Abstract:
The article is devoted to the relationship between the Kazakh Khanate and Moghulistan in the 15th - early 16th centuries. In the historical literature, the Turkic-speaking tribes who lived in the XIII-XVII centuries were called moguls in the eastern part of the Chagatai ulus. In the middle of the XIV century Mogul tribes formed the state of Moghulistan, which included the territory of modern South-East Kazakhstan (Zhetysu), Kyrgyzstan and East Turkestan (XUAR of the PRC), Tashkent and Sairam. The early history of the Kazakh Khanate is also closely connected with the history of Moghulistan. The main source for the study of the relationship between the Kazakh Khanate and Mogulistan in the 15th - early 16th centuries is the famous historical work of Muslim historiography «Tarikh-i Rashidi», which written by the famous historian and Mogul politician Mirza Mohammed Khaidar from the Duglat (Dulat) tribe. His information was supplemented by materials from other Muslim historical works and compared with the results of special scientific research. Based on the analysis of historical materials, the author comes to the conclusion that the relationship between the Kazakh Khanate and Mogulistan in the 15th - early 16th centuries was peaceful and good-neighborly. For a long time, Kazakhs and Moguls even jointly opposed political opponents, until at the end of the 15th century a conflict arose between their rulers, which began to be settled at the beginning of the 16th century. However, the complete victory of Muhammad Sheibani Khan over the rulers of Mogul Sultan Mahmud Khan and Sultan Ahmad Khan in 1503 led to the fall of the Mogulstan. As a result, a significant land part of the Mogulistan became part of the Kazakh Khanate, the Mogul tribes remaining in this territory joined the Kazakh people, becoming one of its significant ethnic components.

Iraqi architecture have many periods passed through it until now, each on from these periods have it is architectural style, also through time these styles interacted among us, to creating kind of space forming, space relationships, and architectural elements (detailed treatments), the research problem being from the multi interacted architectural styles causing some of confused of general characteristic to every style, that we could distinguish by it. Research tries to study architecture style through Mogul Conquest to Baghdad. Aim of research follow main characteristic for this architectural style in the Mogul periods on the level of form, elements, and treatments. Research depending on descriptive and analytical all buildings belong to this period, so from analyzing there style by, general form for building, architectural elements, and it architectural treatment, therefore; repeating this procedures to every building we get some similarities, from these similarities we can making conclusion about pure characteristic of the style of these period. Other side, we also discover some Dissimilar in the building periods, these will lead research to make what interacting among styles in this period, after all that we can drew clearly main characteristic of Architectural Style for Mogul Conquest in Baghdad

Abstract:
This case study examines the longitudinal jump data of 1 male and 1 female world-class mogul skier over the course of a quadrennial leading to the 2010 Winter Olympics. Between-subjects standard deviation, smallest worthwhile enhancement, % coefficient of variance, and effect size (ES) were calculated from team jump testing taking place immediately preceding the 2010 Winter Olympics, as this was deemed the point in the quadrennial that the athlete group would be most likely near their best performance. These data were then used to characterize the progression of explosive power of elite mogul skiers over an Olympic quadrennial. Jump data for both the male and the female athlete showed trivial to large improvements in jump performance from Q1 (quadrennial year 1) to Q2, variable changes in performance from Q2 to Q4, and an overall improvement (small to large ES) from Q1 to Q4. Explosive power is a critical component of performance for moguls, and an analysis of the group data (Canadian athletes 2006–2010) shows that of all performance markers, jump testing is the variable that clearly delineates between World Cup and developmental athletes.

Abstract:
A structural analysis was carried out across on a transect of the eastern part of the Mogul fault along the Charlouleau Gap Road, located in southern Pinal County, Arizona, to examine how the increased presence of the Pinal Schist along the eastern segment of the exposed fault influenced the faulting along this section. Changes in foliation orientation within the Pinal Schist were observed and measured. The data base evaluated included hundreds of foliation orientation measurements taken and reported by Jinks (1961) in his University of Arizona M.S. thesis. The two sets of observations and orientations revealed that the orientations of the foliation within the Pinal Schist are notably different within the eastern segment of the fault versus the western. It was also found that a section of mylonitized Oracle Granite and highly sheared Pinal Schist crop out on the eastern segment of the fault, contrary to past observations that such mylonitic fabrics were exclusively found within the western segment of the fault. The overall geometry of ‘dragged and rotated foliations in the Pinal Schist in the eastern segment of the Mogul fault reinforces Jinks'(1961) interpretation that the kinematic history of this shear zone included left handed shear.

