Dans ce travail, nous nous proposons d'étudier des groupes de villages de la provinces d'Izumi durant l'époque d'Edo (1600 - 1868), afin de mettre en avant des types d'organisations sociales sortant des cadres institutionnels connus ainsi que les particularismes des localités étudiées.Ces ensembles de villages étant liés à la présence d'un sanctuaire commun (en plus des sanctuaires propres à chaque village ou hameau), nous partirons des relations établis entre ces établissements religieux et les groupes de villages qui leur sont liés, explorant le mode d’organisation des fidèles, leurs interactions avec les autorités seigneuriales ou shogunales. Nous nous intéresserons également à la structure interne du sanctuaire et les rôles des différents desservants, prêtres shintô et moine bouddhistes, notamment au travers des disputes qui les déchirent. Cela nous amènera également à nous interroger sur le rôle des organisations religieuses et tout particulièrement celui des organisations de prêtres shintô centrées sur les maisons curiales Yoshida ou Shirakawa, qui prennent leur essor durant cette époque.C’est en ce sens que nous nous pencherons sur les sanctuaires Kasuga, Hijiri, Kaminomiya et Shimonomiya, et Ôiseki. Explorant les groupes de villages qui leurs sont liés, nous nous attacherons à mettre en avant les interactions entre quatre groupes : les fidèles, le sanctuaire, les prêtres shintô et les moines bouddhistes. This dissertation examines several groups of villages in Izumi Province during the Edo period (1600 - 1868). It seeks to elucidate the non-institutional social organizations and unique characteristics of those villages. Each of the groups of villages examined in this study were closely linked with a particular Shintô shrine. This dissertation begins by analyzing the relationship between shrines and the groups of villages with which they were linked. It will then examine the functions performed by the parishioner organizations of each shrine, as well as the relationship between parishioner organizations, on the one hand, and the local authorities and shogunate, on the other. It will also investigate each shrine’s social structure and the role of Shintô priests and Buddhists monks. This dissertation will also highlight the range of shrine-related conflicts and disputes that occurred in Izumi Province during the Edo period. Furthermore, it will examine the role that religious organizations, such as the Yoshida and Shirakawa priestly orders, played in early modern society. Specifically, this dissertation focuses on five shrines in Izumi Province: Kasuga, Hijiri, Kaminomiya, Shimonomiya, and Ôiseki. Through an examination of those five shrines, this dissertation will study the interaction between four groups: local parishioners, Shintô shrines, Shintô priests, and Buddhist monks. Such an analysis will enable us to elucidate the unique characteristics of the villages surrounding each shrine, the various non-institutional organizations that developed in those villages, and the internal social structure of each shrine

Suzuki–Miyaura -ristiinkytkentä on yksi tänä päivänä eniten käytetyistä menetelmistä, joilla muodostaa uusia C–C -sidoksia eri yhdisteiden välille. Menetelmää käytetään paljon varsinkin hienokemikaalien ja lääkeaineiden valmistuksessa. Reaktion etuina ovat sivutuotteiden helppo poistettavuus sekä reaktion toimintavarmuus, vaikka reaktiossa olisi läsnä useita erilaisia funktionaalisia ryhmiä. Reaktiossa halogenoitu aryyli-/allyyliryhmä ja boorihappo-/boorihappoesteriryhmän sisältävä aryyli-/allyyliryhmä kytkeytyvät toisiinsa Pd-avusteisessa katalyyttisessa syklissä. Syklissä booriryhmä muodostaa suolan halogeenin kanssa ja syntyy uusi sidos orgaanisten ryhmien välille. Lisätty emäs sekä Pd:iin liittyvät ligandit ovat erittäin tärkeitä tekijöitä reaktion toiminnan kannalta. Menetelmää on tutkittu paljon, mutta reaktioiden mono- ja regioselektiivisyyttä ei pystytä vielä ennustamaan varmasti. Kytkennän paikka tiedetään, jos reaktiossa käytetään monohalogenoitua yhdistettä sekä boorihapporeagenssia. Tilanne kuitenkin vaikeutuu merkittävästi, jos reaktiossa käytetään polyhalogenoitua lähtöainetta. Tällaisessa tilanteessa selektiivisyyttä on lähes mahdoton ennustaa ilman kokeellisia tutkimuksia. Tässä pro gradu -tutkielmassa on selvitetty eri tekijöitä jotka vaikuttavat dihalogenoitujen yhdisteiden mono- ja regioselektiivisyyteen. Tämän lisäksi tutkielmassa käsitellään useita reaktioita, joissa mono- tai regioselektiivisyys on saavutettu reaktio-olosuhteita muuttamalla tai käyttämällä ohjaavia ryhmiä. Tutkielmassa käydään läpi myös reaktioita, joissa regioselektiivisyys on saavutettu molempiin halogenoituihin hiiliin muuttamalla reaktio-olosuhteita. Näiden reaktioiden pohjalta on esitetty tärkeimmät tekijät, joiden avulla kytkentöjen selektiivisyyttä voitaisiin mahdollisesti pystyä ohjaamaan haluttuun paikkaan.

The aim of this work is to present a proof of the Hitchin-Thorpe and Miyaoka-Yau inequalities. First we provide an orthogonal decomposition for the curvature tensor, and then we show how the curvature operator can be defined from the curvature tensor. In order to fulfill the proposed objective, we prove the Gauss-Bonnet Theorem in dimension 4, to do this we use a result due Allendoerfer and we present an integral formula for the Euler characteristic computation on a Riemannian 4-manifold. Furthermore, we define the concept of signature in a Riemannian manifold e we exhibit an integral formula for the achievement of this object, for this we use the Hirzebruch Signature Theorem in di- mension 4 and the Chern-Weil Theory which provides us a connection between algebraic topology and differential geometry. Finally, we show how the earlier formulas can be used in the demonstration of the initial inequalities.
O objetivo desse trabalho é fornecer uma demonstraçao para as desigualdades de Hitchin-Thorpe e Miyaoka-Yau. Inicialmente forneceremos uma decomposição ortogonal para o tensor curvatura, em seguida mostraremos como o operador curvatura pode ser definido a partir do tensor curvatura. Com o intuito de cumprir o objetivo proposto, iremos provar o Teorema de Gauss-Bonnet em dimensão 4, para isso utilizaremos um resultado devido a Allendoerfer e forneceremos uma fórmula integral para o cálculo da característica de Euler de uma variedade Riemanniana de dimensão 4. Além disso, definiremos o conceito de assinatura em uma variedade Riemanniana e exibiremos uma fórmula integral para a obtenção deste objeto, para isso utilizaremos o Teorema de Assinatura de Hirzebruch em dimensão 4 e pouco da Teoria de Chern-Weil que nos fornece uma conexão entre a topologia algébrica e a geometria diferencial. Por fim, mostraremos como as fórmulas que foram obtidas podem ser utilizadas na demonstraçao das desigualdades citadas inicialmente.

Abstract:
L'écrivain Miyazaki Koshoshi (1864-1922) a été actif et célèbre à la fin du XIXe siècle. Ses travaux ont influencé plusieurs écrivains de la période suivante. Il est pourtant presque oublié aujourd'hui. L'objectif de la présente thèse est donc d'analyser ses œuvres qui, pour la plupart, sont méconnues, et de faire apparaître son rôle dans le développement de la littérature japonaise moderne. La première publication de Koshoshi est un texte critiquant la société et, très tôt, il se sent appelé à consoler, avec ses textes, les êtres humains qui vivent dans les difficultés. Cette attitude s'appuie sur sa liberté d'esprit élevée grâce à son éducation particulière et aussi sur sa foi dans la religion chrétienne. Dans Kisei (Le Retour au pays natal, 1890), il introduit différents éléments textuels anciens et nouveaux sans hésitation. Ce travail donne, d'après les critiques de l'époque, l'impression d'une fraîcheur dans l'écriture. Le thème de ce récit, le retour au pays natal d'un jeune homme habitant à la capitale, suscite la sympathie des lecteurs qui vivaient dans une situation comparable, enclins à une forte nostalgie. En 1893, il publie la première biographie complète de William Wordsworth en japonais. L'assimilation des idées de ce poète anglais, notamment sur la relation entre la nature et les êtres humains, se manifeste dans ses œuvres postérieures. Malgré tout cela, en 1898, Koshoshi quitte le monde des lettres et ses activités se dirigent vers le monde religieux. Ce choix nous montre le sort d'un intellectuel de l'époque qui chercha à conserver avec honnêteté sa propre identité dans une période historique mouvementée
The writer Miyazaki Koshoshi (1864 – 1922) was active and famous in the end of the 19th century. His works influenced several writers of the next period. Still, he is scarcely known today. So this thesis aims at analyzing his works (most of them are misknown), and showing his role in the development of Japanese modern literature. Koshoshi's first publication is a text which criticizes society, and he soon feels destined to comfort with his texts, the human beings who live in difficulties. This attitude relies on his independence of mind, owing to his particular education, and also on his faith in Christian religion. In Kisei (The Return to the native land, 1890), he introduces various, past and new, textual elements without hesitating. This work, according to the critics at the time, gives an impression of freshness in his writing. The theme of this story, the return of a young man living in the capital to his native land, arouses the sympathy of the readers who lived in a similar situation, inclined to a great homesickness, especially on the relationship between nature and human beings, appears in his later works. In spite of a that, in 1898 Koshoshi leaves the world of letters and his activities turn towards the religious world. This choice shows us the destiny of an intellectual of that time who tried to preserve with honesty his own identity in a eventful historic period

