Forestry is an important industry in Sweden, with clear-cut as the most commonly used method for harvesting. Here the long-term impact of clear-cut on lake water quality (dissolved organic carbon (DOC), nitrogen, phosphorus and pH) has been investigated, based on 23 lakes sampled during autumn. Data for additional 15 lakes sampled for the Swedish monitoring program were also used. Lakes were classified as 5, 25, 40 and 60 year based on data of the forest age in the catchment, gathered from the Swedish national forest inventory. Clear-cut lakes were classified as 5 years (>20% of the catchment clear-cut during the last 10 years). The results showed that DOC and total nitrogen (TN) concentrations decreased with increasing age of the forests. In clear-cut lakes (5 year) average DOC- (20.5 mg/L) and TN concentrations (477 µg/L) were higher than the average concentration in lakes with older forests (25, 40 and 60 year) (i.e. DOC 13.5 mg/L and TN 351 µg/L). Also the quality of DOC were changing (measured as changes in absorbance at 254) with forest age, with more bioavailable (low molecular weight) DOC in clear-cut lakes. A greater clear-cut area compared to the catchment area did not significantly result in higher concentrations of DOC and TN in clear-cut lakes. In conclusion, the concentration of TN, and the concentration and quality of DOC, in small boreal lakes are affected by clear-cutting and are changing with the age of the forest stand. Thus, highest concentrations and more bioavailable carbon compounds are found in clear-cut lakes where forests recently has been removed (<10 year).

Till sommaren 2019 börjar den nya Läroplanen för förskolan att gälla. I den skrivs begreppet undervisning fram. Det saknas idag en tydlig definition av begreppet vilket gör att förskollärare känner en osäkerhet kring undervisning. Studiens syfte är därför att utifrån ett didaktiskt perspektiv bidra med kunskap om förskollärare och barnskötares diskussion om undervisning i förskolan. Det sker genom att studera förskollärare och barnskötares tal om möjligheter och begräsningar för lärande i samling i förhållande till de pedagogiska atmosfärerna. De frågeställningar som studien bygger på är: I vilket syfte genomförs samlingar? Hur planerar förskollärare undervisning? och Vad kan möjliggöra och begränsa barns lärande i samlingen? För att samla in data genomfördes tre fokusgrupper med totalt åtta deltagare. Sex deltagare är förskollärare och två är barnskötare. Undersökningen genomfördes på tre olika förskolor. Resultatet visar i huvudsak på att begreppet undervisning är svårtolkat. Förskollärarna och barnskötarna menar att begreppet har diskuterats mycket men att det fortfarande saknas en tydlig definition. Samlingen används inte för undervisning i första hand utan undervisning sker i mindre grupper. Läroplanen ligger till grund för planering. Resultatet visar att förskollärare och barnskötares pedagogiska atmosfär påverkar vilka möjligheter och begränsningar som finns för lärande. Ce travail de thèse consiste le développement d’un élément fini de plaque et de coque courbe géométriquement simple (4 nœuds), basé sur une nouvelle approche variationnelle appelée DDM (Displacement Discrete Mindlin). Il prend en compte l’effet du cisaillement transversal CT à travers l’épaisseur. Le modèle DDM introduit de manière discrète deux hypothèses de Mindlin. La première hypothèse est cinématique, elle consiste à introduire sous la forme d’une intégrale de contour une équation cinématique de la déformation de CT. Elle permet l’élimination du verrouillage en CT sans introduire des fonctions bulles ou sans recourir à l’intégration réduite ou sélective. Il s’agit de l’approche des déformations de CT de substitution, connue sous le nom de « ANS method : Assumed Natural Strains ». La seconde hypothèse fait appel à deux lois de comportement, l’une en flexion et l’autre en CT, et deux équations d’équilibre d’une plaque en flexion/CT. Elle a pour principal avantage une élimination locale des degrés de libertés de rotation, introduits initialement au milieu d’un bord élémentaire par le biais d’une approximation quadratique des rotations de la normale à la surface moyenne<br>The present work of the thesis deals with the theoretical formulation and the evaluation of a new first order finite element for multilayered/sandwich plates and shells. It’s based on a displacement variational model that we consider as discrete, insofar as we introduce kinematic and mechanical hypothesises in a discrete manner. This model, labelled DDM (Discrete Displacement Mindlin), leads to a finite element which is geometrically simple (4 node) and efficient, owing to the linearity of bending curvatures obtained from a quadratic approximation of the normal rotations to the plate mid-surface. The new element takes into account the transverse shear effects along thickness direction and gives thin plate results when the ratio L/h (Length/ thickness) becomes big. It has been successfully validated across some known testing problems, from thin to thick laminated and sandwich

Syftet med uppsatsen är att belysa och förstå invandrarelevers upplevelser av etnisk särskiljning som görs av lärare i skolan. Undersökningen har ett elevperspektiv. Frågeställningarna gäller hur eleverna upplever lärarnas förhållningssätt till deras etniska, religiösa, språkliga och kunskapsmässiga bakgrund samt vad det säger om i vilken utsträckning lärarna uppvisar ett resursperspektiv. Undersökningens metod är kvalitativ och datainsamlingen har skett genom semistrukturerade intervjuer med åtta elever. Det empiriska materialet har analyserats utifrån de två teoretiska begreppen etnicitet och makt. Vidare har materialet relaterats till tidigare forskning om etnisk kategorisering och maktrelationer i skolan, samt styrdokumentens värdegrundsfrågor. Resultatet visar att eleverna upplever sig som särbehandlade av sina lärare pågrund av sin etniska och religiösa bakgrund, vilket tyder på att etnisk särskiljning görs. Särskiljningen visar sig genom att lärarna har specifika, ofta låga, förväntningar, att de ignorerar elevernas tidigare kunskaper och behov och på andra sätt behandlar dem orättvist. Vidare indikerar resultatet att lärarna saknar resursperspektiv eftersom de endast i begränsad omfattning synliggör och använder elevernas tidigare kunskaper i undervisningen.<br><p>Godkänt datum 2021-06-04</p>

La plupart des pièces revêtues utilisées dans le domaine de la transmission de puissance sont soumises à des sollicitations de chocs répétés. Lorsque ces pièces sont correctement dimensionnées, leur endommagement va être lié à des mécanismes de fatigue superificielle. Afin d'améliorer la durabilité de ces pièces, les dépôts de type PVD et PACVD semblent particulièrement adaptés. Malheureusement, ces dépôts ne peuvent actuellement pas être utilisés sur des composants dont le remplacement est plus délicat que les outils. Une compréhension des mécanismes d'endommagement rendra possible l'optimisation de la tenue en fatigue des revêtements. Dans le but de caractériser la tenue à la fatigue superficielle des couches minces et dures de type PVD, un banc d'essai d'impacts répétés a été mis au point. La possibilité de caractériser ces revêtements sous une sollicitation de chocs répétés est alors illustrée à travers une classification et des cartes de fatigue de dépôts de TiBN, de CrN etde DLC<br>The most of mechanical components used for transmission of movement are subjected to repeated impacts or cyclic loading. If these elements are well designed and materials well chosen, their endurance is linked to surface fatigue mechanisms. In order to improve the fatigue behaviour of these pieces, hard coatings, like PVD or PACVD coatings, seems to be appropriate. Unfortunately, nowadays, such hard coatings could not be used for elements whose replacement is more difficult than cutting tools. The comprehension of the failure mechanisms will make possible the optimisation of the fatigue behaviour of hard coatings. In order to study the surface fatigue behaviour of thin hard PVD coatings, a specific apparatus was developed to carry out repeated impacts with a broad range of energy. The possibility to chart the fatigue behaviour of different coatings is illustrated throw the example of TiBN, CrN, CrxNy and DLC coatings

