This thesis deals with the Change Management issue and its use in Plzeňský Prazdroj, a. s. The paper briefly summarizes the basics of Change Management and it also describes types of changes , change process and some of Change Management models, of which the greatest attention is paid to the Kotter's eight step method. The aim of this work is to analyze the functioning of Change Management in Plzeňský Prazdroj from the perspective of the use of the mentioned Kotter's method and the communication of changes to employees. This objective was fulfilled through a questionnaire survey among employees affected by the change and through semi-structured interviews with project team members. The questionnaire and interviews questioned Change Management of two large projects implemented during past years in this company. The answers obtained from the questionnaires and interviews complemented each other . I found that the most neglected part of the change processes of these projects was post--implementation phase, which includes the change integration and anchoring. In the end of the practical part is the summary of key learnings and my suggestions for improvement.

Interest in hippocampus increased sharply after his significance in the process of learning and retention of information was published. In particular, considerable interest was in its volume changes and their effect on Alzheimer’s disease. Understanding the structure and function hippocampus would contribute to a more accurate diagnosis of this disease. In this work was created a method of hippocampal segmentation using active contours. With its help, the data composed of both healthy and a diseased patients was segmented and the results were then statistically analyzed using statistical methods such as Kruskal-Walis test, Mann-Whitney test. The level of significance given by results of analysis supports alternative hypothesis that attaches significance of the difference in volume of the hippocampus between studied groups.

This master‘s thesis deals with risk management of business entity. Risk management is divided into the identification, analysis and measure of risks. All of these areas are described in the theoretical part. In the analytical part of the work these areas are identified by using risk analysis environment that includes a SLEPTE analysis, the Porter's model and the 7S Model. These risks are evaluated with scoring method. Most important causes and consequences are figured in Ishikawa diagrams. In the last part of the thesis are suggested measures to eliminate these risks. The diversification was propossed for one of the measure. The contribution of this work lies in treatment of risk management of business entity and demostrate the benefits of its implementation in the company.

According to AK and R&D models, permanent rise in investment rates and the growing number or researchers should have permanent effects on growth rate. Charles Jones (1995a) used the lack of long-term movements in GDP and productivity growth to challenge the validity of these models. The aim of this paper is to empirically re-test these models of endogenous growth. The author follows the methods proposed by Ch. Jones (1995a) and extends the analysis for variables that could offset the movements in growth rates. The results show no support for the tested models.

The issue of an aging population, pension systems and pension themselves, are currently very actual, interesting and socially topics discussed. In my diploma thesis on simulation models of pension insurance due to demographic development in the CR I used simulation experiments, including those based primarily on the Monte Carlo method, tackling issues and negatives surrounding pension insurance with state contribution, which, as one of the financial products market, is the second pillar of pension system in the Czech Republic. Pension scheme of pension insurekce with state contibution gives participants the advantages and benefits in the form of state subsidy, the possibility of reducing the income tax base on the part of the contributions paid, proceeds from fund management and the possibility of contributions from the employer. On the other hand, play an important role, weaknesses and shortcomings of this system. Again, the most important may be considered inseparateness fund's assets from an estate participants, inappropriately designed state contribution, the high average age of participants and relatively low rate of return on fund management. Negatives mentioned above were reflected in the simulation experiments, when the linear state contribution was designed and was considered for the new system of pension saving in combination with a linear state contribution, which appears to be a more appropriate and beneficial for both participants on the one hand, and the state (impact on public spendings) on the other.

This diploma thesis deals with the analysis of volume changes of selected silicate based composites. The first part introduces the issue of volume changes of concrete, especially the shrinkage process, two selected models for shrinkage prediction, describes configuration and course of performed tests, as well as the processing of measured experimental data. The second part contains input data modified by the program GTDiPS and another calculated parameters. The result of the work is the evaluation of the influence of thermal dilation on the development of shrinkage of young concrete. Another output is the comparison of accuracy of the two selected prediction models to capture the course of measured shrinkage.

