The paper thematizes the problematic relationship between economy and happiness covered by economist Robert Michels (1876-1936) in his book “The Economics of Happiness” written in 1918. The constitutional and legal autonomy of the legal system, as a specific legal dualism which is expressed in the relationship between the socialist republics and the federation established by the 1963 Constitution, was further expanded by the 1974 Constitution not only in its scope but also its content.
