Abstract We investigate the assembly history of massive disk galaxies and describe how they shape their morphology through cosmic time. Using SHARDS and HST data, we modeled the surface brightness distribution of 91 massive galaxies at redshift 0.14 < z ≤ 1 in the wavelength range 0.5–1.6 μm, deriving the uncontaminated spectral energy distributions of their bulges and disks separately. The influence of random soil dynamical parameters on seismic vibrations of extended structures is studied. The excitation is modeled by vector random process. Soil dynamic parameters are supposed random variables stochastically independent on random excitations. The problem is solved as linear. General equations are given. A simple specific case is being considered: system with two elastically connected masses, each of them is situated on soil. The numerical results obtained show that accounting for random soil parameters may alter the system response significantly.

Abstract:
We report here a female patient of 33 years with a variant of Alport's syndrome (macrothrombocytopenia, leucocyte inclusions, deafness and proteinuria). The bleeding problems consisted of ecchymoses and menorrhagia, the deafness was of the ^ensorineural type. The platelet count in whole blood was 14.109/I, the mean platelet volume 22.8 μm3 . The template bleeding time exceeded 30 minutes. Ultrastructural studies of the peripheral blood revealed giant spheroid platelets with a high density of organelles, an abundance of vacuoles and an apparently disorganized microtubular system. The oxidation of kerosene (Jet-A1) and that of surrogate mixtures have been studied experimentally in a jet-stirred reactor at 1 to 40 atm and constant residence time, over the high temperature range 800–1300 K, and for variable equivalence ratio 0.5&amp;lt;φ&amp;lt;2). Concentration profiles of the reactants, stable intermediates, and final products have been obtained by probe sampling followed by on-line and off-line GC analyses. The oxidation of kerosene in these conditions was modeled using a detailed kinetic reaction mechanism (209 species and 1673 reactions, most of them reversible). In
