The article was prepared on the empirical database of a sociological survey of schoolchildren’s parents in the Novosibirsk region. Re- 184 search tasks included the following: to involve opinion of parents about the ongoing changes in the Russian school system, about the quality of education, opportunities for personal progress in the framework of modern conditions, as well as about future plans and choice of profession.
