Abstract:

Abstract This study investigates the potential of fluctuating flows to enhance mist evaporation — a dimension that has not been systematically investigated in prior research. Controlled wind tunnel experiments were conducted to explore the influence of fluctuating airflow in comparison to constant airflow on misting processes. The outcomes unveiled that mist-cooled flows subjected to fluctuating airflow exhibited lower temperatures and higher humidity values compared to those under constant airflow at a steady state. Abstract:

Dönemin düşünürleri gerilemenin önüne geçmek ve dışarıdan gelebilecek tehlikelere karşı koymak için modernleşmenin gerekliliğine inanmışlardı. Bunun için toplumsal bir dönüşümün gerçekleştirilmesi gerekmekteydi. Sürecin iyi bir şekilde sonuçlanması için eğitimli topluma ihtiyaç vardı. Bu gibi ihtiyaçlar göz önünde bulundurularak eğitimin önemi, okulların durumu, hoca-öğrenci münasebetleri, bilim, fen gibi konularla ilgili tartışmalar başlamıştı. Bu yüzden dönemin düşünürleri mevcut okullardaki sorunlara değinerek bu süreçte nelerin yapılması gerektiğine dair kendi görüşlerini belirtmişlerdir.

This paper presents a numerical comparison of the flow and conjugate heat transfer characteristics about the internal cooling of a nozzle guide vane with three kinds of coolants, including air, steam and mist/steam. Five radial cooling channels are established inside the vanes. The Reynolds-averaged Navier–Stokes equations, coupled with a fully-developed Shear Stress Transport (with γ-θ transition) turbulent model, are adopted and solved.