The film narratives of Japanese animation director Hayao Miyazaki - theme of this research - expose some issues that involve life in society by questioning situations and stereotypes through their hybrid aesthetics, and mainly through their female characters In this way, we take as theoretical object the consumption of aesthetics hybrid - in which the female characters are found - and the layers of memory there involved. In this sense, this research has as general objective to identify the composition of the female representations and how the transgressive character of them is given. We adopt specific objectives: to understand how the anime genre emerged and to contextualize the course of Hayao Miyazaki as director of animation. Understand how Hayao Miyazaki are embedded in a context of production and media consumption, demonstrating negotiations between the director and the animation industry. Verify that his aesthetic is constructed, from the textual memory and analysis of the composition of the scenarios, characters, plot, costumes and other aspects. Analyze how make up the female representations in the works of Hayao Miyazaki and, finally, to verify how the female characters produce a representation of memory that subverts the memory of what we understand as a Japanese woman. For this, an analysis is made from a corpus of ten works scripted and directed by the director [Ponyo: A Friendship that Came of the Sea (2008), the Service of Deliveries of Kiki (1989), The Castle animated (2004), Princess Mononoke (1997), My Friend Totoro (1988), Porco Rosso: The Last Romantic Hero (1992), Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind (1984), Lives to the Wind (2013), The Journey of Chihiro (2001), The Castle in the Sky (1986)]. In order to highlight the female characters, formulating a methodological framework dividing them into six phases: children, girls, youth, adults, mothers and the elderly. Using the basilar pillars: consumption and communication; memory; women were bibliographical and documentary research, mobilizing authors such as Lotman, Le Goff, Halbwachs, Pollak, Canclini, Rocha, Martel, Miyazaki, Luyten, Barbosa Junior, Sato, Laurel, Hane, among others, with different theoretical contributions. The results demonstrate that the awakens, through his women and his hybrid aesthetics, a critical thinking in which one makes possible to question about aspects concretized by society and to think about the possibility of change and restart.
As narrativas fílmicas do diretor de animação japonês Hayao Miyazaki – tema da presente pesquisa – expõem algumas questões que envolvem a vida em sociedade ao questionar situações e estereótipos através da sua estética híbrida, e principalmente por meio das suas personagens femininas. Desta forma, tomamos como objeto teórico o consumo da estética híbrida – na qual se encontram as personagens femininas – e das camadas de memória aí implicadas. Nesse sentido, esta investigação tem como objetivo geral identificar a composição das representações femininas e como se dá o caráter transgressor das mesmas. Adotamos como objetivos específicos: compreender como surgiu o gênero animê e contextualizar o percurso de Hayao Miyazaki como diretor de animação. Entender de que forma as obras de Hayao Miyazaki estão inseridas em um contexto de produção e consumo midiático, demonstrando negociações feitas entre o diretor e indústria de animação. Verificar de que maneira é construída sua estética, a partir da memória textual e análise da composição dos cenários, das personagens, do enredo, do figurino e outros aspectos. Analisar como se compõem as representações femininas nas obras de Hayao Miyazaki e, por fim, verificar como as personagens femininas produzem uma representação de memória que subverte a memória do que entendemos como mulher japonesa. Para tal, é feita uma análise a partir de um corpus de dez obras roteirizadas e dirigidas pelo diretor [Ponyo: Uma Amizade que Veio do Mar (2008), O Serviço de Entregas da Kiki (1989), O Castelo Animado (2004), Princesa Mononoke (1997), Meu Amigo Totoro (1988), Porco Rosso: O Último Herói Romântico (1992), Nausicaä do Vale do Vento (1984), Vidas ao Vento (2013), A Viagem de Chihiro (2001), O Castelo no Céu (1986)]. De modo a destacar as personagens mulheres, formulando um quadro metodológico dividindo-as em seis fases: crianças, garotas, jovens, adultas, mães e idosas. Valendo-se dos pilares basilares: consumo e comunicação; memória; mulheres, foram adotadas pesquisas bibliográficas e documentais, mobilizando autores como Lotman, Le Goff, Halbwachs, Pollak, Canclini, Rocha, Martel, Miyazaki, Luyten, Barbosa Júnior, Sato, Louro, Hane, entre outros, com diferentes aportes teóricos. Os resultados demonstram que o diretor desperta, através de suas mulheres e sua estética híbrida, um pensamento crítico no qual se faz possível questionarmos a respeito de aspectos concretizados pela sociedade e pensarmos na possibilidade de mudanças e recomeço.

Abstract:
Miyazawa Kenji (1896-1933), an exceptionally prolific poet and children's story writer, was little appreciated by his contemporaries, but after his death his literary fame grew rapidly. This neglect can be traced to a lack of understanding of Kenji's cosmology which gave rise to his unique sense of innocence. He expressed this sense of innocence through both his literature and his life. This dissertation is an attempt to clarify the nature of Kenji's idea of innocence as exemplified, specifically, in his tales. Chapter 1 presents a biographical sketch of Kenji. It provides the necessary contextual information for analyzing his tales and explores the ways in which he expressed innocence in his life. Indeed, Kenji's life closely parallels his literature and can be seen as a "meta-text," as yet another tale whose central theme is innocence. Chapter 2 dicusses the relationship between Kenji's ideas of innocence and "the other world," or ikukan. in terms of certain dichotomies such as Iwate (nature) vs. Tokyo (culture), art (imagination) vs. life (reality), and life vs. death. These conceptual pairs will also be considered in relation to another opposition, the center-periphery or "unmarked-marked" opposition. Chapters 3 and 4 focus on how Kenji uses symbolism in his tales to express his ideas of innocence. Ideas from a wide variety of sources, including psychoanalytic theory, various schools of literary criticism, anthropology and religion, are used in analyzing Kenji's symbolism. These chapters will establish that Kenji's innocence is of cosmic scale and is often expressed through mandala-like images in which the center and the periphery interpenetrate. Chapter 5 examines stylistic features of Kenji's tales such as his use of Iwate dialect, songs, onomatopoeia, and scientific vocabulary, in their relationship to the Issues of innocence, ikukan and the center-periphery dichotomy. The conclusion attempts to provide a synthetic view of innocence in Kenji. This chapter argues that Ken j is ideas of innocence are best understood in relation to his cosmology which can be explained in terms of a special type of cyclicity and circularity. Indeed, the structure of Kenji"s universe may be compared to that of the Mobius strip in which ends are connected to beginnings through a simple half twist; this built-in twist generates the vital and energetic innocence seen in Kenji's literature as well as in his life.

Abstract:
Since its discovery in 1979, the Suzuki-Miyaura (SM) reaction has become one of the most widely utilised tools for carbon-carbon bond formation. The palladium catalysed coupling of an organoboron and organohalide compounds proceeds through a three-stage mechanism of oxidative addition, transmetalation and reductive elimination. The transmetalation of boronic acids to a palladium(II) complex has been widely studied. However, very little is known about the transmetalation of boronic esters, which are commonly used as an alternative to unstable boronic acids. Whether these species undergo direct transmetalation or prior hydrolysis to the boronic acid under SM conditions remains unknown. This research aimed to elucidate the mechanism of this cross-coupling process. Initial results under typical SM conditions created a biphasic reaction, promoted by the inorganic base and solvent composition, and showed that the boronic esters and corresponding boronic acid couple at the same absolute rate. This is thought to be a consequence of the formation of a biphasic mixture, rendering phase transfer the turnover-limiting step. The conditions were thus adapted to maintain a monophasic system using an organic soluble base, 2-tert-butyl-1,1,3,3-tetramethylguanidine, enabling the focus to be transmetalation as the turnover-limiting step. These new conditions show a significant difference in both reaction rate and induction period when using a boronic ester compared to the corresponding boronic acid. The use of guanidine was also shown to have an interesting effect on the boronic acid/ester species by 19F and 11B NMR. Further studies found the use of guanidine to create a boronate species, with this species being an aryl trihydroxyboronate or the hydroxyl"ate"-complex of the boronic ester, depending on the presence of diol in the system. Formation of a boronate species was found to be crucial for efficient cross-coupling. When testing weaker bases, unable to form a boronate species, poor SM cross-coupling conversion was found using the newly developed phosphine-free guanidine conditions, showing the importance of the boronate species under these conditions. The results suggest that depending on the strength of base used, the pathway of transmetalation pathway can be switched, between the boronate pathway and the oxo-palladium pathway, under the specific conditions developed.

