Abstract:
On the basis of establishing programming model of geometric error’s minimum regional evaluation, this paper applies modified simplex method to optimization evaluation of axial parts’ roundness measurement in order to improve the accuracy and speed of roundness error evaluation. The result shows that roundness error evaluation based on modified simplex method is of the following advantages such as high evaluation accuracy, fast calculation speed and good repeatability and so on. Practical examples prove that this method is of universality and practicality.

Abstract:
Over 220 linear miles of geophysical data, including sidescan sonar and chirp sub-bottom profiles, were collected in 2016 and 2017 by the US Army Corps of Engineers and the US Fish and Wildlife Service in the upper Niagara River. In addition, 36 sediment grab samples were collected to groundtruth the geophysical data. These data were used to map the spatial distribution of fine-grained sediment, including volume data in certain locations, along the shallow shorelines of the upper Niagara River. Overall, the most extensive deposits were spatially associated with either small tributaries or with

Objectives: 1) Clarification of the mode of potentiation of an expressed insect selective neurotoxin (AaIT) by its recombinant baculovirus. 2) In vitro formation and/or modification of neuroactive polypeptides for the design of new improved recombinant baculoviruses. Results: 1) A combined utilization of bioassays, LM-cytochemistry, the highly resolutive EM immunogold and electrical recording from the CNS of baculovirus and AaIT - expressing – recombinant baculovirus infected larvae it has been shown that the recombinant virus potentiates the effect of the toxin. Abstract:
Patterned substrate growth is a technique that layers of thin film are grown on a substrate with a predetermined pattern. A simple model is used to study patterned growth process with two different types of pattern: flat pattern and periodic pattern. The goals are to determine growth conditions that enable the grown film to reproduce the original pattern, and to determine how much of the original patterns survive up to a specific time. The persistence probability is used to determine fractions of survived pattern. We found that in flat patterned growth, a high substrate temperature which resul

Abstract:
The range of submarine detection is frequently limited by the refraction produced by vertical temperature gradients in the superficial layers of the ocean. In order to measure these temperature gradients and thus to permit predictions of the range, the bathythermograph was developed and is now being used on a considerable number of anti-submarine vessels, while a somewhat modified version of the instrument is being tried out on submarines. Some 6675 bathythermograph observations from the western North Atlantic have been examined in order to determine how frequently such observations should be