Ce travail de thèse s'inscrit dans la politique d'amélioration du confort vibroacoustique basses fréquences (voie solidienne) des caisses automobiles. La voie de recherche proposée est de réduire les vibrations néfastes pour le confort en augmentant les capacités dissipatives intrinsèques des caisses automobiles. Pour cela, l'introduction de films minces viscoélastiques à fort pouvoir dissipatif a été privilégiée. Dans ce contexte, une stratégie de conception basée sur l'exploitation de modèles éléments finis, les outils numériques associés et des systèmes amortissants ont été mis au point à partir de démonstrateurs académiques et automobiles<br>The research framework is the improvement of the car vibroacoustic comfort in the low frequency domain. The proposed idea consists in reducing the vibrations by increasing the intrinsic dissipating capacity of the car bodies. In order to reach this goal, the introduction of thin films made of vem, and characterized consequently by strong damping properties, was favoured. In this context, a design strategy based on FE analyses, associated computational tools and some damping devices were developped from academic and automotive structures

Le développement de substrats permettant l'épitaxie en couches épaisses de matériaux optoélectronique désaccordées en maille fait l'objet d'investigation considérable dans le domaine de la rechreche tant appliquée que fondamentale. Ces matériaux ont une structure nonocristalline mais ont l'inconvénient de pouvoir combiner des matériaux présentant des paramètres de maille identiques ou très voisins. Ce travail fait le lien entre les études expérimentales des films minces de type semi-conducteur épitaxiés et les résultats issus de la modélisation. En effet, nous nous sommes intéressés à l'étude et l'analyse des phénomènes d'instabilité associés à l'apparition des ondulations d'un film élastique précontraint sur un substrat visqueux. Les résultats issus de cette modélisation montrent une forte dépendance de la vitesse de croissance des perturbations en fonction de l'anisotropie du film et donnent un ordre de grandeur correct pour les ondulations du film dans le cas d'InGaAs et SiGe<br>Various compliant substrates have been fabricated to grow heteroepitaxial films for optoelectronic applications. A compressively strained elastic film bonded to a viscous layer can form wrinkles. The present work provides a theoretical study for the winkling process. We model the mechanism of the lateral relaxation with a viscoelastic interface and we analyse this process. Subsequently, we model the elastic relaxation process for anisotropic and pre-stressed elastic film on an incompressible viscous layer and we study the linear stability analysis. The results show the influence of anisotropy on the critical wave number and on the orientions of the perturbations. The analysis is then extended for 3 dimentionnel configuration. The solution is determined for the anisotropic materials that modeled with nonlinear Von Karman plate theory. The viscous layer is modeled with theory of lubrification

Ce travail porte sur la fabrication et la caractérisation des couches minces diélectriques pour l'optique. Les matériaux utilisés sont la silice, le nitrure de silicium et les oxynitrures de silicium. Les couches sont élaborées par dépôt chimique en phase vapeur active par plasma micro-onde (pecvd-ecr). Les dépôts sont contrôlés pendant leur croissance par ellipsométrie. Trois points ont été principalement développés: le premier d'entre eux est consacré à la fabrication de miroirs de bragg constitués de couches alternées de silice et de nitrure de silicium. Une méthode originale et simple de contrôle des épaisseurs de films par ellipsométrie in situ est présentée. Les mesures de réflectométrie sur les miroirs montrent que la méthode de contrôle in situ permet d'obtenir une grande précision sur les épaisseurs et les indices des différentes couches. Le deuxième est consacré à l'étude de la fabrication de films d'oxynitrure dont l'indice optique varie continûment avec l'épaisseur. Après l'examen de la variation de l'indice des couches en fonction des paramètres de dépôt, la méthode d'élaboration est présentée. Des films présentant des profils d'indice linéaire et parabolique ont été déposés sur du silicium et sur du verre. Le dernier point porte sur la caractérisation des films à gradient d'indice. On montre que la mesure d'un seul spectre ellipsométrique sur la couche permet d'obtenir la forme du profil. Une analyse en profondeur par gravure chimique permet de valider ces résultats

L'appareil à forces de surface développé à l'E. C. L (A. Tonck - J. M. Georges) est utilisé pour la caractérisation des fluides en milieu confiné (souvent des huiles de lubrification ou des solutions de polymère). L'exploitation des résultats expérimentaux obtenus par un tel appareil, et en particulier l'identification des caractéristiques rhéologiques de ces fluides, exige une analyse précise du contact sphère-plan en présence d'une couche interfaciale viscoélastique hétérogène et très mince. Les travaux antérieurs (F. Auslender) sur la nanorhéologie des couches minces confinées, ont permis d'aboutir à une forme généralisée des équations de Reynolds, permettant de décrire en sollicitation harmonique le contact sphère-plan (supposés rigides) en présence d'un film mince de fluide viscoélastique, compressible et hétérogène. Au cours de ce travail, nous nous sommes intéressés à la prise en compte de la déformation du substrat dans la modélisation antérieure. Afin de clarifier l'influence des différents paramètres (compressibilité de l'interface, déformabilité du substrat), nous avons choisi d'étudier deux problèmes modèles. Le premier est celui d'une couche de solide élastique compressible et homogène, le second celui d'une couche de fluide visqueux Newtonien compressible et homogène. En nous basant sur des résultats expérimentaux, nous avons pu identifier les propriétés rhéologiques pour trois types de lubrifiants. L'hétérogénéité de l'interface a été représentée par deux couches pariétales solides de mêmes caractéristiques rhéologiques, séparées par un volume de fluide de caractéristiques rhéologiques différentes. Afin d'obtenir des renseignements supplémentaires sur les propriétés rhéologiques de ces couches, nous avons étudié leur contact avec prise en compte de la déformation du substrat. Leur comportement est supposé de type hyperélastique, associé à une énergie de type Mooney - Rivlin avec un terme de compressibilité<br>The surface force apparatus developed at E. C. L. By A. Tonck and J. M. Georges is frequently used in the characterisation of confined fluid (such as lubrification oil or polymer solution). The exploration of such experimental results requires a precise analysis of the contact problem between an elastic place and an elastic sphere separated by a thin interfacial layer which may be considered eleastic, viscous or viscoelastic. Previous works in this direction (F. Auslender) leads to a generalised Reynolds equation describing, under imposed harmonic vertical displacement, the sphere plane contact with an heterogeneous viscoelastic compressible interfacial layer. In this work we intend to account, in the context of the previous analysis, the deformation of the elastic substrate. In order to clarify the roles of the film compressibility and the substrate deflection, we have studied two simple configurations : the first one is the case of an homogeneous elastic solid as interfacial layer, the second one is the case of a compressible Newtonian viscous fluid as interfacial layer. By reffering to experimental results, we have identified the rheological characteristics for three types of lubricant oils. The interface heterogeneity has been represented by two parietal solid layers with the same characteristics, separated by a fluid bulk. In order to obtain more information on the parietal layers rheology, we have studied their contact, assuming them to obey to hyperelastic behaviour laws associated to compressible Mooney - Rivlin elastic energy