La réaction de couplage croisé de Suzuki-Miyaura, catalysée par le palladium(0), entre un halogénure aromatique et un acide arylboronique, est l’une des réactions les plus utilisées pour la synthèse de biaryles. La particularité de cette réaction est qu’elle nécessite la présence d’une base. Le rôle de la base n’est pas bien défini dans la littérature où plusieurs hypothèses sont proposés, dans lesquelles la base jouerait un rôle dans l'étape de transmétallation. Nous avons étudié le rôle de la base (hydroxydes, carbonates, fluorures) dans l’étape de transmétallation grâce à des méthodes électrochimiques et spectroscopiques. Nous nous sommes également intéressés aux effets induits par les contre cations. Nous avons alors mis en évidence un quadruple rôle de la base. Elle¨permet la formation des complexes trans-ArPd(OH)(PPh3)2 (ou trans-ArPdF(PPh3)2) qui réagissent avec l'acide arylboronique et celle des ions arylborates à partir de l'acide arylboronique. Cet ion arylborate est non réactif vis-à-vis des complexes de palladium(II). Comme sa formation se fait au détriment d’une espèce active, ce deuxième effet de la base ralentit la réaction. La base est donc responsable de deux effets antagonistes dans l’étape de transmétallation. La base joue également un rôle accélérateur dans l’étape d’élimination réductrice, en favorisant la formation du complexe de Pd(0) et du produit de couplage. Le contre cation ralentit la réaction de transmétallation par complexation au ligand hydroxo des complexes trans-ArPd(OH)(PPh3)2. L’ensemble de nos résultats nous a permis d’élucider le mécanisme de la réaction de Suzuki-Miyaura

Si è partiti dall’analisi del rapporto tra fotografia e moda e di come esse si valorizzino a vicenda. Le diverse interpretazioni che i fotografi hanno dato ai suoi abiti hanno attribuito loro un nuovo significato che dimostra la loro versatilità. Successivamente si è considerato il rapporto cliente-creatore e il forte legame creatosi con i clienti insegnando loro ad apprezzare e, soprattutto, a rispettare le sue creazioni attraverso diversi mezzi comunicativi: le esposizioni, le pubblicità, le sfilate e i negozi. Il terzo capitolo riguarda le collaborazioni che Miyake ha avuto con artisti contemporanei e si concentra sulla diversa interpretazione che ogni artista conferisce al corpo. Nel quarto capitolo si analizza il rapporto tra tradizione e innovazione. Miyake ha riportato alla luce, valorizzandole, tecniche e tessuti tradizionali di varie culture; allo stesso tempo, si è dedicato allo studio di nuovi materiali e di nuove tecniche di produzione come l’A-POC. Ce travail est une description linguistique du dialecte d'Ogami, une variété de miyako, une langue japonique en voie de disparition parlée dans le sud des Ryukyu. Les données ont été recueillies sur le terrain par l'auteur. Sur le plan phonologique, ce dialecte se distingue par son inventaire segmental réduit et par la caractéristique rarissime dans les langues du monde de posséder des syllabes et des mots entiers sans aucune voyelle ni son voisé. L'analyse des travaux précédents considérant que ces syllabes ont pour noyau des voyelles dévoisées est réfutée sur la base d'arguments acoustiques et morphophonologiques. Plusieurs chapitres sont consacrés aux différentes parties du discours, aux marqueurs de cas et de rôles pragmatiques, ainsi qu'à leur morphologie. Les principaux faits de syntaxe du syntagme nominal et de la phrase sont ensuite décrits. Une attention particulière est accordée aux constructions séquentielles et à la désubordination des converbes: certains converbes ont en effet acquis la possibilité d'apparaître à la tête de phrases indépendantes, notamment avec une valeur de passé. Dans une partie sur la diachronie, l'auteur entreprend une classification phylogénétique des langues ryukyu puis des dialectes de Miyako. L'auteur procède ensuite à la reconstruction du proto-miyako sur la base de cinq dialectes. Les systèmes phonologique, casuel et verbal sont reconstruits. Le proto-miyako est ensuite comparé au japonais et plusieurs contributions à la reconstruction du proto-japonique sont proposées
This dissertation is a linguistic description of the Ogami dialect of Miyako Ryukyuan, an endangered Japonic language of the Southern Ryukyus. The data have been collected by the author during fieldwork. Ogami has a relatively small-sized phoneme inventory. It has the very rare characteristic of allowing syllables and words without vowels nor any other voiced sound. Previous analyses positing devoiced vowels in the nucleus of such syllables are refuted on the basis of acoustic and morphophonological evidence. The different word classes, case markers and pragmatic role markers, as well as their morphology, are described in several chapters. An overview of the syntax of the noun phrase and the sentence is given. Special attention is paid to the clause chaining system and desubordination of converbs: some converbs have acquired the ability to head independent sentences, with, for example, a past tense value. This is followed by several chapters on diachronic issues. First, a phylogenetic classification of the Ryukyuan languages and then of the Miyako dialects is proposed. The phonology, noun morphology and verbal system of proto-Miyako are then reconstructed on the basis of data from five dialects. Proto-Miyako is compared to Japanese and several contributions to the reconstruction of proto-Japonic are proposed

Abstract:
Boronic acids and esters are one of the most widely used compound classes inorganic chemistry. Recently, diboron systems have emerged as a powerful approach towards complex molecule synthesis. Selectivity in these systems is typically achieved through the use of protecting group strategies in which one boron residue is rendered unreactive under the prevailing reaction conditions, allowing selective manipulation of an unprotected unit. However, while these methods offer excellent selectivity, they do have the drawback of requiring additional synthetic manipulations, i.e., removal of the protecting group to allow subsequent functionalisation, limiting the overall efficiency of these processes. Boronic acids and esters undergo complex equilibria in solution. We have shown that control of these equilibria has been leveraged during the Suzuki-Miyaura reaction to enable the formation of a new, reactive BP in ester without the need for additional protecting group manipulations. Extensive optimisation identified that the nature of the base and quantity of water in the reaction were key in controlling the speciation events in the reaction. This allowed the generation of a broad substrate scope of formally homologated BPin esters. These newly generated reactive boron species were then reacted in situ in an iterative process, forming either terminal triaryl or contolled homologation products. The reaction was also found to have a temperature dependence, where under identical controlled basic conditions either the homologated BPin or the cross-coupled BMIDA species could be obtained based purely upon the temperature of the reaction. A series of control reactions aided in identifying the key processes in the reaction and, more importantly, the order in which these processes must occur in order to achieve the desired reaction. This work led to the development of methods to enable chemoselective reactions within non-protected diboron systems. This demonstrated how chemoselective Suzuki-Miyaura cross-coupling can be achieved within boronic acid/BPin esterdiboron systems by exploiting kinetic control of transmetallation while maintaining control of solution speciation events. This allows the selective reaction of boronic acids in the presence of BPin esters again without the need for protecting group manipulations, as either additional synthetic steps or in situ. Chemoselective transmetallation was then combined with chemoselective oxidative addition in order to establish the first complete chemoselective control over two of the three key mechanistic processes of the Suzuki-Miyaura reaction. This enables a one-pot sequential chemoselective Suzuki-Miyaura reaction without the requirement for any in situ modification of the reaction conditions (temperature change, sequential addition) or reactants (protecting group removal, boron species interconversion).