In the presented paper the changes in mean runoff, temperature and precipitation totals in
an observed period 1962-2015 in the catchment river Hačka are assessed. The paper further
presents the analysis of climate change impact on mean runoff between the periods 1984-2014
(control period) and 2035-2065 and 2068-2098 (scenario periods) using the projections of three
regional climate model simulations. Thin Plate Spline interpolation was used to estimate basin
precipitation and temperature. Modified hydrological analogy was used for precise quantification
of naturalized runoff (i.e. not affected by water use). Climate change scenarios were
derived using simple delta change approach, i.e. observed series of precipitation and temperature
were adjusted in order to give the same changes between the control and scenario period
as regional climate model simulations. Hydrological balance was modelled with a conceptual
hydrological model Bilan. The parameters of the hydrological model were estimated using observed
data. These parameters were subsequently used to derive discharge series under climate
change conditions for each regional climate model simulation. Results showed a 1.7 °C average
increase in mean annual temperature in the scenario period 2035-2065 and a 2.8 °C average
increase in the scenario period 2068-2098. The seasonal cycle of precipitation in the scenario
conditions is shifted, although mean annual precipitation totals remain practically unchanged
(max changes -8.1 %; +9.3 %). The mean annual discharge decreases by 5.7% in average (most
20.3 %) in period 2035-2065 and a significant decrease of 25.5% in average (most 45.9 %) in
annual mean discharge is expected in the period 2068-2098. Frequency of minimal runoff is expected
to increase up to two times. Precipitation increase is expected from the beginning of the
fall to the beginning of the summer, with a slight decrease in spring. Increase in precipitation
is followed by evapotranspiration increase, caused by increase in temperature. Summer precipitation
is expected to decrease as well as summer runoff. Due to the temperature increase, time
shift of the snowmelt is expected from the periods between March-April to January-February.
This will also affect the increase of the discharge in this period. This knowledge can be applied
in water management planning in the future.

This thesis deals with design, implementation and analysis of the model for dynamic changes in the terrain. Present state of terrain deformation in OpenSceneGraph environment is described and available relevant software called TDS, which allows terrain adaptation to new inserted objects is presented. Special emphasis is placed on design of model for physically based terrain deformations that are caused by moving object or by bomb explosion. The results of simulation tests are presented and on the base of model analysis, the optimizations, which significantly improve final algorithm, are designed and realized.

The aim of The Diploma Thesis was to compile a conceptual rainfall-runoff model, that would be eligible to model discharge in conditions of climate changes. After thorough verifications of possible variants, user program Runoff Prophet that is eligible to simulate discharge in closing profile of any river basin was compiled within this paper. Runoff Prophet is deterministic lumped model with monthly computation time step and from the hydrologic phenomena it takes soil moisture, evapotranspiration, groundwater flow and the watercourse flow into account. Its calibration is based on the differential evolution principle with Nash–Sutcliffe model efficiency coefficient as the calibration criterion. Developed software was tested on Vír I. catchment basin and the results of this probe were evaluated from viewpoints of air temperature, precipitation and discharge characteristics in the Dalečín measurement river cross section in distant future according to A1B SRES climate scenario, implemented in LARS-WG weather generator.

Práce vznikla jako reakce na masivní rozvoj mobilních technologií, přičemž většina podniků přistupuje k implementaci živelně, bez potřebné analýzy současného prostředí a bez realizace komplexních změn v jejich podnikání tak, aby využily všech výhod mobilního prostředí. Cílem práce je analyzovat možnosti podniků při aplikaci mobilního obchodování do jejich systémů a procesů. Práce ukazuje jak komplexně řešit změny v přístupu podniku, v jeho obchodních modelech, ve vztahu k projektům, procesům i zákazníkům tak, aby podniky maximálně využily potenciálu mobilního podnikání. Zároveň si klade za cíl být návodem pro implementaci mobilních řešení v podniku tak, aby podnik maximalizoval užitek ze zavedení mobilních řešení a zároveň tato řešení vycházela ze současného stavu a z potřeb podniku. Práce se zde soustřeďuje hlavně na změny procesů, metrik, personální politiky a architektury informačních systémů a poukazuje na faktory úspěšnosti mobilních projektů. Cílem práce je zároveň vyplnit mezeru v odborné literatuře, kdy ve většině prací chybí propojení technologického pohledu na obchodního, tedy mobilních technologií se zaměřením na jejich komerční využití v praxi a budoucí rozvoj těchto technologií opět s ohledem na jejich obchodní využití. Mezi další cíle patří vymezení terminologie mobilního podnikání a analýza silných a slabých stránek jednotlivých technologií pro jejich využití. Práce je členěna do tří logických částí, do části definiční, analytické a aplikační. V části definiční se na základě odborné literatury vymezuje předmět řešení a definují základní pojmy oblasti mobilního podnikání. Část závěrů a definic vznikla vlastním odvozením na základě dostupných teoretických zdrojů obchodních modelů, mobilního podnikání, či teorií internetového podnikání z univerzit v ČR, Evropě (zejména v Německu a Švýcarsku) i USA. Analytická část ukazuje současný stav mobilních technologií a zároveň i analýzu možností těchto technologií. Základem a přínosem je zde právě analýza těchto technologí a jejich vztah k jednotlivým obchodním modelům, jsou zde také hodnoceny i jednotlivé modely a jejich připravenost na mobilní obchodování. Součástí aplikační části je vlastní návrh konkrétních změn v podniku u jednotlivých obchodních modelů a to nikoliv pouze změn technologických, ale jejich integrace se změnami procesními, personálními a změnami metrik tak, aby se úspěšně implementovaly všechny výhody mobilního podnikání. Jádrem práce jsou tedy návrhy holistických změn v podniku. Tyto změny vychází z mých návrhů, které byly následně modifikovány pří práci ve fokusních skupinách projektových manažerů mobilních řešení, část (hlavně komplexní řešení změn) vychází z vlastních výzkumů a zkušeností, které byly následně prověřeny implementací v praxi v českých i mezinárodních podnicích. Celá tato doporučení jsou zasazena i do kontextu právního rámce a jsou zde zohledněny i významy pro jednotlivé faktory úspěšnosti imlplementace mobilních řešení u každého z obchodních modelů. Tyto faktory vycházejí z analýzy fokusních skupin a dotazování oborníků z praxe. Práce by tedy měla hlavně sloužit jako metodický podklad pro změnu v jednotlivých obchodních modelech podnikání a zároveň sloužit jako teoretický základ pro oblast mobilního podnikání a to zejména doplněním odborné literatury o chybějící témata.