La lubrification des mécanismes spatiaux embarqués sur des satellites est un enjeu technologique considérable compte tenu du cahier des charges imposé en terme d'exigences fonctionnelles et opérationnelles. Ce travail de recherche a pour objectif d'élargir les performances des lubrifiants solides déjà utilisés dans la plupart des missions, notamment le MoS2. Ces lubrifiants présentent actuellement une durabilité insuffisante, une forte sensibilité à l'environnement et produisent trop de débris d'usure. Parmi les couches minces à forte potentialité dans de nombreux domaines (microélectronique, optique, biomédical), les couches de type DLC (Diamond-like Carbon) présentent un très large spectre de structures et de compositions ajustables par les procédés de dépôt. Notre choix s'est porté sur l'optimisation d'une famille de couches DLC susceptibles de répondre au cahier des charges d'au moins une application spatiale. Nous avons élaboré et optimisé la composition et la structure d'un multicouche à gradient fonctionnel à base de titane, carbone et hydrogène Ti/TiC(H)/a-CH par un procédé hybride PVD/PECVD. Les dépôts, mis au point en collaboration avec le groupe HEF, ont été réalisés sur éprouvettes et sur pièces de mécanismes réels tels que des roulements. Nous avons montré que des frottements sous vide faibles et peu bruités sont liés à la teneur en hydrogène dans la couche superficielle, teneur qui doit être supérieure à 45 % at. L'adhérence de la couche carbonée sur les substrats est conditionnée par la couche à gradient fonctionnel à base de titane. Les tests sur tribomètre de laboratoire et sur les bancs d'essais du CNES (Toulouse) démontrent que les multicouches optimisées répondent à un premier niveau de sélection pour une application spatiale, en termes de valeur et de stabilité de frottement d'une part, de résistance à l'usure d'autre part. Parallèlement à cette étude à finalité technologique, nous avons approfondi significativement les mécanismes de frottement faible observé également sur des couches DLC modèles déposées sur silicium par le centre de recherche Watson d'IBM (U. S. A. ). Nous avons ainsi dégagé une meilleure compréhension du rôle de l'hydrogène, présent dans les couches DLC ou sous forme gazeuse dans l'environnement du contact, sur les valeurs de frottement stabilisé. Nous avons également démontré l'influence de la composition chimique des surfaces en contact sur la cinétique du régime de frottement transitoire précédent le régime stabilisé. Le concept de dureté chimique "Chemical Hardness" a été appliqué et discuté à partir des résultats expérimentaux. Ce travail, soutenu par la région Rhône-Alpes, a été réalisé en cotutelle entre deux laboratoires de l'Institut Européen de Tribologie, le Laboratoire de Tribologie et Dynamique des Systèmes de l'Ecole Centrale de Lyon, et le Laboratoire de Mécanique des Contact de l'INSA de Lyon<br>Lubrication of onboard space mechanisms is a key technological issue, considering the functional and operational requirements. This study aims to broaden the performances of solid lubricants already used in spacecraft, like MoS2. Current solid lubricants exhibit a short lifetime and a high sensitivity to environment, and they may pollute surrounding equipment due to wear debris formation. Among the thin coatings which arouse strong interests in various scopes (microelectronics, optics, biomedical. . . ), Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) coatings present a very large spectra of structures and compositions, that can be tuned by process type and parameters. We focused our research on the optimization of a range of DLC coatings that would be likely to meet the requirements of at least one. Thus, in collaboration with the HEF group, we have deposited and adjusted the composition and structure of a functionally graded layer based on titanium, carbon and hydrogen (Ti/TiC(H)/a-C:H) by an hybrid PVD/PECVD deposition chamber. These coatings were obtained on lab samples as well as on real mechanisms, like bail bearings. We have shown that low and noiseless friction under high vacuum were related to the hydrogen content in the top-layer, which should be more than 45 at. %. The adhesion of the coatings on their substrates depends on the titanium-based graded layer. Experiments performed on laboratory tribometers and test machines at CNES facilities (Toulouse) confirmed that the optimized functionally graded layers could be selected for further qualification, both in terms of low and stable friction and of wear resistance. Concomitantly to this technological study, we concentrated on the phenomena that lead to low friction values under vacuum, that were also obtained on DLC coatings deposited on silicon by IBM Watson Research Center (USA). A better understanding of the hydrogen role on stabilized friction could be achieved, either as an element included in the coating or as a gas surrounding the contact. We have also shown the effect of surface chemistry on the kinetics of transient friction preceding the stabilized regime. The concept of "Chemical Hardness" was applied and discussed from experimental results. The main purpose of this dissertation was to analyse and compare the attitudes of young people who lived in two different local contexts towards foreigners and immigrants. In the main study 36 teenagers, 17 from Bruksort and 19 from Industriort, were interviewed. Both local societies are rather small and dominated by one major industry, and a large number of the inhabitants are workers. Prospects for the future differed – in Bruksort people did not believe they had a future in the community because of the lack of jobs, while the people in Industriort felt a certain optimism in this respect, as the major industry was doing well. While Industriort had a long tradition and experience of immigration, Bruksort did not. Refugee camps were established in both societies in the early 1990s. The interviews brought up questions of attitude towards foreigners and immigrants. The analysis is also in part based on two pilot studies and an analysis of articles and letters to the editor in the local press, Industriort News and Bruksort Times during 1991-99. Two different discourses were analysed in the main study: the discourse of refugees, immigration, racism and anti-racism in the local press, and discourse of the young people´s discussions of those subjects. These two ways of talking were compared in order to discover possible patterns and changes in underlying thought figures in each town. The importance of the locality was demonstrated in the study. Young people are affected by political decisions, by demands made by adults and by the media. However young people are also being brought up in an active way by their own local society. The inhabitants of Bruksort were suspicious of strangers and of “the other”. However, in Industriort this sort of suspicion was only temporarily acted out towards the refugees in the camp and quickly dissipated because the refugees were integrated into the society. Also, a number of the young inhabitants in Industriort had an immigrant background themselves. The gender difference is notable; girls and boys narrated divergent versions of the events that had taken place involving the inhabitants and the refugees. The girls had a more emphatic way of reasoning about refugees and of the situation immigrants´ of than the boys. Boys on the other hand had been in conflict with the people from the refugee-camp and present juridical and economic arguments about Swedish immigration policies. It is concluded that creating meeting places where people from different ethnic backgrounds can get together and learn to know each other is of crucial importance. Also, the fact that young people seemed to be unaware of the anti-racist projects arranged by the school in Bruksort and the youth centre in Industriort a few years prior to the interviews, and that most of the teenagers interviewed felt that school had done too little, if anything, regarding the discussion of such matters as refugees, immigration and racism, emphasises the importance of more deliberate and longterm strategies as opposed to short term projects.

Plus les circuits sont devenus denses, plus les dimensions des transistors (largeur, longueur du canal, épaisseur de l'oxyde) se sont réduites et plus les problèmes de fiabilité de l'oxyde de grille deviennent importants. Dans les épaisseurs inférieures à 3nm, le courant en régime de déplétion devient mesurable et augmente après des contraintes électriques. L'augmentation de ce courant que nous avons appelé LVSILC (Low Voltage Stress Induced Leakage Current), n'affecte pas le fonctionnement des circuits car elle intervient seulement en régime de déplétion ou de faible inversion et non en leur point de polarisation usuel, mais elle permet de suivre la dégradation de l'oxyde et de prévoir la charge injectée qui provoquera le claquage de l'oxyde. Nos mesures montrent que le LVSILC est important jusqu'à au moins des épaisseurs de 1. 2nm. Nous avons constitué une base de données expérimentales sur l'évolution du LVSILC, dans les P et NMOSFET, en fonction de la tension et de la température de contrainte, pour différentes épaisseurs d'oxyde. Ceci nous a permis prédire la durée de vie des composants, en extrapolant ces données vers les conditions normales d'utilisation et de montrer que le mécanisme de dégradation est plus probablement lié à la libération d'espèces hydrogénés aux interface qu'à l'injection de trous créés dans l'anode par ionisation par impact. Nous avons également essayé de réaliser une caractérisation physique de l'oxyde par spectroscopie tunnel inélastique de jonction tunnel (IETS). Ce travail nous a permis d'identifier les différents modes phonons des électrodes (substrat, grille) ainsi que ceux de l'oxyde de grille. Nous avons pu également identifier les modes vibratoires de certains défauts ou certaines impuretés présentes dans l'oxyde de grille et induites lors du procédé de fabrication<br>More the integrated circuit density increases , more the transistor size (channel length and width, gate oxide thickness) decreases. Below 3nm oxide thicknesses, the current in depletion regime becomes measurable and increases after electrical stresses. The increase of this current, called LVSILC (Low Voltage Stress Induced Leakage Current), does not affect the device and circuit functionality because it is observed in depletion or weak inversion regimes and not at usual operating voltages, but it can be used to monitor the oxide degradation and to predict the charge to breakdown. We have realized an experimental data base on the LVSILC evolution, with stress voltages and temperatures, for various oxide thicknesses and in P and N-MOSFETs. This allow us to predict the device lifetime, and to show that the degradation mechanism is more probably linked to hydrogen release from the interface than to anode hole injection. We have also tried to realized a physical characterisation by inelastic electron tunnel spectroscopy (IETS). This work allow us to identify both electrode (substrate and gate) and gate oxide phonon modes. We have also identified the vibratory modes of some defects or impurities induced in the gate oxide during the fabrication process