This dissertation explores how the heroines in Hayao Miyazaki animations subvert the antiquated, patriarchal models of the conquering hero that predominate Western literature and cinema. As unifying agents of change, such heroines use communal solutions to conflict by rejecting militarism, refuting stereotypical gender roles and reversing environmental destruction. Five Miyazaki animations are reviewed: My Neighbor Totoro, Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle, Princess Mononoke and Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind. The protagonists in these films undertake a voyage of balance inspired by Shinto animism and Japanese mythological traditions that reflect the heroine's journey schema and the individuation process that is the zenith of depth psychology. I argue that Miyazaki heroines are not solely aligned with Jungian theories of the anima as a contrasexual projection of a male, but rather as the spark of life that ignites the storyline.

The intention of this work is to examine the role of the anima rich heroine by drawing upon the depth psychological theories of James Hillman, Hayao Kawai, Marie- Louise von Franz, Ginette Paris and Christine Downing. At the same time, Miyazaki heroines are contrasted with the Disney princesses that reinforce traditional heterosexual norms and other pop culture protagonists that support androcentric order.

To attain a holistic vision of the world, the Miyazaki heroine must overcome the patriarchal constructs of her society that would otherwise disempower her. Such heroines exert their strength of character through compassionate understanding of the oppositional characters within the film story rather than viewing them as foes to be destroyed. Miyazaki heroines discover equilibrium of self by meeting their unconscious shadow aspects and positively integrating them instead of projecting them negatively onto others.

The anima rich, complex heroine in Miyazaki animations is a transformative protagonist that represents an emerging heroic and mythic model for a global community in transition. Drawing from soul more than ego, she contributes to an evolving collective psyche that bears the potential to heal and reshape this nascent post-patriarchal world.

Cette réaction utilise un pourvoyeur de bore original, le (N,N-diisopropylamino)borane, dérivé de la famille des aminoboranes monomères. Dans un premier temps, la synthèse d'amino-oxazoles, précurseurs de biarylcyclopeptides, a été réalisée via une réaction multi-composants entre un aldéhyde à terminaison acide arylboronique et divers isocyanoacétamides. Les biaryles sont obtenus par macrocyclisation décrochante sur support solide ionique. Ensuite, la synthèse de triazènes arylboroniques, des molécules difonctionnelles polyvalentes, a été réalisé. Ces outils synthétiques ont été engagés avec succès dans des réactions de Suzuki-Miyaura, et plus particulièrement dans des couplages originaux boro-sélectifs. L'utilisation de ces triazènes boroniques a également permis de réaliser la synthèse de molécules complexes de type DiSpiro[Fluorène-Indénofluorène-Fluorène] (DSFIFs), précurseurs de matériaux conducteurs et luminescents.

L’état de l’art montre que l’utilisation de Pd supporté sans ligand est une idée séduisante car elle permet d’éviter les problèmes liés à la présence des ligands potentiellement coûteux et toxiques, et également de récupérer plus facilement le catalyseur en fin de réaction. Ainsi, il est plus aisé de respecter la réglementation fixant la teneur maximale de Pd dans les principes actifs pharmaceutiques (IPA) à une concentration inférieure à 10 ppm. Cependant, la présence des espèces (moléculaires ou nanoparticules) de Pd en solution lors de l’utilisation de catalyseurs solides a créé un débat important dans la bibliographie sur la vraie nature de la catalyse, hétérogène à la surface du Pd supporté ou homogène par l’intermédiaire d'espèces en solution. Dans ce travail la réaction de Suzuki-Miyaura (SM) a été choisie comme réaction cible. En absence d’étude cinétique globale dans la bibliographie une étude cinétique a été effectuée avec un catalyseur moléculaire afin d’obtenir une loi mécanistique qui représente la partie homogène de la réaction. Un test innovant a été proposé afin de bien distinguer entre les contributions homogène et hétérogène et de déterminer par la suite la nature des espèces qui catalysent la réaction. Ce test a été appliqué dans la réaction de différents iodo, bromo, et chloro aryles en utilisant plusieurs catalyseurs supportés tout en variant la nature du support et l’état d’oxydation du Pd (Pd(0) et Pd(II)) dans le précurseur initial. Enfin, un modèle de réacteur a permis de démontrer que pour le même iodoaryle, peu importe la nature du solide, le Pd supporté semble relarguer les mêmes espèces actives en solution qui catalysent la réaction SM avec des activités initiales de l’ordre de 500 000 h-1. Le « split flow reactor » est un nouveau test très simple à utiliser qui, accompagné de techniques d’analyses en ligne, peut permettre de suivre l’évolution des espèces catalytiques en temps réel, et d’étudier d’autres systèmes chimiques
The use of ligand-free supported Pd is an attractive idea because it avoids problems related to the presence of the ligands (cost and toxicity). Also the catalyst is easily recovered at the end of the reaction by conventional methods such as filtration or decantation. Thus, it is easier to meet regulations in Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (<10 ppm). However, the presence of molecular or atomic Pd species in solution when using solid catalysts has created an important discussion on the true nature of catalysis. This last could be heterogeneous on the surface of the supported Pd or homogeneous via species in solution. In this work the Suzuki-Miyaura (SM) reaction was chosen as the target reaction. In the absence of an overall kinetic study in the literature, a kinetic study was carried out with a molecular catalyst. It provided a mechanistic law that represents the homogeneous part of the reaction. Furthermore, an innovative test (“split flow reactor”) has been proposed. It permits to distinguish between the homogeneous and heterogeneous contributions and to determine the nature of the species that catalyze the reaction. It was used in the reaction of different iodo, bromo, and chloro aryls. Several supported catalysts were used by varying the nature of the support and the oxidation state of Pd (Pd (0) and Pd (II)) in the initial precursor. Finally, a reactor model has shown that for the same iodoaryl, whatever the nature of the solid, the supported Pd seems to release the same active species in solution. These species catalyze the SM reaction with initial activities of the order of 500 000 h-1. The split flow reactor is a new, easy-to-use test. Accompanied with online analysis techniques, it can be used to track the evolution of catalytic species in real time and to study other chemical systems

This thesis investigates ideologies in contemporary picture books of Miyazawa Kenji's tales from the perspective of the acculturation of children in (post)modern Japan. Miyazawa Kenji (1896-1933) was writing in the early 20'" century, yet he is currently the most prolifically published literary figure in picture book form and these pictorialisations are widely promulgated to children and throughout cultural and educational institutions in Japan. Given Kenji's prominence as a devoutly Buddhist author with a unique position within Japanese literature, the thesis operates on the premise that the picture books are working, inter aha, to decode or encode the inherent Buddhist ideologies of self, identity and subjectivity and that the picture book re-versions are attempting to be 'authentic' to these. (Unlike many other works adapted for picture books, Kenji's original words are left intact.) Such selflother interactions are important to the construction of identity because childhood itself is an ideological construction premised on assumptions about what it means to be a child and what it means to 'be'; in other words, "such fictions are premised on culturally specific ideologies of identity" (McCallum, 1999: 263). Picture books, with their two forms of narrative discourse, pictures and words, are more ideologically powerful than words alone because the pictures also carry attitudes and therefore doubly inscribe both the explicit and implicit ideologies inherent in the words. -- By utilising Miyazawa Kenji's non-humanist Buddhist ideologies as a basis, this investigation compares how different artists are (re-)inscribing these ideals in the most frequently pidorialised versions of his children's tales. It is primarily an investigation into how the artistic responses re-situate or respond to ideologies of self and subjectivity inherent in a select corpus of focused pre-existing texts. Ultimately, the thesis shows how different pictures can shape story and how the implied reader is interpellated into certain subject positions and viewpoints from which to read the texts. This involves an intertextual approach which explores how art and culture interact to imply significance.

