Introduction. Malignant tumours of ovary germ epithelium are very rare and account for about 2-5% of all ovarian tumours of germ origin. The influence of L(+)-ascorbic acid sodium salt (ascorbate), as a widely used antioxidant, on the anti-human melanoma A375 activity of a monolacunary Wells-Dawson polyoxometalate (mono- WD), α2-K10P2W17O61.20H2O was assessed in this study.
