The headwaters of the Javorná River is situated in the northern part of the Jeseníky Landscape Protected Area (N Moravia), north of the Rejvíz National Nature Reserve. A population of the endemic Vestia ranojevici moravica was found in this locality in 1968, cca 70 km far from its known distribution range in the N Moravia. During the recent inventory of this site 48 mollusc species were found including four rare dendrophilous clausilids: Bulgarica cana, Vestia ranojevici moravica, Cochlodina orthostoma and Clausilia cruciata. The beech and scree forests of this locality represent the most preserved malacological site in the Hrubý Jeseník Mts which should be strongly protected.

The manuscript of the "Introduction to the Knowledge on the Hereditary Markgraviate of Moravia" as an appendix to the lecture of political science at the Olomouc lyceum written in 1797 by Prof. Kryštof Passy deals also in several paragraphs with the description of the climate of Moravia. The author, departing from the meteorological observations by Josef Gaar in Olomouc, mentions the description of air pressure, temperature and moisture, evaporation and wind. Besides the description of regional peculiarities of the Moravian climate, Passy tries to explain their causes and deals in detail with the effect of eight basic wind directions on changes in air temperature, air moisture and the course of weather from January to July. Passy's description is verified with respect to the results of modern measurements and the present-day knowledge on Moravian climate.

Abstract:
The study primarily deals with the archeological findings of the women and children luxurious jewelry from the burial sites located at regions nort of the Danube of the so-called Great Moravia. The paper consists of two parts – surveys of archeological and textual evidence. The main goal is interdisciplinary evaluation and comparison of available and well–known sources which indicate a specific discrepancy in the general historiographic interpretation of the formation of the Great Moravian „state“. The discrepancy between archeological and historiographic interpretation is much more obvious in the case of the so-called Principality of Nitra and its assumed elite. The first part of the study contains a comparative analysis of the findings of luxurious jewelry from the regions of present-day Bohemia, Moravia and western Slovakia, where authors point out the qualitative and quantitative differences in the spatial distribution of these artifacts. In the second part, the authors propose the alternative explanatory model of the formation of the so-called core area of Great Moravia based on the different reading of some notorious textual evidence. In this section is critically examined a conventional and rather problematic historiographic explanation based on the notion of the unification of (old) Moravian principality and „Nitrava“ principality as a consequence of the expulsion of Priwina from Nitra by the Moravian dux Mojmír I around 833. Contrastingly, authors rather suggest the later incorporation of the Nitra region to the political unit ruled by the Moravian prince which may have happend as a result of Svätopluk expansion.

This paper summarises all known data about the occurrence and distribution of Bithynia leachii (Sheppard, 1823) and Bithynia troschelii (Paasch, 1842) in the Czech Republic. Both species were already recorded from the Czech Republic in the past, but they were not distinguished. Autochthonous occurrence of both species is restricted to South Moravia; in the floodplains along the Morava River and the Dyje River where both species are very rare. Bithynia troschelii was also found in other sites situated in Bohemia and northern Moravia but these occurrences are not indigenous.

Abstract:
Ever since the first pieces of Great Moravian jewellery were found in early medieval burial grounds, which began to be intensively and extensively explored mainly in Moravia after 1948, it was clear that these were not only elite goods related to the highest social class in Great Moravia of that time, but also exhibition objects that bear the hallmark of exclusivity. Their artistic beauty, the expensive material from which they were made, as well as the craftsmanship with which they were created, were and still are a sure guarantee for the exhibitor that they will interest the public in some way. The paper focuses mainly on large exhibition events, which from the 1960s presented Great Moravian jewellery not only to the Czech, but also to the foreign audience. At the same time, it briefly outlines the future, which is connected with presentation of these exceptional archaeological finds, and which is in the hands of the Moravian Museum in Brno.

