Le dispositif intra-uterin (DIU) est une des methodes contraceptives les plus efficaces et les plus utilisees a travers le monde. La perforation reste exceptionnelle apres la pose dun DIU cependant, cest lune des complications les plus graves. Nous rapportons le cas dune patiente de 31 ans qui sest presentee pour migration dun DIU de cuivre 15 jours apres sa mise en place. Nous insistons a travers cette observation et sous la lumiere de la revue de la litterature sur lefficacite et linnocuite du DIU lorsque la technique et les indications sont rigoureusement respectees, mais aussi sur une des complications rarissimes de la pose du DIU, et enfin le role diagnostic et therapeutique de la cœlioscopie dans la prise en charge de cette complication.

Abstract Abstract 1571 Poster Board I-596 The pseudo tyrosine kinase receptor 7 (PTK7) is an orphean tyrosine kinase receptor assigned to the planar cell polarity pathway (PCP). It has been recently described and plays a major role during embryogenesis and epithelial tissue organisation. To date there is no report in the litterature considering a potential implication in hematopoiesis. In silico and in vitro analysis found that PTK7 was also expressed in normal myeloid progenitors and CD34+ CD38- bone marrow cells in humans. Preliminary results from our team showed that PTK7 was also expressed in various leukemic cell lines such Jurkat, TF-1 or KG-1a. We decided to perform a wide range multicolour immunophenotyping screen on patients with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) at diagnosis and to investigate the role of PTK7 in AML in vitro. More than 250 patient samples were evaluated and we demonstrated that PTK7 was largely expressed in AML as 72% of the samples were PTK7 positive. Its expression mostly correlates with granulocytic lineage differentiation. PTK7 expression was associated with a lower WBC count at diagnosis and a lower frequency of extramedullary disease whatever was FAB subtype. Interestingly, PTK7 expression was associated with some cytogenetic subgroups including CBF-AML and APL. There was no correlation with molecular subgroups (i.e. FLT3-ITD/NPM1/CEBPA status). Overall Survival and Relapse Free Survival were evaluated in non-APL patients treated with induction chemo (n=182). Patients with PTK7 positive AML are more resistant to anthracycline-based frontline therapy with a significantly reduced Relapse Free Survival in a multivariate analysis model integrating all pre treatment variables (2 year probability of RFS= 29% vs 66% for PTK7 negative patients, p= 0.003). Forrest plot analysis showed that the negative impact of PTK7 expression was the most significant in intermediate cytogenetic risk subgroup and when PTK7 was aberrantly expressed in M4-M5 FAB subtypes. There was no demonstrated impact on CR. In cultured cells, expression of PTK7 promotes leukemia cell migration, cell survival and resistance to anthracyclin-induced apoptosis. There was no effect of PTK7 expression on cell proliferation in tritiated thymidine assay. In the absence of known inhibitor of PTK7, we produced a soluble recombinant PTK7-Fc protein that efficiently competes for PTK7 functions in cell migration and survival assays in cell lines and primary AML samples. These data were confirmed using a shRNA strategy. We conclude that PTK7 is a PCP component expressed in the myeloid progenitor compartment that conveys promigratory and anti-apoptotic signal to leukemia cells. Its use as a potential biomarker or therapeutical target should be investigated. Disclosures No relevant conflicts of interest to declare.

English abstract: An apparent trend in the study of Islam and Muslims during the last decades is the growing interest in religious everyday life and ritual practice. Sometimes Islamic Studies are said to be too focused on politicization, extremism and migration, but contemporary studies to a growing extent also discuss ”lived religion” and ”vernacular religion” with the ambition to identify how individuals and smaller groups practice and understand their religion. These studies have provided important documentation of practices, methodological and theoretical discussions and a more complex view on texts and the uses of texts. But such an interest has a long history. This article presents one of the pioneers in the study of Muslim piety, Elizabeth Fernea, and points to the importance of early ethnography as a resource for the study of contemporary religion. Fernea's two-year stay in a Shiite small-town in Iraq generated fully-fledged descriptions of everyday piety as well as a unique account of a pilgrim tour to Karbala 1957. Its literary style immediately gave Guests of the Sheik a broad range of readers when it was published in 1965, but it took longer before it was established in academic literature. In her book, Fernea describes religious conditions in Iraq in the 1950s and the conflicts between the lives of the clans and the emerging urban middle class. In comparison to the chaos in Iraq since 2003 and the preceding decades of dictatorship, Fernea's study is a narrative from another Iraq. Svensk resumE: En påtaglig trend i studiet av islam och muslimer under de senaste årtiondena har varit ett växande intresse för religiöst vardagsliv och rituell praxis. Islamstudier skylls ibland för att vara alltför fokuserade på politisering, extremism och migration, men samtida studier som inte primärt behandlat dessa frågor har i ökad utsträckning studerat ”lived religion” och ”vernacular religion”. Dessa perspektiv har genererat betydelsefull dokumentation av praxis, metodologiska och teoretiska diskussioner, samt bidragit till en mer komplex syn på text och textbruk. Men intresse för hur människor praktiserar sin religion och lokala tolkningar har en lång historia. Denna artikel presenterar en av pionjärerna för studiet av muslimsk fromhet, Elizabeth Fernea, och pekar på betydelsen av tidigare etnografi som resurs också för religionsvetenskapens samtida studier. Ferneas tvååriga vistelse i en shiamuslimsk småstad i Irak resulterade i skildringar av såväl vardagens fromhet som en unik framställning av en pilgrimsfärd till Karbala 1957. Spänningarna mellan klanernas traditionella liv och den begynnande framväxten av en utbildad urban medelklass är ett bärande tema i studien liksom de komplicerade relationerna mellan muslimer och kristna.

