests of tensile strength and modulus of elasticity achieved satisfactory results for both samples, especially for concretes with 20, 25 and 30% of substitution. In the capillary absorption analysis, the concretes with substitutions presented significant variations when compared to the reference concretes. The samples of 15% and 30% were the ones that less absorbed water, and the results of the 20 and 25% samples were still below the absorption values of the reference concrete. In this way, the reuse of this waste as materials for civil construction becomes feasible from a technical and environmental point of view.

Diploma thesis is focused on a design of the road bridge of the category S7,5 in cadastral territory of a municipality Polanka nad Odrou. Three preliminary studies have been proposed. Box girder beam with a slant walls were selected for more detailed processing. Construction of the bridge is going to be build by time-dependent analysis on a solid formwork. The calculation of load is done by using computer software Midas Civil 19 v 2.1. and Scia Engineer 19.1. Selected preliminary was assessed according to the recent Europan standards.

Abstract:
This study aims to demonstrate the importance of the Public Ministery and civil society to protect the environment, understood not only as standalone material, but as a reference and expression of a bundle of meanings and values assigned to it by the strength of cultural and ideological diversity of the various social segments that interact with the place. Thus, at first the study includes the years before the promulgation of the 1988 Constitution, to follow the path trailed by the Public Ministery to reach the current status of defender of the environmental rights and the paths traveled by the popular movements formed by various social segments, which begin their action with the anti-authoritarianism resistance and soon expand, seeking autonomy and integration of its values and visions in the economic, political and cultural areas. The ecological movements and its network are evidenced. Finally, the study analyzes two cases of environmental conflict occurred in Minas Gerais that, transformed into formal litigation, had different procedures and outcomes and were proportional to the different degrees of interaction and articulation of the social subject involved. Concludes with the observation that, in environmental conflicts, the 'investment' of technical, social and political equities as well as the network articulation by the civil society are key factors for positioning the Public Ministery as an actor-network and enable its actions to reach solutions that recognize the different meanings, values and culture inserts particular to the area.
A presente pesquisa objetiva demonstrar a importância da parceria Ministério Público e sociedade civil para defesa do meio ambiente, entendido não só como materialidade autônoma, mas como referência e expressão de um feixe de significados e valores que lhe é atribuído pela força da pluralidade cultural e ideológica dos vários atores sociais que interagem com o lugar. Para tanto, num primeiro momento o estudo retoma os anos anteriores à promulgação da Constituição de 1988, para acompanhar o caminho trilhado pelo Ministério Público até chegar a seu status atual, de defensor dos direitos metaindividuais, bem como os caminhos percorridos pelos movimentos populares formados por vários atores sociais, que começam sua ação com a luta anti-autoritarismo e logo a ampliam, buscando autonomia e inserção de seus valores e visões de mundo nas searas econômica, política e cultural. Evidenciam-se os movimentos ecológicos e seu trabalho em rede. Por fim, a pesquisa analisa dois casos concretos de conflito ambiental ocorridos em Minas Gerais que, transformados em litígio formal, tiveram encaminhamentos e desfechos distintos entre si e proporcionais aos diferentes graus de interação e articulação dos respectivos sujeitos sociais envolvidos. Conclui-se com a constatação de que, nos conflitos ambientais, o investimento de capital técnico, social e político, bem como a articulação em rede por parte da sociedade civil são fatores determinantes para que o Ministério Público se posicione como ator-rede e suas ações alcancem assim soluções que reconheçam os diversos significados, valores e culturas insertos no território.

Abstract:
A presente pesquisa examina a mineração de agregados para a construção civil e o tratamento dispensado no processo legislativo que visa instituir um novo marco regulatório para mineração brasileira. O escopo da pesquisa é verificar a pertinência de tratamento específico aos agregados minerais sob a ótica do princípio do desenvolvimento sustentável. A metodologia aplicada evidencia ser fundamental contextualizar a proposta legal, conceituar e compreender os bens e a atividade minerária, diferenciando os minerais agregados dos demais minérios. Verificadas suas especificidades, a mineração de agregados é analisada sob a ótica da sustentabilidade. O referencial teórico de José Eli da Veiga, na obra “Desenvolvimento sustentável: o desafio do século XXI” orienta a pesquisa no sentido de tecer as relações da atividade com o meio ambiente e a dignidade da pessoa humana. A pesquisa ressalta os impactos causados pela atividade, negativos ao meio ambiente e positivos no alcance da melhoria da qualidade de vida das pessoas. O estudo faz referência ao Direito Mineral Brasileiro e estudar o PL n. 5.087/2013 e seu substitutivo, reivindica aporte sobre políticas públicas e acerca do processo legislativo em tramitação. Ao final analisa os regimes de aproveitamento mineral, especificando o regime da autorização, a pesquisa mineral, a proposta acerca de ordenamento territorial mineral, a compensação financeira sobre a exploração mineral (CFEM) e quanto ao poder concedente dos direitos minerários. Pode-se concluir e confirmar a hipótese levantada que a legislação sempre privilegiou os minerais agregados dada sua essencialidade no alcance da melhoria da qualidade de vida, sendo imprescindível que seja mantido este direcionamento no tratamento deste bem social para alcance da sustentabilidade, enquanto preceito em processo de construção.