Abstract:
2011 - 2012
The main objective of the research was to elicit and evaluate the occurrences of text relating to the images/descriptions of interiors in stories and novels by Alberto Moravia in the recent critical edition edited by Casini-Serra for Bompiani. These titles counted: Racconti dispersi (1927-1940); Gli indifferenti (1929); La bella vita (1935); L’imbroglio (1937); La mascherata (1941); L’amante infelice (1943); Agostino (1946); La disubbidienza (1948); Racconti dispersi (1950-1959); Il conformista (1951); La ciociara (1957); La noia (1960). The research work has also been divided into four chapters preceded by a comprehensive introduction of the reference corpus (7 novels and 54 short stories). At the end of chapters, an important section is represented by the Moravian ‘lemmario’ in which they were lemmatized items related to the culture of living through 56 lexical units divided chronologically and each accompanied by its own number of occurrences (480). At the headwords are followed by the conclusions and bibliography. The criteria for selection of short stories and novels are indicative of the major joints of the poetics of the first Moravia until La disubbidienza which - almost programmatically - is closed and reopened in a new way the relationship with the reality of the universe-bourgeois family: the years training (with the central intervention in review of Villa Mercedes), Gli indifferenti and the collection of short stories of the thirties in which thematized the better the overall reality of the descriptions of interiors; trying to get out of the gloom of the bourgeois interior with the novel La mascherata, the satirical grotesque-masked, together with the important opportunity to assess represented by the five long stories of L’imbroglio and those of L’amante infelice in what are the signs of a new mode of perception of the spaces that are typical of Agostino, novel after the war and, together, the first novel of the second phase of writing Moravian. In the three, very different from each other, novels of the fifties, beyond any sampling of a writing phase, it proved also useful to investigate the onset of the theoretical paradigms of living Moravian, between “nature” and “history” as has been said happily, until the ‘novel-wise’ La noia, after the addition of a group of texts scattered in the same period. During the research work, have emerged areas or reasons micro-operative critical knowledge of contemporary suggestions that have crossed theory problems of the description of thematic criticism and literary anthropology. Thus the consistency of the theoretical question of the status of the interior anthropological and literary Moravian was attested as it founded the emergence in outlook survey transversal: the theme of the interior has been, time to time, compared to the system of the characters, for example, with the tools and stylistic language or, again, with reference to the lines of literary from ‘novel-tragedy’ to ‘novel-wise’. Such an approach has therefore connected industry studies to the central problems in the fiction of Alberto Moravia, such that it is due to discuss cross-disciplinary epistemic straddle between literature and the arts, in line with the areas of scientific research of the PhD research called «historical-geographical areas between disciplinary and interference». Abstract:
The paper deals with the articles of the Zakon sudnyj lyudem (ZSL) and Zapovedi svyatych otec (ZSO), which are considered evidence of a developed viticulture in Great Moravia. The problem of the origin of ZSL and ZSO is also discussed, since some authors (J. Vašica) dispute their Bulgarian origin and refer them to the texts of the Moravian mission of Cyril and Methodius. The analysis of Vašica’s argumentation allows to reject the Moravian hypothesis of origin for ZSL and ZSO. Texts like ZSL and ZSO could not have come into being during the Moravian mission and for that reason cannot serve evidence of a developed viticulture in Great Moravia, regardless of its location.

Abstract:
The aim of this paper is to examine regional and industrial differentiation in the rate of corporate giving in the period 2002-2016. The methodology consists of calculating the ratios between the variables – donors, the number of legal entities in regions and territorial branches of tax offices. The highest donor ratios were found in the Zlín, Pardubice, and Moravian-Silesian Region, the lowest in the capital city of Prague and the Karlovy Vary Region. At microregional level the highest donor ratios were found in the eastern parts of Bohemia and Moravia, while south-western Bohemian regions and southern Moravian regions showed lower numbers. Major cities (Praha, Brno, Ostrava) scored lower than their suburban areas, which may be due to the tendency of some entities to move to the centres in an effort to escape the reach of the tax inspections. This phenomenon, on the other hand, is not so evident in smaller regional centres. This paper confirms that the number of donors (or donor ratio) in the regions remains stable over time, but it is responsive to the external shocks (floods 2002, economic crisis 2008).

