Abstract:

It is challenging to disperse lipophilic substances in a validated cytotoxicity assay, especially for compounds with log Kow greater than or equal to 5 that may show false negative results. A espécie Minthostachys setosa (Briq.) Epling é uma planta arbustiva aromática da família Lamiaceae que ocorre ao longo dos Andes, da Venezuela até a Argentina. A utilização popular dessa planta para diferentes fins medicinais demanda a investigação dos seus efeitos farmacológicos.