Intravesical migration of intra uterine device is extremely rare. Few cases only have been reported in the litterature. This migration may cause many complications including vesical stone.Device migration may be secondary to a vesicovaginal fistula, or uterin perforation or a trans-uretral insertion of the IUD.The case reported is one of a 52year-old woman with lower urinary tract symptoms that occured 25 years after the insertion of the IUD, that has been complicated with a vesical stone. The constitution of the lithiasis, has been though, the main consequence of thisforeign body.

Le but de cette these est de mettre en relief les principaux problemes d'identite dans la litterature neo-hellenique en prose de la migration produite dans l'espace europeen. Dans la premiere partie sont presentees des donnees theoriques concernant la notion de l'identite en psychologie et en sociologie ainsi que l'ensemble des textes litteraires rassembles et etudies au cours de la recherche. La deuxieme partie est consacree a l'analyse detaillee d'un nombre restreint de textes (corpus) appartenant a deux epoques differentes (xixe siecle/ apres-guerre). Ce sont des textes de neuf ecrivains avec des caracteristiques tres differenciees. La troisieme partie est consacree a l'elaboration de certaines hypotheses de travail suscitees au cours de l'analyse des textes. L'objectif est ici de discuter les caracteristiques essentielles generales de la litterature en prose de la migration neo-hellenique. L'attention est portee sur l'interaction entre la question de la migration et la problematique de l'identite, sur le fonctionnement des axes du temps et de l'espace, sur le role organisateur des personnages dans l'evolution du mythe etcThe purpose of this dissertation is to examine the main identity problems of the greek literature of migration in prose which was created in europe. The first part contains main theoretical elements of the identity notion in psychology and sociology as well as the total number of the literary texts collected and studied during the research. The second part is devoted to the systematic study of a limited number of literary texts belonging in two different periods (19th century/ post-war period). These are texts of nine authors of a great variety. The third part is devoted to the elaboration on certain suppositions put forward during the analysis of the texts. In this cese the objective is to search the main traits of the greek migration literature in prose: the interdependence of the issue of migration and the problematic of identity, the function of space and time facts, the role of characters in the development of the plot etc

L’identité est un concept très complexe qui peut se décliner en quatre catégories : l’identité ethnique, l’identité culturelle, l’identité sociale et l’identité personnelle. Alors que l’identité ethnique sera difficilement changée, les trois autres catégories peuvent muter, peuvent se combiner à d’autres éléments, on parle d’hybridation de l’identité. L’identité hybride est une identité ayant plusieurs composantes et se présente en fonction de la situation vécue par une personne. Dany Laferrière nous montre une manifestation de cette identité hybride dans son ouvrage Comment faire l’amour avec un nègre sans se fatiguer. L’hybridité est constatée chez les jeunes filles blanches fréquentant les personnages noirs issus de la migration à Montréal. Elles bravent des interdits pour passer le temps avec ces personnages quitte à avoir une double vie, témoignant alors de la multiplicité de leurs identités en fonction de la situation.L’identité unique n’existe plus, mais pourra se manifester à l’issue d’interactions répétées formant alors une nouvelle identité. L’interculturel est alors à la base de l’identité hybride. Cette dernière ne pourra cependant être qu’éphémère.The hybridity of the characters in the novel Comment faire l’amour avec un nègre sans se fatiguer by Dany LaferrièreIdentity is a very complex concept that can be broken down into four categories: ethnic identity, cultural identity, social identity and personal identity. While the ethnic identity will hardly be changed, the other three categories can mutate, can combine with other elements, we speak of hybridization of identity. Hybrid identity is an identity with several components and presents itself according to the situation experienced by a person. Dany Laferrière shows us a manifestation of this hybrid identity in his novel How to make love to a negro without getting tired. Hybridity is seen in young white girls dating black characters from migrant backgrounds in Montreal. They brave prohibitions to spend time with these characters even if it means having a double life, testifying then to the multiplicity of their identity depending on the situation.The single identity no longer exists, but may manifest itself at the end of repeated interactions then forming a new identity. Interculturality is therefore the basis of hybrid identity. The latter, however, can only be ephemeral.