This dissertation thesis deals with elastohydrodynamic lubrication (EHL) of surfaces with real roughness. Systematic study of surface harmonic components behaviour, during their passage of the EHL contact, by other authors led to retrieval of a uniform principle according which individual harmonic components deform inside the contact. Although the amplitude attenuation model can provide rapid tool for more accurate surface assessment in design process it has not been validated on real surfaces till now. The thesis represents pioneering work on quantitative analysis of real surfaces EHD measurements. It contains original and new results with real and model roughness features that in many cases confirm theoretical expectations. Deeper understanding of surface roughness behaviour inside EHL contact, which is typical for machine parts like bearings, gears, cams etc., can help to improve design process of the components and ultimately enable machines and equipment to work with lower energy requirements and higher durability.

The goal of the thesis is to analyse the current condition of technical facilities in order to plan expansion of production. Next goal is to analyse the motivation of workers to accept changes. The theoretical part defines coaching, force of habit and method GROW, which is used in coaching. In the practical part there are coaching interviews with chosen employees of the chosen company. On the basis of interviews it is shown how to remove potential barriers that hinder the smooth implementation of changes, and recommendations for introduction of changes are suggested.

This diploma thesis deals with the analysis of the birth rate and fertility rate in dependence on the economic conditions of the Czech Republic. The aim of this thesis is to analyze relations between selected socio-economic indicators and total fertility rate on the basis of available data and to evaluate changes related to birth and fertility in the Czech Republic, which occurred in the period 1993-2015. The thesis is divided into two main parts - theoretical and analytical. In the theoretical part are described the basic methods of calculating the characteristics for the analysis of the level of birthrate and fertility, as well as the development of selected socio-economic indicators. An important part of the first part of the diploma thesis is specification of used methods within time series. The second part is practically focused on cointegration analysis and subsequent assembly of single-row models from which error correction models were obtained by transformation. These can be used to describe short and long term relationships between time series. Explained variables are aggregate fertility in all assembled models, the explanatory variables are GDP, average gross monthly wage, final consumption expenditure for households, child allowances, parental allowance and household loans per capita.

In this Master's Thesis I am solving two seemingly not related issues -- the title of the thesis is to propose the change of the SME approach to the cooperation with partners and the target of the thesis is to recommend to the company changes in business and management behaviour which will help to break through the tenders of the large size companies. To meet the target of the Master's Thesis there was analysed current situation of the particular enterprise which does not cooperate with large companies. There were used Five-Forces Model, PEST analyse and SWOT analyse to describe this enterprise. Based on the analyses' results there were discovered main deficiencies which are connected with the character and behaviour of the owners. The basic deficiencies are missing planning and undisciplined behaviour of the owners to their firm and missing Quality management certification. If the company eliminates them, it has better chance to be successful in the tenders of the large companies. Cooperation, partnership or another company connection, these are also the opportunities how to become the supplier of the big company. Czech SME trading with electronical components are not willing to cooperate with other companies. In this Master's Thesis I gave the reasons, why the companies should have positive approach to cooperation.

