Abstract:
Tulisan ini merupakan studi awal yang membuktikan pengaruh Mesoscale Convective System (MCS) terhadap curah hujan (CH) ekstrem di pesisir barat Sumatra dengan menggunakan citra rapidscan 10 menit Himawari-8 kanal IR1. Untuk mendapatkan data yang berkualitas, penulis melakukan koreksi data CH penakar Hellman terhadap data standar CH di Moelaboh (MLH), Sibolga (SBG), Teluk Bayur (TBR) dan Bengkulu (BKL) serta koreksi paralaks data citra Himawari-8. Dalam mengidentifikasi MCS, penulis menggunakan kriteria brightness temperature (BT) ≤ 221 derajat kelvin (K), luasan BT ≥ 10.000 km2 dan durasi ≥ 3 jam. Hasil penelitian mengindikasikan bahwa CH ekstrem bersamaan dengan keberadaaan MCS yang membuktikan bahwa CH ekstrem diakibatkan oleh MCS di MLB, SBG, TBR dan BKL. MCS tersebut sangat dipengaruhi oleh kemunculan Westerly Wind Burst (WWB) yang terhalangi oleh Bukit Barisan untuk kasus CH ekstrem di SBG dan TBR atau berinteraksi dengan angin pasat tenggara dari Samudra Hindia sebelah barat daya Sumatra untuk kasus CH ekstrem di BKL. Untuk kaus CH ekstrem di MLB, MCS terbentuk akibat interaksi angin pasat di Samudra Hindia sebelah barat Sumatra dan aliran siklonik sebelah barat MLB. This paper was a preliminary study that proved the impact of the mesoscale convective system (MCS) on extreme rainfall on the west coast of Sumatra using rapid scan imagery of 10 minutes Himawari-8 channel IR1. To get qualified data, we conducted the correction of rainfall data of Hellman gauge to the rainfall standard data in Moelaboh (MLH), Sibolga (SBG), Teluk Bayur (TBR), and Bengkulu (BKL) and the parallax correction to Himawari-8 imagery data. To identify MCS, we used brightness temperature (BT) ≤ 221 K, BT area ≥ 10.000 km2 and duration ≥ 3 hours as the criteria. The results indicated that extreme rainfall occured simultaneously with MCS proved that the extreme rainfall caused by MCS in MLB, SBG, TBR, and BKL. The MCS was greatly influenced by the appearance of westerly wind burst (WWB) which was blocked by Bukit Barisan for extreme rainfall cases in SBG and TBR or interacted with the southeast trade winds of the Indian Ocean in the southwest of Sumatra for extreme rainfall case in BKL. For extreme rainfall case in MLB, MCS was formed due to the interaction of trade winds of the Indian Ocean in the west of Sumatra and cyclonic flow in the west of MLB.

Abstract:
The main objective of this study was to improve the performance of analytical methods for the determination of sugars in fermented alcoholic beverages based on mid-infrared-partial least squares (MIR-PLS), high-performance liquid chromatography with the ultraviolet detector (HPLC-UV), high-performance liquid chromatography with the refractive index detector (HPLC-RI), and sulfuric acid methods. The MIR-PLS method was found to give good prediction of individual sugars: glucose, fructose, sucrose, and maltose in the alcoholic beverages with less than 4% error. The HPLC-UV method can be used for the determination of glucose in alcoholic beverages after derivatization withp-aminobenzoic acid ethyl ester. The HPLC-RI method was found to be applicable for the determination of individual sugars: glucose, fructose, sucrose, and maltose in the alcoholic beverages. The limit of detection (%, w/w) and recovery (%) of the individual sugars by the HPLC-RI method were fructose 0.001, 89.4–106; glucose 0.002, 92.4–109; and sucrose 0.002, 94.2–95.1. The sulfuric acid method was found to be useful for the determination of total sugar in the alcoholic beverages. The limit of detection (%, w/w) and recovery (%) of the total sugar by the sulfuric acid method were found to be 0.009, 98.2–109. The HPLC-RI method was applied to determine the level of individual sugars, while the sulfuric acid method was used to determine total sugar in Ethiopian traditional fermented alcoholic beverages:Tella,Netch Tella,Filter Tella,Borde,Tej,Korefe,Keribo, andBirz. The sugar contents in the real samples were found in the ranges (%): glucose 0.07–5.60, fructose 0.09–8.50, sucrose and maltose 0.08–3.00, and total sugar 12.0–64.5. The levels of sugars in Ethiopian traditional fermented alcoholic beverages were found to be comparable with literature data.

