Abstract:
The unique iris pattern of each human eye is complex, but easily be scanned or captured by a camera. However, the high cost infrared iris scanners used for acquisition causes inconvenience to users by distance related constraints. This restricts its widespread use in real-time applications such as airports and banks. The images captured by cameras under visible wavelength are obstructed by the presence of reflections and shadows which requires additional attention. The main objective of this paper is to propose a secure biometric iris authentication system by fusion of RGB channel information

The article explores the prospects of using different methods of biometric identification during forensic registration. The author established that biometric data, together with the appropriate technical means by which identification is carried out, can become an integral part of the system of information and technical support of forensic registration. The author clarified the identification of biometric identification methods. Two groups of biometric identification methods are analyzed, namely: static and dynamic. Static methods of biometric identification include face recognition ("auto

AbstractThe combination of complementary techniques for materials analysis can play a key role in both art conservation and academic research. Nowadays, the correlation of x‐ray fluorescence (XRF) with hyperspectral reflectance imaging in the visible and infrared region has become a valuable tool for palette identification, painting techniques studies and for the diagnostic support dedicated to restoration and conservation. Moreover, both techniques enable researchers to reveal fascinating underpaintings, “pentimenti”, or even preparatory drawings offering new details on the creative process o

Nowadays security is the most common problem in door locking system. Anyone can break the door using hard objects and make a robbery of the home, offices and any other properties. This can lead to huge loss for the human economy. In this paper we are proposing a model, in which we used to lock and open the entryway utilizing the google help over the voice and stun IoT board and stun IoT application. This paper aims at the identification of a standard security system for commercial and personal vehicles installed on a remote-controlled unlocking device that promises a high accuracy without compromising on the response time. The proposed technology combines three bio-metric security systems on the basis of their performance and response times to make vehicles more secured. The paper compares the efficiencies of different bio-metric security systems based upon their mean accuracy and response times. Introduction Figure 1 The counter-Terrorism advertising campaign of London’s Metropolitan Police commodifies some everyday items such as mobile phones, computers, passports and credit cards as having the potential to sustain terrorist activities. The process of ascribing cultural values and symbolic meanings to some everyday technical gadgets objectifies and situates Terrorism into the everyday life. The police, in urging people to look out for ‘the unusual’ in their normal day-to-day lives, juxtapose the everyday with the unusual, where day-to-day consumption, routines an

Abstract:
This chapter shows how new forms of human and technological experimentation transform humanitarian work, and through it, affects the lives of some of the world’s most vulnerable people around the world. New digital technologies have radically altered how humanitarian actors identify, prevent, and resolve conflicts and disasters. Mobile phones, geodata technologies, and social networks have made it possible to collect data about when crises occur and how to stop them. Digital payment systems and iris scanners are now used to control the delivery of emergency aid, food, and water in refugee camp