O objetivo deste trabalho é demonstrar e analisar o percurso narrativo no qual o diretor japonês Hayao Miyazaki apresenta a evolução de sua personagem principal, a menina Chihiro, no longa-metragem de animação A Viagem de Chihiro (2001). Este percurso apresenta-se em duas ambientações, os mundos primário e secundário, aqui chamados de mundo-aqui e outro-mundo. Serão historiados os filmes de Miyazaki produzidos no Studio Ghibli, com protagonistas femininas, e, especialmente, seus traços que remetem ao maravilhoso e ao fantástico, partindo-se previamente das definições destes termos dadas pelo crítico Tzvetan Todorov, seguidas por outras visões neste campo nos trabalhos das teóricas Irène Bessière e Maria Nikolajeva. Tendo essas definições em mente, será analisada a inserção do modo fantástico e das modalidades de interpretação nos filmes selecionados de maneira a presentar o trajeto do diretor rumo ao fantástico que resultou no longa-metragem A viagem de Chihiro. Para examinar o filme escolhido, utilizar-se-á um processo indutivo de análise do longa-metragem de animação sequência a sequência, tendo como ferramentas de análise principais os estudos sobre funções e esferas de ação desenvolvidas pelo folclorista russo Vladímir Propp na década de 1920, na obra Morfologia do conto maravilhoso. O acompanhamento do processo de maturação da heroína será observado através da evolução de algumas funções de Propp e da sua relação com outros personagens, pertencentes a outras esferas de ação proppianas. As sequências da animação, objetos desta observação, serão comparadas com o conceito de rito de passagem do antropólogo Arnold Van Geenep. Paralelamente, serão estudadas as fontes religiosas, mitológicas e folclóricas japonesas nas quais o diretor Hayao Miyazaki inspirou-se, por meio dos trabalhos das antropólogas Gergana Petkova, Birgit Staemmler e Carmen Blacker, da crítica literária Noriko Reider e do psicólogo Hayao Kaway. This study aims at presenting and analyzing the narrative course by which Japanese director Hayao Miyazaki portrays the personal evolution of his main character – the girl Chihiro – in feature-length animation movie Spirited Away (2001). This course is presented in two environments: the primary and the secondary worlds, namely the here-world and the another-world. Miyazaki’s movies produced in Studio Ghibli – featuring females as main characters and, specially, containing marvelous and fantastic situations – will be described taking into account previously given definitions brought by critic Tzvetan Todorov, as well as other points of view on the subject as presented by theorists Irène Bessière and Maria Nikolajeva. Having these definitions in mind, the insertion of fantastic narrative and of interpretative modalities will be analyzed within the selected movies, in order to track the director’s path en route to the fantastic that ultimately resulted in the feature movie Spirited Away. In order to scanning the movie, a sequence by sequence inductive analysis process of the feature animation will take place, using the analysis tools described in Morphology of the Folktale – written in the 1920’s by Russian folklorist Vladímir Propp – about functions and spheres of action. The monitoring of the heroine maturation process will be observed through the evolution of some functions – described by Propp – and her relationship with other characters – which belongs to other Propp’s spheres of action. The sequences of the animation, subjected to observation, will be compared as per the concept of rite of passage given by anthropologist Arnold Van Geenep. At the same time, Japanese religious, mythological, and folk resources that inspired director Hayao Miyazaki will be studied, through the works of anthropologists Gervana Petkova, Birgit Staemmler, and Carmen Blacker; literary critic Noriko Reider; and psychologist Hayao Kaway. By doing so, it is expected to provide an overview of the multiple understandings that can be conveyed by the narrative of Spirited Away, without the need to be attached to a reductionist distinction of reality or fantasy – by taking advantage of mimetic and symbolic narrative modalities as transition points between the various interpretations of the movie, and considering the parallel aspects of marvelous and fantastic narratives.

The active site of the NiFe-hydrogenase from Desulfovibrio vulgaris Miyazaki F was investigated by means of X-ray Absorption Spectroscopy (XAS). Using the Extended X-ray Absorption Fine Structure (EXAFS) the active site was structurally characterized to determine differences between four different catalytic states of the enzyme. The nature of an additional ligand which is present in the oxidized forms of the enzyme was revealed and the distance between both metal atoms of the heterobinuclear site was calculated. Suitable data analyzation techniques were developed using simulated spectra. For the verification of these techniques, spectra from model compounds structurally characterized by other methods were used. To ensure sufficient quality of the spectra a newly developed quality control system using statistical criteria was employed.

The biaryl motif is found in many natural and synthetic products that display a wide range of biological activities. This explains why biphenyls are widely encountered in medicinal chemistry as a privileged scaffold. The palladium-catalysed Suzuki-Miyaura (SM) coupling is one of the most important and efficient strategies for the synthesis of symmetrical and unsymmetrical biaryl compounds; the arylboronic acid or ester is a key partner in this coupling reaction. This work presents the synthesis of a library of new molecules containing the biphenyl scaffold; o-, m- and p-(bromomethyl)phenylboronic acid pinacol esters, 2a-c, were selected as coupling partners. Nucleophilic substitution of the bromide was carried out with amine, thiol, alcohol or phenol nucleophiles. Supported reagents and microwave assisted organic synthesis conditions were employed to enhance this chemistry and made it amenable to parallel synthesis. The resulting arylboronates were used in SM coupling reactions in order to obtain a range of biphenyls. The use of Boc-piperazine as a nucleophile in the SN2 reaction, with 2a-c, and 1-bromo-, 2-, 3- or 4-nitrobenzene or 2-bromo-5-nitropyridine as aryl halides in the SM coupling reaction, allowed two other points of functionalisation to be added to the biaryl motif. The conditions for the SM coupling of mercaptomethylphenylboronic esters and orthosubstituted methylphenylboronic esters were optimised in order to broaden the scope of the biaryl library. Phosphines were found to be good nucleophiles in the SN2 reaction with 2a-c. A Wittig reaction was performed with the resulting phosphonium arylboronates in order to synthesise arylboronic esters containing an alkene function prior the reduction of the resulting double bond of the stilbene derivatives and realising a SM coupling to synthesise arylethylbiphenyls. The stilbene derivatives were also synthesised by using the olefin cross-metathesis reaction of 4-vinylphenylboronic acid pinacol ester. A solid state crystallographic study was undertaken on a small library of methylbiphenylamides to compare the crystal structures of isomers or biphenyls with different functional groups.

Pyrazoles constitute one of the most important classes of heterocyclic compounds due to their interesting chemical and biochemical features. Researchers have studied many pyrazole containing structures for almost over a century in order to investigate the various biological activities possessed by these molecules. A new and important trend in these studies is to produce ferrocenyl substituted pyrazoles since ferrocene attracts considerable interest in the research field of organometallic and bioorganometallic chemistry because of its valuable chemical characteristics like high stability, low toxicity and enhanced redox properties. Moreover, the results of the studies focusing on ferrocenyl compounds have been quite promising. Therefore, the scope of this project involves the combination of the essential structural features of pyrazoles with a ferrocene moiety, which could provide new derivatives with enhanced biological activities. In the course of the project the synthesis of new pyrazole derivatives was performed through Sonogashira and Suzuki-Miyaura cross-coupling reactions of 5-ferrocenyl-4-iodo-1-phenyl-1H-pyrazole with terminal alkynes and boronic acids respectively in the presence of a catalytic amount of PdCl2(PPh3)2. Although Sonogashira and Suzuki-Miyaura coupling reactions are well known in literature, they were not studied in much detail with multi-substituted pyrazoles. This also revealed the requirement of the reinvestigation of the reactions and improvement of the yields of pyrazoles by optimizing the reaction conditions.

Para esta tesis se ha decidido utilizar metodología cualitativa mixta: en primer lugar interpretar, bajo la luz de conceptos como el sintoísmo y mitología, el significado del árbol en tres películas de Miyazaki, y luego utilizar instrumentos cuantitativos para analizar el lenguaje audiovisual de sus películas. Se ha podido concluir que para Miyazaki el árbol es la razón de la existencia humana y que simboliza la esencia de la vida en todo sentido.