La réduction continue des dimensions des dispositifs en microélectronique risque de ne plus être suffisante dans un futur proche pour suivre la tendance d'amélioration de ces trente dernières années. En cela, un fort intérêt est actuellement accordé aux voies alternatives de progrès. L'amélioration des propriétés des matériaux utilisés, entre autres grâce aux contraintes, ainsi que l'emploi de nouveaux matériaux, font partie des solutions les plus à l'étude. L'amélioration des propriétés des matériaux monocristallins peut être étudiée grâce à l'épitaxie en phase vapeur. Cette technique permet également d'envisager l'utilisation de nouveaux matériaux, tel que l'alliage Si1-xGex, contraint ou non, sur substrats silicim. Après avoir rappelé les principales caractéristiques de l'épitaxie du silicium-germanium, nous présenterons la croissance des couches épitaxiées de Si1-xGex relaxées sur substrats Si. Ces couches relaxées seront ensuite utilisées comme support pour mettre dans un état de contrainte en tension ou en compression de fines couches de Si1-xGex (0 ≤x ≤1)<br>The continuous shrinking of devices dimensions in microelectronics will likely not be sufficient enough in a near future to follow the trend of improvements of these last thirty years. In that, a strong interest is currently granted to the alternative ways of progress. Enhancing the materials properties, thanks to strain, and using new materials, are among the most studied solutions. Improving the properties of single-crystal materials can be conducted thanks to chemical vapor deposition. This technique also makes it possible to consider the use of new materials, such as Si1-xGex alloy, strained or not, on silicon substrates. After a review of the major characteristics of Si1-xGex epitaxy, we will present results on the growth of relaxed Si1-xGex layers on silicon substrate. Those relaxed layers will befurther used as template to induce some tensile or compressive strain in Si1-xGex (0 ≤x ≤1) thin layers