Morgan, Beverley Ann. "The stimulation of innovation advantage through autonomous intrapreneurship at Federal Mogul Sealing Systems South Africa." Thesis, Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University, 2006. http://hdl.handle.net/10948/573.

Abstract:
In the rapidly evolving organisational landscapes of today, the quest to grow or sustain competitive advantage demands that organisational practices become more innovative, hence innovative advantage. Globalisation and technological advances drive the necessity for innovation within organisational contexts and the resultant rapid pace of change demands that organisations adopt an intrapreneurial orientation to accommodate this need for innovation. South African organisations, in particular those within the automotive sector, are faced with both unique opportunities and threats as a result of the increased impact of globalisation and the resultant open markets in the post-apartheid era. Programs offered by governmental institutions for this industry sector, such as the Motor Industry Development Programme (MIDP), as well as widely promoted systems such as those engendered by continuous improvement and benchmarking to achieve excellence, are successful only in attaining uniformity and incremental improvements and one-dimensional thinking methodologies. The quest for innovation advantage requires increased creative activity to assist individuals within these organisations in adopting an intrapreneurial outlook to provide proactive solutions. The literature survey has revealed that top-down controls and centralised decision-making as provided by corporate entrepreneurship, is the antithesis of intrapreneurship. Intrapreneurship is thus an autonomous process. Federal Mogul Sealing Systems (FMSS), an automotive component manufacturer within the Eastern Cape served as the basis for this study. A detailed literature review was conducted and a questionnaire was drawn up and distributed in an attempt to assess the three prevalent elements for the creation of innovation advantage through intrapreneurship as reviewed in the literature survey. The three elements were: individual intrapreneurial traits, organisational barriers and enablers of intrapreneurship and the influence of precipitating events on intrapreneurship. The research was conducted and recommendations were made based on the objectives of this study in relation to the organisation under study, FMSS.

Abstract:
This research addresses the application of Value Stream Mapping in the automotive component industry. The goal of this research is to investigate how Value Stream Mapping can identify waste, and to evaluate its benefits on a specific application instance. Value Stream Mapping is used to first map the current state and then used to identify sources of waste and to identify lean tools to try eliminate this waste. The future state map is then developed with lean tools applied to it. A South African company, Federal Mogul South Africa (FMSA), has experienced the impact of globalisation and the need to become globally competitive first hand. FMSA will be used as a case study to illustrate the impact of using Value Stream Mapping as a tool for identify waste and the need for improving the performance of a company’s value stream in achieving the international goals set for the company and its supply chain.

Full text
Abstract:
This thesis is the study of one of the most consistently used primary sources of early seventeenth century Mughal India. The Embassy of Sir Thomas Roe, written by England's first ambassador to the court of Jahangi r, has traditionally been construed to be a succinct and perceptive account. Moreover, historians have relied on Thomas Roe's observations and conclusions to offer certain interpretations of Jahangi r's court: most notably, its decline as a forum of centralized absolutism into an arena of intrigue and rivalry.
Roe, as a product of Jacobean society, perceived Mughal events and institutions from an early seventeenth century English context, thus limiting any hope of "objective" reporting. To substantiate this assertation, this thesis investigates (a) Roe's life in England and how it related to ongoing literary and political movements; (b) the appearance of Jacobean language and metaphors in his text; (c) and highlighting these incongruencies by examining indigenous Mughal documents. Lastly, the study researches historiographical trends of the colonial era and why they have contributed to the consistent use of this source.