The research presents an approach of mining of aggregates for construction and the treatment designated in the legislative process which is being prepared to establish a New Regulatory Framework for Brazilian Mining. The scope of the research is to verify the relevance of specific treatment to mineral aggregates from the perspective of sustainable development. The applied methodology showed to be critical to contextualize the legal proposal, conceptualize and understand the assets and mining activities, differentiating the mineral aggregates of other mineral resources. Due to its specificities, mining of aggregates was analyzed from the perspective of sustainability. The theoretical reference of José Eli da Veiga, in the book "Sustainable development: the challenge of the XXI century" has oriented the research in order to identify relations of mining of aggregates to the environment and human dignity. The research highlighted the impacts caused by mining of aggregates, negative for the environment and positive due to improving quality of life. The study refers to The Brazilian Mineral Law, the Law Project n° 5087/2013, and its replacement, that inputs public policy. At the end, mineral exploitation regimes were analyzed, specifying the “regime of authorization”, mineral exploration, the proposal concerning mineral land planning, the financial compensation for mineral exploration (CFEM) and the mining rights. It was possible to conclude and confirm the hypothesis that the law has always privileged the mineral aggregates given its essentiality to improve quality of life and it is essential to maintain this condition to achieve sustainability while precept in process of construction.

Dams are part of the history of civilizations, being among the first works architected by humanity. Reservoirs, formed by dams, act as sediment retention basins, promoting its gradual sedimentation. The accumulation of sediments on reservoir s bottom modifies the morphology of the relief, which should be periodically reviewed by the update of the elevation x area x volume curve (EAV), based on bathymetric surveys. This study aimed to evaluate the process of sedimentation on the Pipoca hydroelectric power plant reservoir, by performing bathymetric surveys and the characterization of the reservoir bottom sediments. Two bathymetric surveys were executed, the first, in 2012, with a single beam echosounder and the second, in 2013, with a multibeam echosounder. In addition to the comparison between the two methodologies used in the echosounders, it was analyzed the results obtained before and after the filling of the reservoir, by the generation of Digital Elevation Models (DEMs). The DEM before reservoir s filling was obtained from contour s lines of the region and some bathymetric sections of the river. These DEM enabled the generation of EAV curves before and after reservoir s filling, enabling the identification of deposited sediment volumes during the current operation period of the hydroelectric power plant. In the first bathymetric survey it was obtained a deposited sediment volume of 0.404 hm3, which represents an average annual sedimentation of 0.80%. In the second bathymetric survey was obtained a deposited sediment volume of 0.369 hm3, which represents an average annual sedimentation of 0.63%. The difference on the volumes obtained by the two equipments can be explained by the greater accuracy provided by the multibeam echo sounder. This multibeam echo sounder technology is able to provide 100% coverage of the area and requires less interpolation on the collected data than the other technology.
As barragens fazem parte da história das civilizações, estando entre as primeiras obras arquitetadas pela humanidade. Os reservatórios, formados pela construção de barragens, atuam como verdadeiras bacias de retenção de sedimentos, promovendo o seu assoreamento gradual. O acúmulo de sedimentos do fundo do reservatório modifica a morfologia do relevo, que deve ser reavaliada periodicamente a partir da atualização das curvas cota x área x volume (CAV), com base em levantamentos batimétricos. O presente estudo visou avaliar o processo de assoreamento no reservatório da PCH Pipoca (MG), por meio da realização de levantamentos batimétricos e pela caracterização dos sedimentos de fundo do reservatório. Foram realizados dois levantamentos batimétricos, o primeiro, em 2012, com ecobatímetro monofeixe e o segundo, em 2013, com ecobatímetro multifeixe. Além da comparação entre as metodologias utilizadas no uso dos ecobatímetros, foram analisados os resultados obtidos antes e depois do enchimento do reservatório, a partir da geração de Modelos Digitais de Elevação (MDEs). O MDE antes do enchimento do reservatório, em 2006, foi obtido a partir de curvas de nível da região e de algumas seções batimétricas. Estes MDEs permitiram a geração das curvas CAV anterior e posterior ao enchimento do reservatório, possibilitando identificar volumes de sedimento depositado ao longo do período de operação do empreendimento. Na primeira batimetria do reservatório foi obtido um volume de sedimento depositado de 0,404 hm3, representando uma taxa média de assoreamento anual de 0,80%. Já na segunda batimetria do reservatório foi obtido um volume de sedimento depositado de 0,369 hm3, representando uma taxa média de assoreamento anual de 0,63%. Esta diferença pode ser justificada pelo fato de o ecobatímetro multifeixe proporcionar uma precisão maior no levantamento, ao ser capaz de mapear 100% da área, demandando pouca interpolação dos dados coletados.