Cette thèse a été réalisée au sein du laboratoire GMMS à l’Université de Reims Champagne Ardenne. Elle s’inscrit dans le cadre du contrat de Plan Etat-Région « Simul-Endo » sur la simulation de l’emboutissage par Approche Inverse (AI) et Approche Pseudo Inverse (API) par éléments finis. Lors de la mise en forme de pièces minces et plus généralement de pièces mécaniques, les matériaux sont soumis à de grandes déformations irréversibles (de plusieurs dizaines de pourcents), au contact et au frottement entre pièces et outils ainsi qu’au transfert thermique entre pièces et outils. Ces grandes déformations (visco)-plastiques génèrent souvent des micro-défauts surfaciques ou volumiques qui se développent ensuite dans la pièce. L’évolution de ces défauts, au cours de la mise en forme, conduit à la formation de fissures macroscopiques pouvant être soit immédiatement visibles; impliquant la perte de celle-ci avant son utilisation, soit volumiques et non visibles rendant ainsi dangereuse la mise en service. La simulation numérique des procédés de mise en forme doit donc être en mesure de permettre à l’ingénieur de prévoir la possibilité d’apparition de zones endommagées dans la pièce au cours du déroulement du procédé virtuel. Cela lui permettra alors d’arrêter la simulation numérique (souvent coûteuse en temps de calcul en 3D) et d’agir sur les paramètres technologiques pertinents du procédé afin d’obtenir une pièce saine. L’objectif principal de cette thèse est la mise au point d’outils théoriques et numériques destinés à la simulation de l’emboutissage des tôles minces en vue d’optimiser la fabrication en tenant compte de l’endommagement<br>The present thesis has been carried out in the labaratory GMMS of Reims University, Champagne Ardenne. It was in the contract of the State-Region Plan « Simul-Endo » on sheet forming simulation using Inverse Approach and Pseudo-Inverse Approach by the FEM method. In the sheet forming process and more generally for mechanical pieces, the material is under grand irreversible deformation with the contact and the friction as well as the thermic transfer between the pieces and the tools. The grand (visco)- plastic deformations often generate the surfacic or volumic micro-defaults that develop then in the work-piece. The development of these defaults during the sheet forming causes the creation of the macroscopic crack that can be immediately visible or volumic and non-visible that make therefore the application dangerous. The numeric simulation of the sheet forming process must allow the engineer to anticipate the apparition possibility of the dammaged zone in the work-piece during the virtuel process. This will then allow to stop the numeric simulation (often expensive in terms of the computation time in 3D) and play on the technologic parameters of the process in order to obtain a good work-piece. Il est bien connu que la résonance de plasmon de surface (SPR) d'une onde électromagnétique de surface peut être utilisée en tant que sonde optique sensible à de faibles variations intervenant à l'interface métal/diélectrique. La configuration de Kreschmann basée sur un prisme est traditionnellement employée pour exciter et détecter le phénomène SPR. En 1993, le premier capteur SPR à fibre optique a été réalisé par R. C. Jorgenson et S. S. Yee et a été ensuite commercialisé par la société Biacore (Suède). Le capteur SPR à fibre optique présente un certain nombre d'avantages sur le système Kreschmann tels que sa faible taille, son faible coût et la possibilité de détection déportée. Un capteur SPR à fibre optique multimodale plus simple, utilisant l'injection oblique d'une lumière monochromatique collimatée, a été développé au laboratoire TSI de l'université Jean-Monnet de Saint-Etienne, en 1996. Utilisant l'argent pour induire le phénomène SPR d'une lumière à la longueur d'onde 670 nm, le capteur à fibre optique est un réfractomètre fonctionnant dans la gamme d'indice optique 1,35-1,40. Ce mémoire de thèse est constitué de cinq articles visant à développer ce type de capteur à fibre optique pour les applications physique, chimique et biologique. Le premier article traite de la modification de la gamme d'indice mesurable, afin d'être capable de fonctionner dans des systèmes chimiques et biologiques, dont les indices de réfraction sont compris entre 1,33 et 1,36. Les relations entre les paramètres de structure et de matériau, de la configuration multicouche pour l'excitation du SPR, ont été déduites de la théorie. La technique sol-gel est utilisée pour fabriquer un revêtement d'acétate de zirconium de quelques dizaines de nanomètres. La fiabilité est augmentée par une protection constituée d'une monocouche auto-assemblée de thiol longue chaîne qui empêche l'oxydation de l'argent. Ce premier article a été soumis à la revue Thin Solid Films. Les variations spatiales du vecteur champ électrique au cours de la propagation des rayons non méridiens dans la fibre multimodale sont étudiées dans le second article accepté pour publication dans la revue Sensors and Actuators A. Un modèle 3D précis a été établi permettant d'expliquer le phénomène expérimental observé sur l'influence de la direction de polarisation de la lumière incidente par rapport à la face d'entrée de la fibre. Les signaux du capteur provenant de l'adsorption d'une très fine couche diélectrique sur la surface du métal ou d'une très faible variation de l'indice de réfraction dans le milieu de mesure peuvent alors être interprétés quantitativement. L'article suivant, accepté pour publication à la revue Applied Optics, propose une méthode directe pour déterminer l'épaisseur et les constantes optiques d'un film mince de métal déposé sur le cœur de la fibre, par simple mesure de la réponse du capteur à fibre optique. L'intérêt de ce travail vient des difficultés rencontrées dans la caractérisation des films métalliques avec des surfaces courbes en utilisant des techniques optiques conventionnelles telles que la réflectométrie et l'ellipsométrie. Un nouveau moyen optique capable de suivre in-situ la formation d'une monocouche auto-assemblée d'alkylthiol est présenté dans le quatrième article, soumis au Journal of Chemical Physics. L'application de la technique SPR à fibre optique pour étudier les monocouches auto-assemblées, l'observation directe et la description du phénomène d'inclinaison des chaînes lors de l'auto-assemblage de la monocouche d'alkylthiol, à notre connaissance, n'a jamais été rapporté auparavant dans la littérature. La bonne sensibilité observée montre que notre approche du système à fibre optique est plus adaptée que l'ellipsométrie et que le système SPR à prisme pour suivre les variations sur la totalité d'un film diélectrique. Le dernier article, soumis au Japanese Journal of Applied Physics, est consacré au développement d'un biocapteur basé sur le système à fibre optique pour suivre des interactions entre biomolécules. Avec une très simple configuration, cet immunocapteur a montré de bonnes performances en sensibilité et en spécificité, comparé à l'appareil commercialisé par Biacore qui est beaucoup plus complexe et cher. Ce travail constitue un excellent départ vers le développement d'une immunosonde pour des immunoessais sans marqueur. Ces cinq articles sont indépendants mais complémentaires l'un de l'autre. Les conditions pour lesquelles le SPR peut être excité sur une géométrie multicouche, obtenues dans le premier article, fournissent une base théorique pour le choix de la longueur d'onde de la lumière ou pour la gamme d'indice du milieu environnant lorsque l'or est utilisé et se retrouve dans les autres articles. Les études du modèle 3D précis, présenté dans le second article, pour simuler les performances des capteurs à fibre optique, permettent ensuite de caractériser le film métallique (dans le troisième article), la couche chimique adsorbée (dans le quatrième article) et les couches biomoléculaires (dans le cinquième article). De plus, la mesure des propriétés du film métallique dans le troisième article, permet de détecter avec succès, la monocouche auto-assemblée d'alkylthiol adsorbée sur la surface du métal (en référence au quatrième article). Les déterminations des caractéristiques du film d'or et de la couche de thiol sont nécessaires pour caractériser le film d'anticorps et la couche d'anticorps-antigène après la réaction d'affinité. Ce biocapteur a été conçu, élaboré et caractérisé couche par couche<br>It is well known that surface plasmon resonance (SPR) of the surface electromagnetic wave can be used as a sensitive optical probe to the slight variations occurring in the proximity of the metal/dielectric interface. The prism-based Kretschmann configuration is traditionally employed to excite and detect the SPR. In 1993, the first fiber-optic based SPR sensor was realized by R. C. Jorgenson and S. S. Yee and then commercialized by Biacore Company (Sweden). The SPR fiber-optic sensor offers a number of advantages such as small size, low cost and feasibility in remote sensing over the bulk Kretschmann System. A simpler SPR multimode fiber-optic sensor using oblique injection of the collimated monochromatic light has been developed at the TSI laboratory, Jean Monnet University in Saint-Etienne, France since 1996. Using silver to support SPR at the light wavelength of 670nm, this fiber-optic sensor was characterized as a refractometer operating in the index range of 1. 35-1. 40. This dissertation consists of five articles aimed to develop this kind of fiber-optic sensor for physical, chemical and biological applications. The first article is devoted to drop down the range of measurable indices in order to be capable of performing in most practical chemical and biochemical Systems whose refractive indices are 1. 33-1. 36. The relations between the structural and material parameters of the multilayered configuration for the excitation of SPR at certain wavelength have been theoretically derived. Sol-gel technique is applied to fabricate the Zirconium acetate overlay as thin as some ten nanometers. The reliability is improved by preventing the oxidation of silver using a self-assembled monolayer (SAM) of long chain acid thiol. This article has been submitted to Thin Solid Films. Accepted by Sensors &amp; Actuators A, the spatial variations of the electric field vector during the propagation of the skew rays in the multimode fiber are investigated in the second article. An accurate 3D model has been established so that the experimental phenomena, which first demonstrate the influences of the polarization direction of the incident light with respect to the input end face of the fiber, can be consistently explained. The sensing signals coming from such as the adsorption of a very thin dielectric layer on metal surface or the slight variation of the refractive index in the monitored bulk medium are ready to be quantitatively interpreted. Next article, accepted for publication by Applied Optics, proposes a direct method to determine the thickness and the optical constants of the thin metal films deposited on the surface of the fiber core by simple measurements of fiber-optic SPR responses. The significance of this work cornes from the difficulties in characterizing the metal films with curved surfaces by using the conventional optical techniques such as reflectometry and ellipsometry. A novel optical means capable of monitoring the formation process of the alkylthiol SAM is presented in the fourth article, submitted to Journal of Chemical Physics. The application of the fiber-optic SPR technique to study SAMs and the direct observation and description of the tilting process during the self-assembly of alkylthiol, to our knowledge, have never been reported before in the literature. The rather high sensitivity proves that our fiber-optic approach is more adapted than ellipsometry and the prism-based SPR System to monitor the variations over entire investigated dielectric film. Last article, submitted to Japanese Journal of Applied Physics, is dedicated to develop a biosensor based on this fiber-optic arrangement to monitor the biomolecular interaction. With very simple configuration, this immunosensor has manifested good performances in both sensitivity and specificity compared to the commercialized BIACORE Probe that is much more complex and expensive. This work makes a starting progress towards the development of a portable immunoprobe for non-labeling immunoassay. These five articles are independent as well as supplementary each other. The conditions on which the SPR can be excited in a multilayered geometry, obtained in the first article, provide a theoretical basis for the choice of light wavelength or the index range of environment medium while metal gold is used as it can be seen in other articles. The studies of the accurate 3D model in the second article for simulating the performances of the fiber-optic sensors enable to characterize afterwards the metal film (in the third article), the chemical adsorbed layer (in the fourth article) and the functional biomolecular layers (in the 5th article). Moreover, the successful measurement of the metallic film properties in the third article ensures the success in the detection of the alkylthiol SAM, which is adsorbed on the metal surface (referred to the fourth article). Furthermore, the determinations of the gold film and the thiol layer are necessary for characterizing the antibody film and the antibody-antigen-binding layer after the affinity reaction. As a result, a new SPR multimode fiber-optic biosensor has been realized and reported in the 5th article. This biosensor has been well designed, elaborated and characterized at the level of its each layer