Abstract:

The idea behind this project was to construct a general RF-module as small as possible and the RF-module should be able to connect to an existing design. A transceiver from Chipcon, CC1100, was used together with a microprocessor MSP430 from Texas Instruments. To make

the RF-module handle a wide input voltage range a voltage regulator, XC6202, from Torex was used. The circuit board is a four layer card with one layer ground and components on one side. The components are placed to full fill there purpose and at the same time make the card

as small as possible. With help from a network analyzer the network to the antenna was examined so it obtained a value near 50 W. The RF-module was programmed and tested with good result, but I didn’t participated.

Abstract:
One of the main drivers in the automotive industry is the reduction in fuel consumptions and emissions. In order to achieve these goals, the weight of the engine block as well as the friction in the cylinder bore has to be optimized. This paper describes the FORD PTWA (Plasma Transferred Wire Arc) thermal spray process that protects the aluminum cylinder bore surface against wear by a thermal spray coating. The PTWA technology was originally developed for the application in gasoline V8 engines and it will be shown in this paper how this process can be modified to apply nano-material to produce high-wear resistant, low-friction coatings for highly loaded engine blocks for future demands. A large German BMBF “Nanomobile” Research Program was started in 2005 with 13 partners (DaimlerChrysler, Opel, Porsche, Ford, Gehring, Federal Mogul, GTV Thermal Spray Systems, DURUM, RWTH University and other institutes) in order to develop next generation nano-material coatings for cylinder bores.

Full text
Abstract:
In most industrial applications, a thin film of lubricant improves the tribological behaviour of the load carrying conjunctions. Modern hard disk drives are no exception, where one of the challenges is the progressive demand for higher data storage capacity, while decreasing the physical size of the device. This paper investigates the load carrying capacity of an ultra thin lubricant film formed between the hard disk drive platter and its flying read-write head slider. Hydrodynamic wedge action is responsible for the entrainment of a film of perfluoropolyether into the conjunction, but does not account for the main share of the load carrying capacity of the very thin discretized film, several molecular diameters of the fluid in thickness. It is shown that the main mechanism of pressure generation is in fact the solvation effect. Additionally, starvation of contact may well occur, further exacerbating the thinness of a lubricant film. There is often a cavitation region at the contact exit, which is followed by film reformation, changing the density distribution of lubricant on the surface and consequently the attainable data storage density. This is caused by the observed clumps of lubricant in the reformation zones (a phenomenon referred to as lubricant mogul) which can also cause transient motions of the read-write head.

Abstract:
In lubricated contact conjunctions film ruptures close to the exit boundary. This significantly affects the load carrying capacity and can lead to direct surface interactions. Nano-scale films (several molecular diameters of the lubricant) are no exception, a fact that has been observed using ellipsometry studies for ultra-thin film conjunctions representative for high storage capacity hard disk drives. Immediately beyond the film rupture an area of cavitation occurs and the continuity of flow condition is breached. It has been shown that for molecularly smooth surfaces solvation effect becomes dominant. This means that the contact exit is subject to discrete drainage of lubricant and may be devoid of a sufficient lubricant for film reformation to occur. This can be a stumbling block in an increasing quest to increase the data storage density of hard disk drives. Wear can become a problem as well as non-uniformity of free surface film at the inlet meniscus. It has been noted that peaks of lubricant can gather in some places, a phenomenon referred to as lubricant mogul. These localized piles of lubricant can exceed the nominally aimed for lubricant film thickness necessary for a given data storage level. This paper carries out an in-depth prediction of ultra thin film lubricant behavior through the contact. Hydrodynamic as well as near surface effects and intermolecular interactions responsible for the supply, formation, cavitation and reformation of thin films in the slider-disk conjunction have been considered.

Abstract:
This paper deals with the linguistic heritage of the Maṣlāwī dialect in Iraq spoken by the diverse communities in the city of Mosul, known for its very rich cultural heritage in northern Iraq. Fears among the speakers of the Maṣlāwī dialect, particularly the Christian Maṣlāwīs in Iraq, of losing their unique and multicultural dialect due to demographic changes that affected the city of Mosul is leading researchers to reflect on the many linguistic and cultural affiliations of the Maṣlāwī dialect associated with the religious communities in Mosul, in an attempt to preserve the very unique and vital linguistic heritage of the city.
