This research investigates the effect of three types of parameters: mold geometrical, operational, and paper parameters.

Abstract:
Feldspars are one of the archetypical families of framework silicates. They not only comprise around 60% volumetrically of the Earthâ s crust, but are among some of the most structurally complicated minerals. Investigation into the structural behavior of various intermediate plagioclases at pressure has been undertaken with the intent of categorizing the elastic behavior with pressure across the solid solution series and establishing a conceptual model to characterize feldspar compression. Complex behavior has been observed in the Equation of State for plagioclase feldspars in excess of 3 GPa

Doubly cross-linked gels were fabricated based on tetra-poly(ethylene glycol) (Tetra-PEG) by shear strain. These are gels with two network structures present in the same polymeric network. The second network structure is introduced by applying a mechanical field to the first natural network structure. These doubly cross-linked gels indicated a negative energy elasticity supporting earlier findings where the energy elasticity was found significantly negative for Tetra-PEG gel. Acquired results indicate implications for past research on the elasticity of polymer gels where the energy contributio

The compatibility properties of some contemporary finish coats together with their complementary layers used in insulated exterior walls were examined in terms of water vapour permeability and modulus of elasticity. Basic physical and mechanical properties of some synthetic-, cement- and polymer-based external finish coats were analyzed in laboratory. Some additional samples, complementing the wall section, were also examined for their water vapour permeability. Results showed that the finish coats were high vapour permeable although they had high resistance to water vapour permeation, which

Recent investigations in nanotechnology show that carbon nanotubes (CNT) have one of the most significant mechanical, electrical and optical properties. Interactions between those areas like electrical, optical and mechanical properties are also very promising in both research and industrial fields. Those unique characteristics are built by mainly the atomistic structure of the carbon nanotubes. In this thesis, the effects of vacant atoms on single walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNT) are investigated using matrix stiffness method. In order to use this technique a linkage between structural mechani