Water, wind, or tillage-induced soil erosion can significantly degrade soil quality and decrease crop yield from farm fields. Traditionally, the research in soil erosion is mostly focused on water or wind erosion. Recent studies over last two decades, however, point to the importance of tillage operations as a source of soil translocation on hilly agricultural land. Tillage disturbs the soil not only vertically but also horizontally by throwing soil in the tillage direction.
This study was designed to assess the soil translocation effect in topsoil before and after 5 tillage operations by using three different practices, namely mouldboard ploughing (A), chisel plough (B), and disc harrow (C) in the Chernozems region at the Sardice (South Moravia, the Czech Republic).
The influence of different tillage practices on the changes in depth of topsoil was assessed through description of 37 shallow pits - 10 pits was digged out before the tillage operations and then other 27 pits after five tillage operations. The results of the soil survey are based on the evaluation of the stratigraphy of the soil profile where the potential loss of topsoil was determined by a change in transition between the dark Ac horizon and yellow loess Ck horizon and by the type of the transition. Shift of topsoil after five performed operations is in the range of 9-15 cm at the top position of concave-convex slope and 4-14 cm at the top of concave slope. From the results of the experiment are also apparent significant shifts across to each tillage practice (C to A), which are, however, more or less caused by the shape of the slope.
By creating and comparing the DEM for the conducted experiment I managed to learn that the largest transport of soil particles was caused by mouldboard plough. Transport of soil particles was larger in the vertical direction than in the horizontal and moved in the range
of -5 to +13 cm. When undermining by a chisel plough was a significant horizontal shift of soil particles to the sides in the range of -5 to +5 cm. The method of shallow tillage with a disc harrow showed a change of the relief in the horizontal direction also in the range of -5 to +5 cm.

The aim of this diploma thesis is revenue recognition in the financial statements of companies prepared in accordance with the rules of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) in the light of current changes. The work is specifically focused on long-term construction contracts and its goal is assess the difference outgoing (IAS 11) and the incoming (IFRS 15) revenue regulation and the subsequent impact to the financial statements of companies. After a theoretical analysis of the relevant standards, work deals with the analysis of specific construction contract and continuously arising circumstances. The analysis also outlines the application of the new revenue recognition model. Ultimately, thesis deduces the difficulties of the implementation process of the new standard in companies. The results show that the upcoming adjustment of revenue recognition may not bring significant changes to the specific numerical values, rather as a completely new view of revenue recognition.

The aim of this work is to acquaint the reader with the theory of human resources management, process reengineering area and related expressions. The work identifies personal types or groups of persons involved in the process reengineering projects and availability of defined human resources on the Czech market. Theoretical knowledge is described on two real projects of process reengineering - in small and purely Czech company and in large multinational company. On these projects also participated teams of different HR composition and scale, which allow to show interesting differences. Two projects only are certainly not relevant for the sample of general conclusions, but they are very useful to demonstrate specific examples of theory in practice. In a reengineering process also occur some problems caused by the type of projects, by process maturity, but also by the composition of human resources involved in the project. Parts of this work are crisis plans too - proposals for solving these crisis situations. I believe that the progress of the project is also affected by the level of stress put on the human resources, which is found in the survey that is part of this work. The survey compares whether the effects of stress changes team roles of specific project participants, including the composition of the project team. The research results are the main contribution of this work. The basis of the research is the definition of the team roles by Belbin. The main part sof this work are the basic terms and current level of examination of this area, it also contains examples of real projects, research and crisis plans.

Cyclical component of aggregate net inventory investment in Czech republic between I.quarter 1996 and IV.quarter 2010 can be described by Production smoothing model, which says, that it is more advantageous for firms to absorb shocks of their product demand into inventories than to adjust their production permanently. This statement stands on a discovery, that cyclical component of net inventory investment is negativelly corralated with cyclical component of final sales and at the same time variability of cyclical component of final sales is higher than cyclical component of production (GDP). Although it is not possible to expect that every firm in the economy will behave according to this model, it seems, with respect to the analysis, that the cost of adjustment is one of the most important factors considered by firms within their optimalization problem.

The demographic structure seems to change dramatically over the next 50 years in the Czech Republic. The aim of this study is to assess the impact of expected demographic changes on the future development of a real interest rate and international capital flows. In order to simulate the impact of the expected demographic changes upon the mentioned variables we apply a computable overlapping generations model. The real interest rate development is simulated under a closed economy assumption. As a result of the future expected demographic changes labour-capital ratio tends to fall, i.e. the real interest rate diminishes. The range of a change is significantly affected by a public budget closure rule. In case of an endogenous income tax rate, the real interest rate falls down by 0.5 percentage point. On the contrary, the real interest rate decreases by almost 1 percentage point in case when public transfers adjusted. Assuming an open economy, we simulate the impact of the expected demographic changes on the international capital flows between the domestic economy and the rest of the world. In case of increasing ratio of older agents, the aggregate domestic wealth surpasses the demand for capital by domestic firms. As a result a part of domestic capital is exported abroad. Increasing level of net foreign assets contributes to positive change in ratio of the balance of payment to the domestic production in a range from 2 to 5 percentage points over next 40 years if income taxes or public transfers change respectively.