"Les réactions de couplage carbone-carbone sont des réactions essentielles en chimie organique. Parmi les différentes approches métallo-catalysées, la réaction de Suzuki-Miyaura est celle qui a connu un développement industriel et académique parmi les plus importants, car elle présente de nombreux avantages par rapport aux autres réactions de couplage existantes. Cependant, les acides boroniques utilisés classiquement dans cette réaction présentent des problèmes de stabilité. C'est pourquoi d'autres partenaires de couplage ont été élaborés et utilisés avec succès à la place de ces acides. Parmi les différents partenaires mis au point, les dioxazaborocanes, obtenus par condensation de la diéthanolamine sur un acide boronique, se sont avérés être d'excellents alternatifs aux acides boroniques, notamment grâce à leur purification très simple à mettre en œuvre, et à leur exceptionnelle stabilité. Dans le cadre d'une collaboration avec un partenaire industriel, nous nous sommes intéressés à la synthèse " one-pot " et à la structure de ces composés, aussi bien en série alkyle qu'en série aryle. Nous avons alors mis au point des conditions de couplage de ces différents composés, aussi bien sur des dérivés halogénés que sur des sels de diazonium, et permettant d'obtenir d'excellents rendements de réaction. En plus du développement de nouveaux partenaires borés, nous nous sommes également intéressés à la synthèse de nouveaux ligands et des complexes de palladium correspondants pour catalyser la réaction de Suzuki-Miyaura. Afin d'obtenir des complexes organométalliques extrêmement robustes, nous avons choisi de développer des ligands bidentates comportant un motif carbène N-hétérocyclique et un motif triazole relié entre eux par un bras méthylène, notamment grâce à la réaction de Huisgen. Les complexes mixtes carbène-phosphine correspondants ont alors pu être obtenus avec de bons rendements. Les tests catalytiques, effectués avec deux complexes de palladium sur la réaction de Suzuki-Miyaura, ont été très concluants, puisque ces catalyseurs permettent d'obtenir des rendements de couplage quantitatifs avec des temps de réaction très courts et des charges catalytiques très faibles. "
Carbon-carbon bond formation is a fundamental reaction in organic chemistry. Among the different transition-metal catalysed cross-coupling reactions, the Suzuki-Miyaura reaction is known as one of the most efficient and popular method in academic laboratories and at an industrial level. However, the classically used boronic acids are not very stable. That's why new boronated coupling partners have been developed and successfully used in this type of reaction. Among these new compounds, dioxazaborocanes, obtained by condensation of diethanolamine on boronic acids, are a very good choice, because of their simple purification and their exceptional stability. We developed with our industrial partner a new one-pot synthesis of these derivatives, and then, studied their structure in solution and in a solid state. We also tested different catalytic conditions to obtain the cross-coupling products with excellent yields from halogenated compounds or diazonium salts. We were also interested in developing new ligands and the corresponding palladium complexes to catalyse the Suzuki-Miyaura reaction. In order to get very strong ligand-metal complexes, we chose to develop bidentate ligands, containing an N-heterocyclic carbene and a triazole ring linked by a methylene, by using the Huisgen reaction. The corresponding palladium complexes were then synthesized with good yields. These complexes are excellent catalysts, since we could obtain cross-coupling products in quantitative yields with very low catalyst loading and in very short reaction times

Les boranes vinyliques,les acides boroniques vinyliques et les boronates vinyliques sont des organoboranes où la différence d'électronégativité entre le carbone et le bore est très faible[C (2. 55)-B (2. 04)] et la liaison entre ces deux atomes est donc peu polaire. Les propriétés caractéristiques du bore permettent de réaliser une grande variété de réactions dans différentes conditions. Beaucoup de groupes de recherche ont exploré les applications synthétiques des organoboranes en synthèse organique. Par exemple les boranes vinyliques peuvent être transformés en les alcènes correspondants par protonolyse,ils peuvent être facilement oxydés avec H2O2 en présence de base(addition d'un groupe hydroxyle sur la double liaison) pour donner des produits cis-anti Markovnikov. Ils peuvent aussi subir des réactions d'addition pour donner des alcools allyliques ou des cycloadditions [4+2] pour former deux nouvelles liaisons carbone- carbone via des réactions de Diels-Alder. Les acides vinylboroniques peuvent être transformés en halogénures vinyliques via une halogénolyse,réagir via une réaction de cyclisation radicalaire utilisant la méthode catalytique de Corey en présence d'un initiateur de réaction radicalaire pour obtenir des diols 1,3- ou 1,4. Ils peuvent participer à des réactions de couplage au palladium de type Suzuki pour former de nouvelles liaisons carbone-carbone. Ils peuvent réagir avec des anhydrides pour donner différentes cétones insaturatées via des catalyses au palladium ou au rhodium . Les acides vinylboroniques ont aussi été utilisés pour la formation de nouvelles liaisons carbone-azote , carbone-oxygène , carbone-fluor via des réactions catalysées au palladium ou au cuivre. Les boronates vinyliques ont aussi été utilisés comme nucléophiles en réaction d'allylation avec catalyse au cuivre ou au palladium. Les transformations précédentes des organoboranes fournissent des précurseurs importants pour la synthèse totale de molécules bioactives complexes qui ont été utilisées dans les domaines de la médecine, de l'agrochimie, des composés pharmaceutiques et de la chimie fine. Les organoboranes peuvent être synthétisés facilement et ceci les rend particulièrement précieux comme intermédiaires clés en synthèse organique

The characteristic features of borane allow performing wide range of reactions under different conditions. Several research groups explored the synthetic applications of organoboranes in organic synthesis. For example vinylboranes can be transformed to their corresponding alkenes via protonolysis,can be easily oxidized by hydrogen peroxide in presence of base(addition of hydroxy group at double bond)to result cis-,anti Markovnikov products also participate in addition reactions to give allylic alcohols,they undergo[4+2]cyclo adition reactions to form two new carbon- carbon bonds via Diels- Alder reaction. Vinylboronates on treatment with arylnitrile oxides undergo 1,3-dipolar cyclo addition reaction to give isoxazole derivatives, vinylboronates were also used as nucleophiles in allylation with copper and palladium catalysisThe above transformations of organoboranes provide important precursors for building complex bioactive molecules which were developed as medicine, agrochemicals, pharmaceuticals and fine chemicals. Organoboranes can be easily synthesized and this easy access for preparation made them useful key intermediates for organic synthesis. Vinylboranes can be synthesized via hydroboration of alkynes with alkylboranes,vinylboronic acids can be synthesized via hydroboration of alkynes with alkoxyboranes followed by hydrolysis where as vinylboronates were synthesized from organometallic reagents by transmetallation with trimethyl orthoborate,also prepared from hydroboration of alkynes with alkoxyboranes. Ziel dieser Arbeit war die Entwicklung von Methoden zur Synthese von auf Phenol basierenden Naturstoffen. Insbesondere wurde bei der Methodenentwicklung die Nachhaltigkeit in den Vordergrund gerückt. Dies bedeutet, dass durch die Zusammenfassung mehrerer Syntheseschritte zu einem (Tandem-Reaktion) beispielsweise unnötige Reaktionsschritte vermieden werden sollten. Ferner sollten im Sinne der Nachhaltigkeit möglichst ungiftige Reagenzien und Lösungmittel verwendet werden, ebenso wie mehrfach wiederverwertbare Katalysatoren zum Einsatz kommen. Im Rahmen dieser Arbeit wurden Methoden zum Aufbau von Biphenolen mittels Pd/C-katalysierten Suzuki-Miyaura-Kupplungen entwickelt. Diese Methoden sind insofern äuÿerst ezient, da der ansonsten gebräuchliche Syntheseweg über drei Reaktionsschritte somit auf lediglich eine Reaktionsstufe reduziert wurde. Weiterhin wurden die Reaktionsbedingungen so gestaltet, dass einfaches Wasser als vollkommen ungiftiges Lösungsmittel verwendet werden konnte. Des Weiteren wurde für diese Reaktionen ein Katalysator gewählt, der einfach durch Filtration vom Reaktionsgemisch abgetrennt und für weitere Reaktionen mehrfach wiederverwendet werden konnte. Darüber hinaus konnte durch die Synthese von mehr als 100 Verbindungen die breite Anwendbarkeit der Methoden aufgezeigt werden. Mit den entwickelten Methoden konnten 14 Naturstoffe - z. T. erstmals - synthetisiert werden. Derartige Stoffe werden u. a. von den ökonomisch bedeutenden Kernobstgewächsen (Äpfeln, Birnen) als Abwehrmittel gegenüber Schädlingen erzeugt. Folglich konnte mit Hilfe dieser Methoden ein Syntheseweg für potentielle Pflanzenschutzmittel entwickelt werden. Im zweiten Teil dieser Arbeit wurde ein Zugang zu den sich ebenfalls vom Phenol ableitenden Chromanonen, Chromonen und Cumarinen untersucht. Bei diesen Untersuchungen konnte durch die Entwicklung zweier neuer Tandem-Reaktionen ein nachhaltiger und stufenökonomischer Syntheseweg zur Darstellung substituierter Benzo(dihydro)pyrone aufgezeigt werden. Durch die erstmalige Kombination der Claisen-Umlagerung mit einer Oxa-Michael-Addition bzw. konjugierten-Addition wurden zwei vollkommen atomökonomische Reaktionen miteinander verknüpft und somit eine überaus effiente Synthese von allyl- bzw. prenylsubstituierten Chromanonen und Chromonen ermöglicht. Ferner konnten durch die Anwendung einer Claisen-Umlagerung-Wittig-Laktonisierungs-Reaktion allyl- bzw. prenylsubstituierte Cumarine erhalten werden. Herausragendes Merkmal dieser Methoden war, dass in nur einem Schritt der jeweilige Naturstoffgrundkörper aufgebaut und eine lipophile Seitenkette generiert werden konnte. Die Entwicklung dieser Methoden ist von hohem pharmazeutischem Stellenwert, da auf diesen Wegen Verbindungen synthetisiert werden können, die zum einem über das notwendige pharmakologische Grundgerüst verfügen und zum anderen über eine Seitenkette, welche die Aufnahmefähigkeit und damit die Wirksamkeit im Organismus beträchtlich erhöht. Insgesamt konnten mittels der entwickelten Methoden 15 Chromanon-, Chromon- und Cumarin-Naturstoffe z. T. erstmals synthetisiert werden.
The aim of this work was the development of methods for the synthesis of natural products based on phenol. In particular, in developing methods, sustainability has been brought to the fore. This means that, for example, unnecessary reaction steps should be avoided by the combination of several synthetic steps to a (tandem reaction). Furthermore, non-toxic as possible in terms of sustainability reagents and solvents should be used, as well as multiple reusable catalysts are used. In this work, methods have been developed for the synthesis of bisphenols using Pd / C-catalyzed Suzuki-Miyaura coupling reactions. These methods are so far äuÿerst e? Cient, since the otherwise common synthetic route was thus reduced to merely a reaction stage, three reaction steps. Furthermore, the reaction conditions were designed to plain water could be used as a completely non-toxic solvent. It was also elected a catalyst for these reactions, which could be easily separated by filtration from the reaction mixture and reused several times for further reactions. In addition, it could be demonstrated through the synthesis of more than 100 compounds, the broad applicability of the methods. ., For the first time T. - - Using the methods developed 14 natural compounds could be synthesized. Such substances are among others generated by the economically important pome fruit crops (apples, pears) as a defense against pests. Consequently, it could be developed using these methods, a synthetic route for potential plant protection products. In the second part of this work, access to the likewise derived from phenol chromanones, chromones and coumarins was investigated. In these studies, a sustainable and economical route in stages to represent substituted benzo (dihydro) pyrones could be demonstrated by the development of two new tandem reactions. The initial combination of the Claisen rearrangement with an oxa-Michael addition or conjugated addition of two perfectly atom-economical reactions were interlinked and thus allows a very effiente synthesis of allyl or prenylsubstituierten chromanones and chromones. Furthermore or prenylsubstituierte coumarins could be obtained by the application of a Claisen rearrangement Wittig lactonization reaction allyl. The outstanding feature of these methods was that built up in only one step of the respective natural product base and a lipophilic side chain could be generated. The development of these methods is of great pharmaceutical importance, since these paths compounds can be synthesized on a the necessary pharmacological Backbone and on the other hand have a side chain, which increases the absorption and thus the effectiveness in the body considerably. Overall, z. T. were synthesized using the methods developed Chromanon- 15, chromone and coumarin-natural products for the first time.

