Full textThese thesis is the result of a comparative study of two Biblical Hebrew terms: echad (one) and yachid (unique). The objective has been to show how these terms are related in the etymon-semantic aspect to the point of being used, in some occasions, almost as synonyms, whereas in other cases the ideology of the readers and interpreters have done a biased interpretation of these terms. The intention of this research, then, is to provide the students of monotheism within the Jewish and Christian traditions, as well as the researchers in general, with some philological-linguistic tools to a better understanding of the Hebrew biblical text.
Questa tesi è il risultato di uno studio comparatistico di due termini ebraici della Bibbia: ehad (uno) e yahid (unico). L’obiettivo consiste nel dimostrare come questi due vocaboli sono collegati fra loro nell’aspetto etimo-semantico fino al punto di poter essere usati, in certi casi, praticamente come sinonimi, mentre in altri casi l’ideologia dei lettori e degli esegeti ne ha causato un’interpretazione interessata. L’intenzione di questa ricerca, dunque, è di fornire strumenti filologico-linguistici agli studenti del monoteismo sia nella tradizione ebraica, che in quella cristiana e agli studiosi, in generale, per una migliore comprensione del testo biblico ebraico.

Full textMichel Onfray är idag den mest lästa och omdebatterade franske filosofen. Boken Handbok för ateister som utkom förra året har bara i Frankrike sålt i 200 000 exemplar och har hittills utkommit i 9 länder. En av anledningarna till att han vunnit en bred publik är att författaren lyckas med att skriva klargörande och enkelt om angelägna frågor. Konflikter mellan ateister och teister uppstår ständigt och mitt syfte med den här uppsatsen är att undersöka vilken kritik som riktar sig mot ateister som Michel Onfray. Vad anser Onfray om monoteismen?
Jag har använt mig av närläsning av boken Handbok för ateister, vidare gjorde jag en mediesökning där jag letade fram olika artiklar och bloggar som riktade sin kritik mot den boken och mot Michel Onfray.
Onfray riktar en skarp kritik mot alla monoteistiska läror som kristendomen, judendomen och islam. Dessa delar en serie identiska förakt: hat mot förnuftet och intellektet; hat mot friheten; hat mot alla böcker i namn av en enda; hat mot livet; hat mot sexualiteten, kvinnorna och njutningen; hat mot det feminina; hat mot kropparna, begären och drifterna. Enligt Onfray försvarar judendomen, kristendomen och islam: tro och trosvisshet, lydnad och underkastelse, dödslängtan och passion för det hinsides, kyskheten, jungfrudomen och monogam trohet, makten och modern, själen och anden. Onfray argumenterar för ett hedonistiskt förhållningssätt och att vi skall knyta an till upplysningstidens ideal där förnuftet står i centrum. Han förespråkar en ”ateologi”.
För de som riktar sin kritik mot Onfrays sätt att tänka är det svårt att förstå religionskritiker som helt och hållet blundar för religionens positiva funktioner. De menar att överallt där religion förekommer kan man finna verktyg och metoder som bidrar till att utveckla medvetandet i riktning mot tillit, respekt och medkänsla. Överallt i världen söker sig människor i nöd till religionerna och får på olika sätt hjälp. Moder Theresas ihärdiga arbete bland fattiga, sjuka och döende i den indiska staden Calcutta är ett klart sådant praktiskt uttryck för mänsklig omsorg och kärlek. Min slutsats efter att jag har gjort den här undersökningen är att man måste acceptera att vi alla är olika, har olika värderingar och att respektera andras åsikter även om de ibland står emot våra egna. Kunskapen är något som gör att många frågor och fördomar försvinner om man bara tillåter sig själv att ha ett öppet sinne för alla människor.

Full textThis work analyses the possibilities and the obstructions to the religious dialogue within the Jewish community in Recife, Pernambuco, formed by Asquenaze, Sefarade and Messianic Jews. It searches also to highlight what unites them and what divides them, taking the Jewish Theocracy and the complexity of transdisciplinarity as hermeneutic keys. One can see that there is undeniable tension among these groups: they distinguish (and exclude) themselves from one another based on some sacred specific topics. At the same time, they are linked to one another by the fundamental principle of the Jewish Theocracy, i.e. the Jewish axiom of monotheism, the faith in one single God who runs everything. The historical-critical analysis of each group will help to understand their characteristics and the reasons of their differences, hoping to find out the real probabilities for an inter-religious dialogue among them