Abstract:
U središtu ovog rada je zapitanost o stvarnim uzrocima povremenog narušavanja mira i postojanja zone nestabilnosti na Balkanu. Da li je moguće, i kako, prevazići faktore rizika, kolonijalne i neokolonijalne zavisnosti i uspostaviti tolerantnu koegzistenciju među narodima koji ga naseljavaju i koji su tu formirali svoje države. U javnom govoru, prošlom i sadašnjem, najčešće se insistiralo samo na jednoj dimenziji stvarnosti ili u najboljem slučaju na suženoj slici, dakle, izbegavala se kompleksnost istorijski uslovljenih stanja i različitih iskustava. Ovo se odnosi i na politički govor o evropskim integracijama Srbije. Pobude savremenika da u svom vremenu shvate i znaju sve okolnosti, unutrašnje i spoljne, aktuelne i one dugog trajanja, mogu se razumeti samo kroz razumevanje vremena u kome su nastajale. Ceniti njihovu politiku koja je nastajala u magli procena i oskudnih znanja nekim budućim merilima i saznanjima ne vodi dobrim istorijskim zaključcima o nekom vremenu. U ovom radu, kroz istorijske primere vide se trajni pokušaji želje naroda koji ga nastanjuju da se stvore uslovi za trajniji mir i ekonomski razvoj i permanentno nastojanje velikih sila da ga kontrolišu u geopolitičkom i ekonomskom smislu. Granični prostor vekovima, Balkan je trusno područje, ali je daleko od toga da je to jedino takvo područje u svetu. Nasilje i povremeno masovni zločini, masovne seobe ili proterivanje, nisu bili unikum ovog prostora. U akademskim radovima i stručnoj analitici skorašnje balkanske krize više su nego vidljivi tragovi dominantnog političkog narativa na pojedinim vanbalkanskim stranama i pre prikrivaju nego što otkrivaju stvarne korene balkanske krize. Slično je sa promovisanjem integrativnih procesa pod pritiskom ekonomskih i geopolitičkih interesa. U jednom preglednom članku nema prostora da se detaljno elaborira svaka pomenuta tema, ali dovoljno da se kroz upečatljive primere osvetli praksa i podstakne dalje traganje.

Abstract:
This master's thesis deals with the identification of the material flow curve from record of tensile test of smooth cylindrical specimen. First, necessary theory background is presented. Basic terms of incremental theory of plasticity, tensile test procedure and processing its outputs are described. Furthermore, possibilities of mathematical expression of the elastic-plastic material constitutive law, thus mathematical expression of the material flow curve itself. Mechanism of ductile damage of material is explained briefly as well. Overview of recent methods of the flow curve identification is given, focused on cases, when the stress distribution in a specimen is not uniaxial. That is either kind of analytic correction of basic formulas derived for uniaxial stress state, or application of mathematical optimization techniques combined with numerical simulation of the tensile test. Also unusual method of neural network is mentioned. For 8 given materials, the flow curve identification was performed using different methods. Namely by analytic correction, optimization, sequential identification and neural network. Algorithms of the last two methods were modified. Based on assessment of obtained results, application field and adjusting the parameters of single algorithms was recommended. It showed up, that an effective way to the accurate and credible results is the combination of different methods during flow curve identification procedure.

This thesis describe detection of direction receiving sound with small–size microphone array. Work is based on analyzing methods of time delay estimation, energy decay or phase difference signal. Work focus mainly on finding of angle of arrival in small time difference.
