IFRS 15 trädde i kraft 1 januari 2018, och innebar en stor förändring för intäktsredovisningen. Det saknas studier genomförda i en svensk kontext som undersöker om IFRS 15 haft någon påverkan på redovisningskvaliteten. Studien visar att redovisningskvaliteten, som mäts genom graden av resultatmanipulering, har ökat sedan införandet av IFRS 15 med avseende på de intäktsrelaterade periodiseringarna. Sett till de totala periodiseringarna har ingen förbättring skett, vilket innebär att det fortfarande förekommer resultatmanipulering hos företagen noterade på Stockholmsbörsen.

Agrestius, a renegade monk, accused the deceased Columbanus and his practices of being heretical, provoking the Synod of Mâcon in 626/627. While Agrestius’s attempt failed, the synod led to a modification in Columbanian practices. The severity of Columbanus’s legislation was modified by incorporating the Regula Benedicti with Columbanian practices. The purpose of this contribution is to re-evaluate Lugg, a somewhat unusual site and to assign it chronologically to the Late Bronze Age period. The site is in an area that is ‘facing the ocean’ to use Barry Cunliffe’s memorable phrase. This general area is well known to Barry, a region to which he has contributed so much over many years, both from the point of view of detailed Weldwork, interpretation and wider comparative studies. Time-wise the site fits into a main period of Barry’s interests and accordingly we oVer this contribution in appreciation of his academic work as well as the positive role that he has played in aiding the development of Irish archaeological studies. Lugg is one of at least a dozen archaeological sites located on Saggart Hill, about 18km southwest of Dublin city (figure 10.1). Prior to excavation in 1939 by Howard Kilbride-Jones, it was thought that the site with its enclosing bank and central mound might represent a disc-barrow. However, a preliminary survey (Kilbride-Jones 1950: 315) revealed that the mound had a surrounding ditch as well as the visible bank and this complex central monument was in turn surrounded by a bank and ditch, (enclosing an area about 37m in diameter), which alerted the excavator to the fact that the site might be more complex than previously envisaged (figure 10.2). Excavation subsequently revealed a complex range of features that were interpreted as representing three phases of activity and, based on the identification of the pottery, were assigned to the Iron Age period. Phase 1 representing the earliest activity consisted of a timber monument that was termed a ‘Sanctuary- Site’. The second phase was interpreted as representing a habitation site and the final phase was described as being a modified ‘henge’ monument (ibid. 1950: 316). The evidence for Kilbride-Jones’ earliest phase, which he referred to by the then popular term of a ‘sanctuary-site’, was located mainly beneath the central mound with further areas located in the wide level area (called a berm by Kilbride-Jones) between the inner and outer enclosures. The evidence consisted of three fireplaces, limited areas of paving and one hundred and sixty post- and stake-holes.

Theriault talks about Aboriginal research recognizing the openness contribution of elders. Kheang proposed appropriate andragogical guidelines for USA teacher leaders in adult classrooms to enhance international undergraduate students' learning satisfaction. A number of doctoral students tested the andragogical Modified Instructional Perspectives Inventory (MIPI) application: Jones with controlling eating habits, Van Iseghem with virtual and hybrid employees in a technology firm, Primm in problem-based learners, Hamra comparing nurses in pre-ceptored and simulation learning, Anderson contrasting lean six-sigma and a combination of andragogy/leadership/organizational learning, Shostak between trial lawyers and jurors, and Curran with keyboard classes in programming and instruction. Also added are the early and advanced levels of competencies for learning facilitator, program developers, administrators, and researchers. This chapter explores all of this.

In this chapter the explores the comedic devices and themes on display in The Far Side. First, he looks into Larson’s working methods as a comedian, charting his process from free associative brainstorming into strategies of refining and clarifying his jokes, and finally receiving critical feedback from editors. Second, using specific cartoons as examples, he analyzes the humor of Larson’s work in relation to basic theories of what makes us laugh: surprising incongruities, irreverent treatments of taboo subject matter, and comic depictions of violence or misfortune that evoke in the reader mingled emotions of sympathy and schadenfreude. He then explores a number of the comedic devices commonly used in The Far Side, considering ways that Larson modified or combined them in original ways: wordplay that literalized figurative speech or tested the logic of clichéd maxims; in medias res (in the middle of the action) vignettes that required readers to complete a narrative; cross-overs between animal and human worlds; gothic or morbid deconstructions of comforting social myths; and cheeky parodies of a variety of genres, mediums and discourses. Throughout the chapter the author periodically breaks away from close readings of Larson’s cartoons to paint in broad strokes the larger philosophical meanings circulating around The Far Side, suggesting ways that his comedy often became pointedly satiric, borrowing from the philosophical traditions of naturalism, absurdism, and the carnivalesque.

The typical offshore wind turbine generator (WTG) currently being installed worldwide produces 6 to 8 megawatts of electrical power and stands more than 100 meters above the ocean surface. The next generation turbines will produce 12 megawatts or more. In the summer of 2016 five of these turbines were installed in the coastal waters of Rhode Island. They are representative of the latest in a constantly evolving series of WTGs. As manufacturers continue to develop more powerful turbines, larger and larger specialized vessels will be needed to lift the components at assembly sites offshore. The

In this paper, we estimated the thermodynamic and transport properties of cryogenic hydrogen using classical molecular simulation to clarify the limit of classical method on the estimation of those properties of cryogenic hydrogen. Three empirical potentials, the Lennard-Jones (LJ) potential, two-center Lennard-Jones (2CLJ) potential, and modified Buckingham (exp-6) potential, and an ab initio potential model derived by the molecular orbital (MO) calculation were applied.