Cette étude démontre la possibilité de déposer, à basse température (200-300°C) et avec une puissance micro-onde limitée (220 W), des films de nitrure de silicium de qualité électronique (résistivité de 1015 Q. Cm) avec des propriétés physico-chimiques proches du nitrure de silicium stœchiométrique élaboré à haute température, et qui soit compatible avec une technologie de passivation de matériaux III-V. Des mesures par sonde de Langmuir ont permis de caractériser le plasma d'azote dans les conditions expérimentales utilisées. Une étude approfondie des propriétés électriques, structurales et physico-chimiques des films montre que les propriétés des films sont très dépendantes des paramètres de la source RCE et de la nature du substrat initial. Un procédé de passivation a été défini. Les traitements de surface combinent désoxydation chimique en voie humide et nitruration en voie sèche. Le dépôt de nitrure de silicium peut être réalisé depuis la température ambiante jusqu'à 300°C. Une étude des propriétés physico-chimiques et électriques des interfaces Si3N4/AlInAs et Si3N4/GaInAs a été réalisée. La préparation de surfaces idéales à partir de surfaces "technologiquement contaminées" et d'interfaces Si3N4/AlInAs et Si3N4/GaInAs de qualité à partir de surfaces vierges ou de surfaces technologiques, est délicate à optimiser, notamment en raison de la présence d'arsenic élémentaire, source d'états d'interfaces. Ce procédé de passivation a été appliqué avec succès sur des transistors HEMT et des photodiodes de la filière InGaAlAs/InP. Il est actuellement utilisé de façon courante au laboratoire pour passiver les composants optoélectroniques de type photodiodes<br>In this work, we present the possibilities of a low power (&lt; 250W) compact ECR (Electron Cyclotron Resonance) source to produce, at low deposition temperature (&lt; 300°C), high quality SiNx films compatible with III-V semiconductor devices. Nitrogen plasma and pure silane have been used as gas precursors. We have studied the effect of varying the main process parameters on the composition and properties of the films. The deposited films have been characterized in-situ by X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (XPS) and Spectroellipsometry and ex-situ by FTIR, Nuclear Reaction Analysis (NRA) and Energy Recoil Detection Analysis (ERDA), and finally I-V and C-V measurements. Each parameter has an optimal range of values or a threshold value necessary to obtain films with high dielectric quality. For a deposition temperature of 300°C, the best films exhibit a resistivity of 1015 Q. Cm and a breakdown voltage of 3 MV. Cm-1. The physicochemical properties of the films are close to those of stoichiometric silicon nitride. Strong correlations have been observed between the physicochemical and the electrical properties of the films, over the entire range of process parameters. A passivation process, based on surface treatments, oxide removal in solution, plasma nitridation and SiNx ECR plasma deposition, has been developed. The chemical and electrical properties of SiNx/AlInAs, SiNx/GaInAs and SiNx/InP interfaces have been investigated. Clean optimized surfaces appeared critical to achieve, mainly due to the existence of residual oxides and elemental arsenic at the interface, which is known to generate interface states. We have investigated the nitridation of non contaminated surfaces (i. E. Freshly grown by MBE without any contact with the atmosphere) and evaluated the materials and plasma process limitations. HEMT devices and InGaAlAs/InP based photodiodes have been successfully passivated using the previously defined passivation process

Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka elevers upplevelser av den betygsgrundande bedömningen inom ämnet idrott och hälsa. Studien syftar vidare till att undersöka hur lärarna tydliggör och praktiserar det arbete som tillhör den betygsgrundande bedömningen, såsom dokumentation och återkoppling. Studien bygger på åtta kvalitativa intervjuer varav fyra gymnasieelever som fått slutbetyg inom kursen idrott och hälsa 1, samt fyra legitimerade lärare med behörighet i ämnet. För teoretisk grund och genomförd analys har Bernsteins teori använts. Resultatet av studien visar att eleverna har svårt att se vad kunskaper inom ämnet är och att de snarare fokuserar på förutsättningar för bedömning än kunskaper. Det finns en viss brist på återkoppling inom ämnet som kan påverka elevernas syn på kunskap. Lärarna har svårt att med ord beskriva vad de bedömer, men studien pekar på att planering av bedömningstillfällen bidrar till en tydligare dokumentation och tydligare sammanfattning. Genom att lärare samlar in mer bedömningsmaterial som eleverna kan ta del av kan elevernas syn på kunskap inom ämnet idrott och hälsa utvecklas, samt ge en bättre uppfattning av vad som bedöms.<br>The purpose of this study is to investigate students' experiences of the grade based assessment in the subject of physical education. The study further aims to investigate how teachers clarify and practice the work that belongs to the grade based assessment, such as documentation and feedback. The study is based on eight qualitative interviews, of which four high school students who received a final grade in the course idrott och hälsa 1, as well as four certified teachers with eligibility for the subject. Bernstein's theory has been used for theoretical basis and analysis. The conclusion of the study is that the students have difficulty seeing what knowledge in the subject is and that they focus on conditions for assessment rather than knowledge. There is a certain lack of feedback within the subject that can affect students' views on knowledge. Teachers find it difficult to describe what they assess with word description, but the study indicates that planning of assessment opportunities contributes to clearer documentation and a clearer summary. By teachers collecting more assessment material that students can take part in, students' views on knowledge in the subject of physical education can be developed, as well as give a better idea of what is assessed.

L’objet de l’étude concerne la caractérisation physico-chimique des revêtements superficiels par microanalyse x et son application a l’étude des revêtements prothétiques phosphocalciques. Nous avons étudies les mécanismes de formation des phosphates de calcium par electrodeposition. Nous avons vérifie les hypothèses avancées par une étude portant sur l’influence de la densité de courant sur les phosphates de calcium électrodéposés. Pour caractériser ces revêtements, nous avons développé une méthodologie en microanalyse x basée sur la complémentarité de la microscopie électronique a balayage et de la microscopie électronique a balayage transmission. Par la suite, nous nous sommes intéressés aux cartographies quantitatives des films minces sur substrats. Nous avons illustre l’impact de l’hétérogénéité du substrat sur la quantification des films minces ; puis, nous avons présente TF_Quantif, l’algorithme de quantification (concentrations et épaisseurs) que nous préconisons pour s’affranchir de ces problèmes. Nous avons aussi mené une étude théorique pour déterminer les limites d’application de TF_Quantif. Enfin, nous avons présenté les développements logiciels et instrumentaux nécessaires a l’utilisation de TF_Quantif et nous avons effectue des profils et cartographies quantitatifs sur des films minces (de composition et d’épaisseur connue) sur substrats hétérogènes ainsi que sur un revêtement de phosphate de calcium. Les résultats ont été compares avec ceux obtenus par un logiciel de quantification que nous avons développé a partir du logiciel commercial STRATAGem (SAMx, France)<br>This work deals with electron probe microanalysis of thin films and its application to thickness and concentration determination in the case of prosthetic calcium phosphate coatings. In a first part, we have studied the formation mechanisms of calcium phosphate elaborated by electrodeposition. We carried out a methodology based on the complementarities of scanning electron microscopy and scanning transmission microscopy both associated to x-ray microanalysis. This method allowed us to verify our hypothesis about calcium phosphate formation and showed that the current density is directly connected to the kind of electrodeposited calcium phosphate. In a second part, we have carried out quantitative elemental mapping of thin film on heterogeneous substrate. Through different examples, we showed that substrate heterogeneity has a direct influence on the thin film quantification. We developed a new quantification algorithm called “tf_quantif” which allows us removing substrate effects during the analysis associated to a theoretical approach which determine the thickness limit of this method. Moreover, we presented the quantification software and experimental setup developed in order to use “tf_quantif”. Finally, we applied “tf_quantif” on quantitive profiles and maps on several kinds of thin films on heterogeneous substrate (including electrodeposited calcium phosphate coatings). The results were compared to those obtained from commercial software (stratagem, samx, france). We showed that our quantification algorithm gave better results in the case of thickness determination and could be successfully applied in the case of quantitative maps of thin film on heterogeneous substrate