Full textThe present research examines the various statements about the figure originally introduced as the 'Son' in the book of the Bible known as the Epistle to the Hebrews. The Son is identified as being Jesus Christ, described by the author of the epistle with attributes previously designated only to God, the Father, in a concomitant non-parallel perspective. The qualifications of the Son are in the intersection with the Father's attributes, and constitute the basis for the divine conception of the Son. Given the socio-religious implications, this process of deification is best unders - tood in the Jewish period of national crisis that follows the events of 70 AC, where intra-Jewish conflicts arose. And compared to the monotheistic concept according to Old Testament tradition, the deification of Jesus based on the Epistle to the Hebrews presents theological elements that suggest new monotheistic concepts, referred to in the research as neomonotheism.
A presente pesquisa analisa as diversas declarações sobre o personagem inicialmente apresentado como o 'Filho' no livro da Bíblia hoje conhecido como Epístola aos Hebreus. O Filho é identificado como sendo Jesus Cristo, qualificado pelo autor da epístola com atributos antes designados somente para Deus, o Pai, numa perspectiva concomitante e não paralela. As qualificações do Filho estão em interseção com atributos do Pai, e se constituem a base para a concepção divina do Filho. Em virtude das implicações sociorreligiosas, esse processo de divinização é melhor compreendido no período de crise nacional judaica que se sucede aos eventos de 70 d.C., onde os conflitos intrajudaicos afloraram. E, comparativamente à concepção monoteísta segundo a tradição veterotestamentária, a divinização de Jesus com base na Epístola aos Hebreus apresenta elementos teológicos que sugerem novos conceitos monoteístas, denominados na pesquisa como neomonoteísmo.

Our conclusion will find comprise that God Javé of Deuteronomy 6,4-9 be present and proceed, with involvement active how Father, Son through Jesus, and Holy Spirit, that move and talk together with nation, similar called attention of Israel with the voice that invite to listen.
A partir da análise exegética de Deuteronômio 6,4-9, esta pesquisa aborda o significado da unicidade de Deus, sua relação com a Lei, em defesa do Único Deus representado por elas. Em princípio, pensamos em Deuteronômio 6,4-9 por ser um texto localizado em um dos livros mais importantes na formação do povo de Israel. A importância se faz em meio à constituição legal que rege a vida do povo, como também no sentimento que o povo nutre durante sua história posterior. Nossa investigação nos conduzirá ao Deus Único que hoje ainda sustentamos, com a percepção de sua presença, e em sua relevância. Nossa conclusão buscará compreender que o Deus Javé de Deuteronômio 6,4-9 ainda se faz presente e atuante, com sua participação efetiva que se move e caminha em meio ao seu povo, da mesma forma como chamou a atenção de Israel por meio da voz que convida a ouvir.

Full textThe present work, entitled Mansuetus, Damianus and the Basileus: the Suggestio and the Expositio fidei of the Milan Synodal to Constantinus IV, is a critical edition of the synodal texts sent by Mansuetus, bishop of Milan, to Constantinus IV at the Council of 680-681, which condemned the doctrine of the one Will in the person of Christ. In addition to the reconstruction of the manuscript tradition and the contexts in which the synodal document circulated by the ninth to the sixteenth century, I paid also attention to determine what was the reality of the ecclesiastical province of Milan in the seventh century, by entering the events in the broader context of the dynamics within the great bishops’ sees between East and West.

Full textWith the work here presented, we intend to unravel the process of cultural massification of one of the most important phenomena of old mythology: the death and resurrection of a god, one fundamental feature in the erection of christian monotheism. Methodologically, we'll resort on a comparison between two big groups in which we divide the reality we'll analyze: the Bronze Age and the Iron Age. The first corresponds to a closed society, whereas the in the second we find a democratized and globalized universe, a reality only possible due to the explosion of Greek and Phoenician explorations, and to the invention of the more accessible alphabetic writing. We'll depart with four Bronze Age mythological cycles (which refer to Gilgameš, Inanna, Osir and Baal) to comprehend how the inevitability of the death in these great cycles was built, managing some of the most important symbolic aspects (the fall to the underworld, death, the primordial fight, Chaos, the sacrificial banquet and the resurrection, alongside with the ideological parallel of the own idea of monarch and monarchy). In the Iron Age, we find a cultural context from which emerges a much stronger bond between the individual and the divinity. Here, after we perceive the arrival of the aspiration for immortality, we'll notice multiple texts that reveal how the Bronze Age mythological content was popularized, but now beyond the walls of the palaces: near the commercial harbors and the new populational dynamics. We end up in the figure of Jesus, and in the way some mythological elements consolidated throughout the millenniums can be found reunited under the narratives of the christian messiah, operating fully as a semantic methodology of cultural transmission, an evangelization through this religious idiom: the symbology of death, then already so widespread in the Mediterranean.