O processo de produção do espaço em prol da produção de infraestruturas capazes de promover o bem-estar social, a seguridade e o direito à moradia é hoje, e provavelmente sempre foram, o principal causador de entraves para a manutenção do equilíbrio natural do meio ambiente. A atividade de mineração, particularmente, caracteriza-se como uma das formas mais graves de degradação ambiental, em decorrência da magnitude do espaço a ser explorado, supressão de vegetação nativa, descaracterização da paisagem natural, inserção de substâncias contaminantes no processo de extração, dentre outros males. Além destes relacionados diretamente ao processo de exploração, existem aqueles ligados ao processo de transporte, transformação e comercialização da matéria-prima minerada. Logo, fica evidente que as cidades já nascem em locais ambientalmente debilitados e permanecem em condições críticas ao longo dos tempos, pois o ecossistema urbano sempre está em processo de expansão. Desta forma, a escolha do objeto de estudo deste trabalho deu-se a partir da análise da relação entre a qualidade de vida e a atividade de mineração constante em uma área degradada. Diretamente, busca-se uma investigação acerca dos conflitos socioambientais associados ao uso e ocupação de área de degradação urbana decorrente da atividade extrativista mineral que tem capacidade potencial de atingir as comunidades residentes ao seu entorno. Para tanto, o recorte espacial foi a Vila Monte Verde, localizada no bairro Cidade Industrial situado na zona Norte da cidade de Teresina, capital do Estado do Piauí. The process of transformation of the space towards the production of infrastructures that promote social well-being, security and the right to housing are today, and probably always have been, the main cause of fairness by maintaining the natural balance of the environment. The mining activity, particularly, is characterized as one of the most severe forms of environmental degradation, because of the magnitude of the space to be explored, suppression of native vegetation characterization of the natural landscape, insertion of contaminants in the extraction process, among other evils. Apart from these directly related to the exploration process, there are those linked to the transport process, processing and marketing of raw materials mined. It soon becomes apparent that cities are born in environmentally impaired sites and remains in critical condition over time, as the urban ecosystem is always in the expansion process. Thus, the choice of the subject matter of this work is due to analysis of the problem of understanding existing between the quality of life and the constant mining activity in a degraded area. Shear strength characteristics of soil beneath the footing play a salient role on the stresses developed in the footing. In the design of foundation, it is imperative to analyse the stresses developed in it to prevent failures. Estimation of the influence of shear strength of underlying soil and flexural rigidity of footing on the shear force and bending moment developed in the foundation is necessary for effective determination of stress. Unlike conventional experimental methods, numerical analysis using Finite Element Method based geotechnical software like PLAXIS, FLAC, MIDAS etc. enables the analysis of foundations with complex stress characteristics. Finite Element Method (FEM) is a numerical analysis procedure that provides approximate solutions to various problems associated in the field of geotechnical engineering. This paper critically reviews the current literature on numerical methods to investigate the influence of shear strength of supporting soil on the structural forces developed in a footing. The relevance of the present approach to the concept of shear strength analysis is scrutinised by various numerical simulation analysis software.

<p>The application of jointless bridges has been increasing year by year, because it could reduce the life‐cycle cost and improve the riding comfort. The approach slab in jointless bridges does not only have the function of road transition which is the same as the approach slab in bridges with expansion joints, but also transfer and absorb the deformation produced by the thermal expansion and contraction of the girder. The Grade Flat Approach Slab (GFAS) horizontally placed on the subgrade is one of the most common types of the approach slab in jointless bridges. The material placed between GFAS and subgrade should be able to properly slide to reduce the stress in GFAS. The friction coefficient between GFAS and sliding material is an important parameter affecting the mechanical behavior of GFAS in jointless bridges. In this paper, the tests of GFAS with different sliding materials subjected to horizontal displacement were conducted to obtain the corresponding friction coefficients (from 0.34 to 0.68). The mathematical model of bilinear spring could be adapted to simulate the friction function between GFAS and different sliding materials. One Deck‐Extension Bridge (DEB) that is one type of jointless bridges was chosen as a case study. The finite element model was implemented by using Midas‐Civil software. The influence of GFAS with different sliding materials on the mechanical properties of DEB under temperature variation was investigated. It can be concluded that the influence of the friction coefficient between GFAS and sliding material on the bending moment of DEB should be taken into account.</p>