<p>Syftet med denna undersökning är att belysa lärares erfarenheter av elever med funktionsstörningen ADHD inom ämnet Idrott och hälsa. Vi tror att de symptom som föreligger gör det svårt att anpassa undervisningen så att funktionsstörningen inte utgör ett problem. Problemen finns snarare i den omkringliggande miljön än hos eleven i sig. En pedagogisk tillrättalagd skola är därför en grundläggande förutsättning för att försöka lindra problemen. För att skapa en sådan skola finns det särskilt utarbetade åtgärder som kan tillämpas i undervisningen. Åtgärderna bygger på beprövad erfarenhet och ska förhindra att funktionsstörningen i förlängningen utvecklas till ett handikapp. Genom en kvalitativ metod har vi intervjuat lärare och tagit del av deras erfarenheter av elever med funktionsstörningen ADHD. Vi har också tittat lite närmre på vilka av dessa åtgärder som tillämpas i undervisningen och varför. Resultatet visar på att erfarenheterna är allt annat än positiva. Vi konstaterar att lärarna bara tillämpade åtgärder för att skapa en mer behaglig och trivsam undervisningssituation. Vi konstaterar också att lärarna sällan upplever sig vara förmögna att tillfredställa allas förutsättningar och behov, utan snarare är tvingade att rikta fokus mot det som anses viktigast – eleven med ADHD eller klasskamraterna.</p>

The aim of this thesis is to contribute to a better understanding of the FRA-law. The focus of the study is to examine how Swedish politicians relate to the new draft of this law on intelligence. Key themes in the study are security, threats, surveillance and privacy. The power relationship between the individual and the state is also examined. Empirical data used in this study consists of a spoken plenary debate in the House which was held in connection with the adoption of the FRA law in June 2008. Norman Fairclough&apos;s Critical Discourse Analysis is the method we used to examine the plenary debate. The analysis focuses on three major issues: text level, discursive practice and social practice. Within the textual level, two different approaches to the Bill were found; the majority argues for security in the form of increased surveillance and the opposition argues for the protection of privacy. Within the discursive practice, two discourses were identified; individual discourse that contains liberal overtones and collective discourse that include socialist and conservative overtones. Within the social practice, it was found that politicians and media contribute to the reproduction of power. The politicians believe that the surveillance is both necessary and problematic in relation to the protection of privacy. The results show that, when creating legislation around intelligence, it can be both complex and difficult to find a good balance between prevention of external threats from being realized and ensuring individuals&apos; privacy.

I detta examensarbete har det undersökts om digitala höjdmodeller, framställda från LIDAR-data som insamlats av Lantmäteriet, kan användas för komplettera och lokalisera nya bäckar och diken som inte finns med i Lantmäteriets databaser idag. I Lantmäteriets verksamhet karteras bäckar och diken först och främst idag med hjälp flygfotografier i stereo. Då metoden fungerar bra på öppen mark kan det vara svårt att urskilja bäckar under tät vegetation som till exempel barrskog. Metoden som använts för att lokalisera bäckar och diken går ut på att beräkna flödesriktningar och flödesackumuleringar i höjdmodellerna. I projektet testas hur metoden påverkas av höjdmodeller av olika upplösningar och ursprung. Förutom Lantmäteriets egna höjdmodeller testas en modell som tagit fram genom en så kallad B-spline interpolation av laserdata. Detta för att undersöka om Lantmäteriets modeller duger för att göra de hydrologiska beräkningar som krävs för att identifiera bäckar och diken. För att evaluera noggrannheten på bäckarna mäts ett antal bäckar och diken in under olika terräng- och vegetationstyper mot vilka en areaavvikelse per meter referensbäck och andelen som ligger under godkänt noggrannhetskrav i plan beräknas. Studien har visat att Lantmäteriets bäcklinjer under tät vegetation, främst barrskog, har en lägre noggrannhet än på öppen mark. Lantmäteriets egna höjdmodeller med 1 meters upplösning har visat sig prestera bäst eller likvärdigt med övriga modeller under dessa förhållanden och genererar bäckar med större noggrannhet än reda karterade bäcklinjer. Dock är metoden beroende av kompletterande information om bäckarnas utformning från till exempel flygfotografier eller fältstudier, eftersom genererade bäckar måste väljas ut manuellt. Detta gör att inga nya bäckar med absolut säkerhet kan lokaliseras med denna metod. Det rekommenderas därför att metoden endast används för att komplettera redan karterade bäckar och diken.<br>This Master thesis investigated whether digital elevation models, derived from LiDAR data collected by the Swedish mapping and surveying agency, Lantmäteriet, which is a public authority that manages geographic information in Sweden, can be used to map streams and dikes not included in their databases today. Today Lantmäteriet identifies streams and dikes mainly with the photogrammetric methods. The methods works well on open land, but it can be difficult to distinguish smaller streams and ditches covered by dense vegetation. The method used to locate streams and dikes is to calculate flow directions and flow accumulations in the height models. The project tests how the methods are influenced by elevation models with different resolutions and origins. In addition to the national elevation model, a new model interpolated from LiDAR-data was tested, using a so-called B-spline method. This was to find out if the model produced by Lantmäteriet is useful to make the hydrological calculations required to identify streams and dikes. In order to evaluate the accuracy of the streams, a number of reference stretches of streams and dikes were surveyed in areas with different terrain and vegetation types. The area deviation per meter reference stretch and the proportion below approved accuracy was calculated. The results shows that Lantmäteriet’s mapped watercourses under dense vegetation, mainly coniferous forest, have a lower accuracy than on open fields. Lantmäteriet’s height models with 1 meter resolution have been shown to perform best or equivalent to other models under these conditions, and generate broads with greater accuracy than finding marked pelvic lines. However, the method is dependent on supplementary information about the streams distribution from, for example, aerial photographs or field studies, as generated streams must be manually selected. This means that watercourses cannot be mapped accurately with this method. It is therefore recommended that the method should only be used for supplement already mapped streams and dikes.

Syftet med studien är att kvalitativt undersöka arbetsrelaterad stress bland socionomer. Studien är genomförd som en jämförelse med fokus på likheter och skillnader i upplevelsen av arbetsrelaterad stress mellan socionomer som arbetar med myndighetsutövning respektive socionomer som inte arbetar med myndighetsutövning. I studien har tio yrkesverksamma socionomer i en kommun i Mellansverige deltagit. Studien har analyserats med en kvalitativ innehållsanalys och resultatet har tolkats med utgångspunkt i de två teorierna krav-kontroll-stödmodellen och KASAM. Resultatet av studien visar att det förekommer både likheter och skillnader mellan grupperna avseende upplevelsen av arbetsrelaterad stress. Studien belyser vad som orsakar arbetsrelaterad stress, vilka följder arbetsrelaterad stress kan få, vad som motverkar arbetsrelaterad stress samt hur stress kan hanteras. Studien visar att en av de stora skillnaderna i upplevelsen av stress i arbetet kan härledas till de lagbefästa krav som återfinns i myndighetsarbete men inte förekommer i de socionomyrken som inte innebär myndighetsutövning. Vi har i studien kunnat konstatera att de faktorer som motverkar stress inte skiljer sig mellan de studerade grupperna och att den viktigaste motståndskraften till arbetsrelaterad stress är stöd från chef och kollegor.