The present paper focuses on the contribution to fashion design, through the use of existing technologies in the tissues, which associated with an appropriate modeling, whose objective is in the attribution of comfort to the user, respect for the health of his body and its skin freedom of movement. The work, especially, intend to present a way to respect for the different existing body forms, without the body having to change its forms to suit a garment. The propose is reach this through the use of technological fabrics. The work propose a dialogue between textile technology and ergonomic, mainly related to anthropometric measures, to develop a dress that respects the architecture of the user's body. This study analyzed how ergonomics defends the user's pleasure in using the product and what characteristics should be contained in a garment, in order to the user perceives the space occupied by the clothing. To support this discussion and these forms of designing a garment, the works "Torchon" and "Pli Plá" by Nanni Strada (2008) and "Pleats Please" by Issey Miyake (2012) were presented, because both fashion designers start from these concerns with the individual, in developing their dress designs. In addition, is correct to say that their works fit the premises of a universal ergonomic design, whose purpose is precisely to tailor clothing to different bodies, heights and body shapes. In this sense, this work aims to discuss the existing technologies in the textile market, whose purpose is to favor clothing in contact with the body, respecting their forms, mobility, health, comfort and tactile perception of clothing to the body. It also discusses proposals that deal with dressing whose concern is the suitability of clothing in different body shapes, whose solution tool is the technological innovations in the textile field.
O presente trabalho tem como foco discutir a contribuição para o design de moda através do uso de tecnologias existentes nos tecidos, que associadas a uma modelagem adequada, tem como objetivo a atribuição do conforto ao usuário, respeito à saúde do seu corpo e da sua pele, liberdade de movimentos e, principalmente, respeito às diferentes formas corporais existentes, sem que o corpo tenha que alterar suas formas para se adequar a uma vestimenta , isto se dá através do uso de tecidos tecnológicos. O trabalho propôs um diálogo entre a tecnologia têxtil e a ergonomia, principalmente relacionada às medidas antropométricas, para se desenvolver uma vestimenta que respeite a arquitetura do corpo do usuário. Este trabalho analisou como a ergonomia defende o prazer do usuário no uso do produto e quais características devem conter em uma vestimenta, para que leve o usuário a perceber o espaço ocupado pela roupa. Para fundamentar esta discussão e estas formas de se projetar uma vestimenta, foram apresentados os trabalhos Torchon e Pli Plá de Nanni Strada (2008) e o Pleats Please de Issey Miyake (2012), uma vez que ambos os designers de moda partem dessas preocupações com o indivíduo, ao desenvolverem seus projetos de vestimentas. Além disso, pode-se dizer que seus trabalhos se encaixam nas premissas de um projeto universal ergonômico, cujo intuito seja justamente adequar a roupa a diferentes corpos, alturas e formas corporais. Nesse sentido, este trabalho objetiva discutir as tecnologias existentes no mercado têxtil, cujo intuito seja favorecer a roupa em contato com o corpo, respeitando suas formas, mobilidade, saúde, conforto e percepção tátil da vestimenta ao corpo. Discute-se também, propostas que tratam do vestir cuja preocupação seja a adequação da vestimenta em diferentes formas corporais, cuja ferramenta de solução sejam as inovações tecnológicas no campo têxtil.

Ce travail decrit une nouvelle voie d'acces a la monocilline et au radicicol (monordene), macrolides resorcyliques possedant de nombreuses proprietes pharmacologiques (activites fongistatiques, inhibition specifique de la tyrosine kinase p60src, inhibition specifique de l'expression de la cyclooxygenase 2). Des couplages de miyaura-suzuki entre une isocoumarine halogenee en position allylique et des dialkylvinylboranes ou vinylboronates, catalyses par des complexes du palladium, permettent d'acceder avec de bons rendements aux precurseurs du macrolide. Les vinylboranes et boronates sont obtenus par hydroboration des alcynes correspondants par le disiamylborane ou le dicyclohexylborane (suivie d'une oxydation dans le cas des vinylboronates) et ceci sans toucher a l'epoxyde. Les organoboranes etant relativement sensibles aux traces d'oxygene, les couplages sont realises en un pot. L'influence de nombreux parametres (nature de la base, du solvant, du catalyseur, du boronate) a ete etudiee et commentee afin de mieux preciser certains points du mecanisme de la reaction de couplage (role de la base, nature de l'entite catalytique, nature de l'etape limitante). Des conditions relativement douces (phosphate de potassium, carbonate de sodium), associees a une catalyse par le palladium zero, permettent de preserver les structures pendant le couplage, celles-ci etant tres sensibles aux nucleophiles et aux bases. L'amelioration de certaines etapes (clivage de l'isocoumarine, generation du systeme dienone epoxyde conjugue), la flexibilite et la convergence de cette synthese donnent un acces stereospecifique a des macrolides homochiraux apparentes a la monocilline et au radicicol et non isoles de sources naturelles