I studien undersöktes hur texter i läromedel för nyanlända andraspråkselever förhöll sig till begreppet läsbarhet i jämförelse med två läromedel för studie- och yrkesförberedande gymnasieprogram. Läsbarheten i dessa analyserades med den systemiska funktionella lingvistiken som metod för att undersöka läromedlens användning av verbprocesser, agens i materiella verbprocesser och nominaliseringar som grammatiska metaforer. Resultaten visade att läromedlet för nyanlända förhöll sig till läsbarhet genom att använda frekventa verb i texten för att förklara nominaliseringar som utgjorde de centrala begreppen för kapitlet. Användningen av verbprocesser, agens och grammatiska metaforer var i samtliga läromedel väldigt lik med undantaget att läromedlen för de studie- och yrkesförberedande programmen använde sig av fler icke-mänskliga agenser för att dölja deltagare och fler skriftspråkliga grammatiska metaforer som skyldigheter. Inga stora skillnader mellan användningen av verbprocesser, agens och grammatiska metaforer identifierades mellan de två läromedlen för gymnasieprogrammen. Resultaten visade tydligt att ju högre nivå på läromedlet desto större krav ställer det på elevers förkunskaper och språkregister.

The central concern of this thesis is to describe the views of the young men in Feridun Zaimoglus book Kanak Sprak (2000) on their own identity ("Kanaken"), on the identity of other foreigners such as (college "Ali") and the Germans ("Alemannen") with help of close-reading. The book contains short-stories or "protocolls", written in the special language "KanakSprak", a mixture of Turkish and German street gang slang. There are claims that Zaimoglus texts are written based on hiphop/rap language. The categories in this work are identity, youth(sub)culture, territory, style and Hiphop. Other than close-reading the analysis will also take help of different research areas such as youth research and soliology.

Immigration is a common phenomenon in contemporary society and results in challenges withmaintaining cultural identity while integrating with a new culture. This is particularlyimportant in the family unit, where first-generation immigrant communities may havedifferent levels of experience and cultural values compared to their offspring (Secondgeneration immigrants). Integration in second-generation immigrants is often related tobilingualism and the concept of a dual social identity, embracing elements of host and nativeculture. The aim of this study was to explore the perspective of parents on the role ofbilingualism on integration and identity in their children. A sample of five families, originallyfrom Afghanistan and now living in Sweden, was purposively selected to complete semistructured interviews exploring bilingualism, social identity and integration. The findings ofthese interviews revealed three key themes relating to the adoption of Swedish identity bychildren, the loss of Afghani identity, and the role of the school and society in facilitatingthese identities.Overall, the interview data suggested that children living in Sweden identified as Swedish andengaged in cultural and social activities consistent with integration. Bilingualism was animportant aspect of holding a largely Swedish identity, although parents valued dual identityof children. Often, immersion in Swedish culture and limited opportunities to socialise as anAfghani cultural unit were viewed as threats to maintaining or developing a clear Afghaniidentity. The role of schools, parents and society in general is considered important in theseprocesses, particularly with regards to supporting cultural and religious values of the familyunit, while promoting successful integration. Bilingualism was universally viewed as apositive tool that could facilitate integration and dual identity, where suitable opportunitiesarose.Grade A

The aim of this thesis is to show how the contemporary critical debate on migrant literature in Italy has proved to be inadequate to grasp the complexity of novels such Onela Vorpsi’s The Land where No One Ever Dies and Anilda Ibrahimi’s Rosso come una sposa (“Red as a Bride”). The main critical trends are presented, the two novels are analysed in their themes and new methods of analysis are suggested. In particular, I open for the possibility of framing these two novels within the multidisciplinary debate on the imaginative colonisation of Eastern Europe.