Depuis sa découverte en 1964, l’étude du Fond Diffus Cosmologique dans le domaine des longueurs d’ondes millimétriques est devenue un enjeu majeur de la recherche expérimentale dans le domaine de la cosmologie. En particulier, ses anisotropies en température, mesurées pour la première fois par le satellite COBE puis plus finement par l’expérience WMAP et le satellite PLANCK. L’existence prédite d’anisotropies de polarisation du Fond Diffus Cosmologique est fait actuellement parti du champ d’expérimentation privilégié de l’étude du CMB. En effet, la preuve d’existence des modes B de polarisation, signature unique des ondes gravitationnelles primordiales, fait actuellement l’objet d’une recherche expérimentale intensive par le biais notamment de l’instrument BICEP2 qui aurait détecté sa signature en 2014 dans des valeurs du rapport tenseur sur scalaire r = 0,2. Le projet QUBIC fait parti de ces expériences destinées à révéler les modes B de polarisation grâce à son instrument basé sur la technique des interféromètres et sur le développement de matrice de bolomètres, demandant un champ d’investigation poussé englobant, entre autre, la physique des solides, la physique des basses températures et la cosmologie. La thèse présentée ici se situe dans ce cadre, avec pour objectif l’élaboration d’une matrice de bolomètres dont la performance et l’optimisation devrait permettre d’acquérir la sensibilité nécessaire à l’observation des modes B de polarisation. Les différentes techniques expérimentales acquises au CSNSM d’Orsay permettent en effet d’envisager l’optimisation des éléments clé de la matrice de bolomètre en s’appuyant notamment sur l’alliage amorphe de NbxSi1-x pour l’élaboration d’un senseur thermique optimisé, et sur un matériau novateur, l’alliage de titane-vanadium, pour la mise au point d’un absorbeur de rayonnement supraconducteur efficace, dont la faible chaleur spécifique doit permettre d’atteindre un temps de réponse du détecteur de l’ordre de la dizaine de milliseconde, valeur du temps de réponse nécessaire à une lecture efficace du signal du Fond Diffus Cosmologique. Le manuscrit de thèse ici présent a pour ambition de développer les principes physiques nécessaires au champ d’investigation du travail à accomplir. Ainsi, cette étude propose d’élaborer les différents éléments d’un bolomètre, réunissant un senseur thermique optimisé ainsi qu’un absorbeur de rayonnement de faible chaleur spécifique, permettant d’envisager la mise au point d’une matrice de bolomètres optimisée dans le cadre du projet QUBIC dont la campagne d’observation est prévue courant 2015 au dôme C du pôle Sud<br>Since its discovery in 1964, the study of the Cosmic Microwave Background (CMB) in the field as of millimetre-length wavelengths became a major stake of experimental research in the field of cosmology. In particular, its anisotropies in temperature, measured for the first time by satellite COBE then more finely by the experiment WMAP and the PLANCK satellite. The predicted existence of anisotropies of polarization of the Cosmic Microwave Background is currently been part of the privileged field of experimentation of the study of the CMB. Indeed, the proof of exists modes B of polarization, single signature of the paramount gravitational waves, currently is the object of an intensive experimental research by the means in particular of the instrument BICEP2 which would have detected its signature in 2014 in values of the tensor report on scalar R = 0.2. Project QUBIC makes party of these experiments intended to reveal the modes B of polarization thanks to its instrument based on the technique of the interferometers and the development of bolometers array, asking for a thorough field of investigation including, amongst other things, the solid state physics, the physics of the low temperatures and cosmology. The thesis presented here is within this framework, with for objective making of a bolometers array whose performance and optimization should make it possible to acquire the necessary sensitivity to the observation of the B-mode polarization. The various experimental techniques acquired with the CSNSM of Orsay indeed make it possible to consider the optimization of the key elements of the bolometers array while being pressed in particular on amorphous alloy of NbxSi1-x for making of an optimized thermal sensor, and on an innovative material, titanium-vanadium alloy, for the clarification of an effective superconducting absorber of radiation, whose low specific heat must make it possible to reach a response time of the detector about ten millisecond, value of the response time necessary to an effective reading of the signal of the Cosmic Microwave Background. The manuscript of thesis here present has as an ambition to develop the physical principles necessary to the field of investigation of work to be achieved. Thus, this study proposes to work out the various elements of a bolometer, joining together a thermal sensor optimized as well as an absorber of radiation of low specific heat, making it possible to consider the clarification of a bolometers array optimized within the framework of the project QUBIC whose observation campaign is envisaged during 2015 with the dome C of the south pole

Dans cette thèse, les phénomènes d’auto-échauffement ont été étudié pour guider la conception de circuits intégrés 3D de nouvelle génération. Grâce à des études expérimentales et numériques, la dissipation thermique dans des imageurs 3D par collage hybride a été analysée et l’impact de l’augmentation de température résultante a été évalué. Premièrement, afin de développer des modèles précis, les propriétés thermiques des matériaux utilisés dans les circuits intégrés ont dû être déterminées. Différents films minces diélectriques impliquant des oxydes, des nitrures et des composés low-k ont été étudiés. Pour ce faire, la microscopie thermique à sonde locale (SThM) et la méthode électrothermique 3ω, sensibles à la conductivité thermique effective faible et élevée, ont été mises en œuvre. Dans un deuxième temps, des modèles éléments finis de circuits intégrés 3D ont été développés. Une méthode numérique nécessitant homogénéisations et approches multi-échelles a été proposée pour surmonter des grands rapports de forme inhérents à la microélectronique. La procédure numérique a été validée en comparant les calculs et les mesures expérimentales effectuées par SThM, la thermométrie résistive et la microscopie infrarouge sur une puce de test par collage hybride simplifiée. Il a été montré que la dissipation de chaleur est principalement limitée par la conductance du puit thermique ainsi que les pertes par l'air. Enfin, des études numériques et expérimentales ont été réalisées sur des imageurs 3D par collage hybride fonctionnels. Le champ de température a été mesuré par SThM et comparé aux calculs par éléments finis à la surface de la matrice. Les résultats numériques ont montré que la température de la surface des pixels est égale à celle du Front-End-Of-Line de l’imageur. L'influence de l'échauffement sur les performances optiques de l'imageur a été déduite de cette analyse. Cette étude a permis également d'évaluer les différentes méthodes numériques et expérimentales pour la caractérisation de la dissipation de chaleur en microélectronique<br>In this PhD thesis, self-heating phenomena are studied for guiding the design of next-generation 3D Integrated Circuits (ICs). By means of experimental and numerical investigations, associated heat dissipation in 3D Hybrid Bonding imagers is analyzed and the impact of the resulting temperature rise is evaluated. First, in order to develop accurate models, the thermal properties of materials used in ICs are to be determined. Different dielectric thin films involving oxides, nitrides, and low-k compounds are investigated. To do so, Scanning Thermal Microscopy (SThM) and the 3ω electrothermal method, sensitive to low and large effective thermal conductivity, are implemented. In a second step, finiteelement models of 3D ICs are developed. A numerical method involving homogenization and a multiscale approach is proposed to overcome the large aspect ratios inherent in microelectronics. The numerical procedure is validated by comparing calculations and experimental measurements performed with SThM, resistive thermometry and infrared microscopy on a simplified Hybrid Bonding test chip. It is shown that heat dissipation is mainly limited by the heat sink conductance and the losses through air. Finally, numerical and experimental studies are performed on fully-functional 3D Hybrid Bonding imagers. The temperature field is measured with SThM and compared with finite-element computations at the die surface. The numerical results show that the temperature of the pixel surface is equal to that of the imager Front-End-Of-Line. The influence of the temperature rise on the optical performance of the imager is deduced from the analysis. The study also allows assessing the various numerical and experimental methods for characterizing heat dissipation in microelectronics