Resumo: Utilizando a implementação do método da coordenada geradora discretizada nos orbitais atômicos, conjuntos de bases adaptados ao pseudopotencial de caroço SBKJC (conjuntos GBSMCS) foram desenvolvidos, validados e utilizados no estudo de possíveis efeitos de solvatação do tetraidrofurano sobre um mecanismo modelo de Suzuki-Miyaura. As metodologias de validação adotadas para os conjuntos GBSMCS foram os cálculos teóricos da afinidade por próton de sistemas atômicos e moleculares, iônicos e neutros, das entalpias de liquefação de alguns solventes orgânicos rotineiros e das entalpias de hidratação de 29 compostos orgânicos diversos. Nas etapas de validação, observou-se de uma maneira geral, uma boa relação entre custo e benefício na utilização dos conjuntos de bases GBSMCS, obteveram-se desvios médios por volta de 0 até 20 kJ.mol, nas propriedades estudadas. Com as metodologias propostas neste trabalho e com a utilização dos conjuntos GBSMCS, determinou-se o perfil potencial da reação modelo de Suzuki-Miyaura tanto em fase gasosa como em fase solvatada de tetraidrofurano. Não se observou efeitos significativos nas estruturas dos estados estacionários caracterizados e nem nas DrG para as etapas de adição-oxidativa, transmetalação, eliminação-redutiva e isomerização. Contudo, observou-se que há efeitos consideráveis de solvatação para as espécies individuais. As etapas de adição-oxidativa e de eliminação-redutiva apresentaram-se como sendo etapas exergônicas e a etapa de transmetalação como sendo uma etapa endergônica tanto em fase gasosa como em tetraidrofurano. Abordou-se um mecanismo associativo em todas as etapas principais reacionais, contudo inferiu-se que a etapa de transmetalação tenha possíveis rotas mecanísticas dissociativas iônicas que serão estudadas em trabalhos futuros
Abstract: Using the implementation of the discretized generator coordinate method in atomic orbitals, atomic basis sets adapted to the pseudopotential core SBKJC were developed ( GBSMCS ), validated and used to study possible effects of tetrahydrofuran¿s solvation over a model Suzuki-Miyaura¿s mechanism. The methodologies adopted for the validation of GBSMCS basis sets were the theoretical calculations of proton affinities of atomic and molecular, ionic and neutral, systems, the liquefaction enthalpies of some common organic solvents and the hydration enthalpies of 29 organic compounds. In the validation steps a good relationship was abserved between cost and benefit in the use of GBSMCS basis set, average deviations around 0 to 20 kJ.mol for the properties studied. Applying the methodologies proposed in this research and using the GBSMCS atomic basis sets, the potential profile of the Suzuki- Miyaura¿s model mechanism was determinated in the gas and tetrahydrofuran phases. No significant tetrahydronfuran¿s solvation effects were observed for molecular stationarys state structures, neither for DrG for oxidative- addition, transmetallation, reductive-elimination and isomerization reaction steps. However, some strong solvation effects were observed for individual species. The oxidative-addition and reductive-elimination reaction steps were characterized as exergonic steps, but transmetallation reaction step was presented as an endergonic step, both in the gas and tetrahydrofuran phases. This work approaches an associative mechanism for all main reaction steps; however, we inferred that the transmetallation reaction step could have some ionic pathways and should be studied in future works

Abstract:
As cumarinas são compostos com potente atividade biológica. Foi explorada sua funcionalização, iniciando pela sua bromação, gerando o composto 3-bromocumarina, utilizado como material de partida para as reações de acoplamento do tipo Suzuki-Miyaura, que são uma das reações mais empregadas para a formação de ligação carbono-carbono, a qual utiliza paládio como catalisador e ácidos e ésteres borônicos como nucleófilo. Esses ácidos e ésteres borônicos possuem desvantagens, por isso foram substituídos pelos sais de organotrifluoroboratos de potássio, que são mais nucleofílicos, estáveis à umidade e à luz e não são higroscópicos. Assim, foi associada a catacterística reativa da cumarina para gerar derivados cumarínicos. Foram utilizados sais de ariltrifluoroboratos de potássio na primeira etapa e alquiniltrifluoroboratos de potássio na segunda etapa. Após o término destas duas etapas, foi utilizado o acoplamento de Sonogashira para a geração de um segundo material de partida, o 3-etiniltrimetilsililcumarínico, para poder sintetizar os 1,2,3-triazolilcumarínicos através da 1,3-dipolar cicloadição de Huisgen. Os 1,2,3-triazóis também possuem vasta atividade biológica, sendo de grande interesse sua preparação.
The coumarins are compounds with great biologic activity, for this reason in this dissertation we explored the functionalization beginning with bromination, generating the compound 3-bromocoumarin, used as starting material for the Suzuki-Miyaura cross-coupling reactions.The Suzuki-Miyaura cross-coupling reactions is one of the most employed protocol for carbon-carbon bond formation that use palladium as catalyst, boronic acid and ester as nucleophiles. But this boronic acid and ester have drawback and were substituted for potassium organotrifluoroborate salts that are more nucleophilic, moisture and light stable and are not hygroscopic. In this context, we associated the coumarin reactivity characteristic with the methodology mentioned above for create coumarin derivatives. We used potassium aryltrifluoroborate salts in the first step and potassium alkynyltrifluoroborate salts for the second step. After finished both steps mentioned before, we used the Sonogashira coupling to create the second starting material, the 3-((trimethylsilyl)ethynyl)-2H-chromen-2-one, so we could synthesize the 1,2,3-triazolyl coumarins through Huisgen 1,3-dipolar cycloaddtion. The 1,2,3-triazole also have a huge biologic activity, that represent a large interest for your preparation.

Esta tese descreve, em dois diferentes capítulos, a síntese assimétrica da Malevamida D e a aplicação de compostos organotelúrio em reações de Suzuki-Miyaura. O primeiro capítulo refere-se ao estudo da síntese assimétrica da Malevamida D, um depsipeptídeo natural pertencente à família das dolastatinas, compostos estes com grande atividade citotóxica. As unidades DAP e MMMAH foram alcançadas em ótimos redimentos e estereosseletividades, utilizando-se reações de adição de crotil ou aliltrifluoroborato de potássio à aldeídos derivados da L-prolina e L-isoleucina, respectivamente. A elongação da cadeia da malevamida D se fez a partir de reações de esterificação e amidação; infelizmente não foi possível completar a síntese devido a problemas na última reação de acoplamento peptídico. O segundo capítulo descreve as reações entre teluretos aromáticos ou vinílicos e sais de organotrifluoroborato de potássio, mediadas por um catalisador de paládio. A partir destas reações de acoplamento cruzado tipo Suzuki-Miyaura foi possível obter-se 1,3-eninos, sistemas biarílicos, (E)- ou (Z)-estilbenos e 1,3-dienos. Todas as reações mostraram serem tolerantes a uma grande variedade de grupos funcionais e altamente estereoconservativas, nos casos envolvendo substratos vinílicos.
This thesis describes, in two different chapters, the asymmetric synthesis of malevamide D and the application of organotellurium compounds in Suzuki-Miyaura reaction. The first chapter refers to the asymmetric synthesis of malevamide D, a natural depsipeptide which belongs to the dolastatins family, and these compounds have a great interest due to theirs citotoxic activities. The DAP and MMMAH units were reached in excellent yields and stereoselectivities from 1,2-addition reaction of potassium crotyl or allyltrifluoroborate to aldehydes derivate from L-proline and L-isoleucine, respectively. The malevamide D elongation was made from reaction of esterification and amidation, unfortunately it was not possible finish the synthesis due to some problems in the last step of the total synthesis. The second chapter describes the reaction between aryl or vinyl tellurides and potassium organotrifluoroborate salts, mediated by a palladium catalyst. From this cross-coupling reaction type Suzuki-Miyaura was possible obtain 1,3-dienes, biarylic systems, (E)- or (Z)-stylbenes and 1,3-dienes. Al reactions showed to be tolerant to a wide range of functional groups and highly stereoconservative, in the cases involving vinylic substrates.

Durante muito tempo as palavras utilizadas para referir-se a oriente e ocidente foram exótico, civilizado, arcaico ou desenvolvido. Isso porque as imagens atribuídas a ambos eram de atrasado x avançado como o pseudo antagonismo entre mito e logos. No entanto, a falência do discurso cartesiano de verdade, como narrativa organizadora do cenário contemporâneo, abre espaço para uma nova abordagem do mito como parte atuante na leitura do mundo. Nesta tese nos propomos a utilizar a recuperação do mito através da metáfora ainda presente no discurso filosófico feita por Hans Blumenberg, e fazer um paralelo com a recuperação da metáfora feita por Paul Ricoeur para um approach entre oriente e ocidente pelo viés da literatura midiatizada que identificamos na obra do renomado diretor japonês de animação Hayao Miyazaki.
For a long time the words used to refer to East and West were exotic, civilized, archaic or developed. That s because the images assigned to both were backward vs. advanced as well as the pseudo antagonism between myth and logos. However, the failure of the Cartesian discourse of truth as a structuring ordering narrative of the contemporary world opens a door to a new approach to myth as an active part in the reading of the world. This thesis proposes to use the restoration of the myth through metaphor as in Hans Blumberg s philosophical work and to form a parallel with Paul Ricouer s restoration of the metaphor, employing this method as an approach between East and West to delve into the work based on the literary world of renowned Japanese animation director Hayao Miyazaki.