Small parcels of agricultural land are rare in the present landscape of Czech Republic and become the subject of interests of the state protection of the nature, the landscape and the environment. At the same time, such areas represent interesting subjects for the local administration as attractive tourist object. In the historical territory of Moravia (the eastern 1/3 of the Czech Republic), a regional inventory of areas with preserved ancient land use structure was carried out on all individual cadastral territories (focused not only on small parcels, but also on large aristocratic estates on agricultural and forest land originated before the main wave of industrial revolution Moravia, before 1850. Abstract:
Orthodoxy in the Czech and Moravian territories in the New Age was initially present thanks to the Russian embassy and Russian visitors to the various Czech resorts, but it was also associated with the intensification of the Cyril and Methodius cult in Western and Eastern Europe (1848, 1863, 1869, 1880-1881, 1885), the development of Slavic philology and the pro-Russian Slavophile sentiments among the intelligentsia. In Slovakia, the situation was different - the Eastern rite was spread in the Uniate structures, with the nascent pursuit of Orthodoxy, especially among the Carpathian Ruthenians. The leading idea of the emergence of Orthodox philological sentiments and movements was the Cyril and Methodius idea and its traces in Moravia, Bohemia, Slovakia and Transcarpathian Ruthenia. The very founding of the Orthodox Church in the country is the work of the Serbian Patriarch Dimitrije (Pavlović). At the head of this Church stands Fr. Matěj Pavlík (1879-1942), ordained by the Serbian Patriarch in 1921. Bishop Gorazd II is preparing an epoch-making liturgical collection: Lidový sborník modliteb a bohoslužebných zpĕvů Pravoslavné Církve (1934, 2nd ed. 1951), including all possible futures of the Cyril and Methodius tradition. He chose July 5 for the main celebration of Cyril and Methodius, which continues on July 6 with the liturgical memory of St. John Hus, also a national holiday of the Republic. The solemn service mentions the Holy Brothers, their disciples and ideological followers several times. A great event reviving the Cyril and Methodius theme in a new geopolitical situation in the 90s of the last century is related to the proclamation of Prince Rostislav of Moravia as a saint with the date of remembrance October 28. The Episcopal Council decided on this in December 1992, and the celebrations took place in October 1994. The liturgical texts dedicated to him in many places speak of the Holy Brothers. Since 2015, the cult of St. Lyudmila, giving it the features of a nationwide cult. The events obscured the liturgical cult practised for centuries in the Orthodox Church, but it is also trying to join this program.

Abstract:
Innovation policy strives to support the creation and dissemination of innovation. For this purpose, it mainly uses tools that stimulate innovation supply, but in recent years, it has also increasingly implemented demand-oriented tools such as public procurement, support for private demand and regulation. The innovation policy defined in this way pursues not only economic goals but also the fulfillment of various societal challenges. Therefore, it is often associated with the promotion of environmental innovations that lead to green growth and climate change mitigation. In this context, electromobility is significantly promoted in European countries. The aim of the paper is to demonstrate the possibilities of linking cohesion policy and demand-side innovation policy, and to analyse the practical implementation of such a policy in the Czech regions. The analysis incorporates 519 projects supported through the Low Carbon Technologies programme within the OP EIC 2014-2020. More than 50% of projects were implemented in the three most populated regions, namely the South Moravian, Central Bohemian and Moravia-Silesian regions. These regions also accounted for more than half of the EU subsidy. The most frequent beneficiaries by legal form were micro and small enterprises. A significant group also consists of self-employed persons, which represented 21.8 % of beneficiaries.

Abstract:
The summary research report describes and summarizes the goals, course and results of the TAČR–VISNEP project. The aim of the experimental development project was to create an information system (IS) for informal carers (ICs) for a person after stroke using modern information technologies in the technical and non-technical spheres of research. IS will allow users to obtain relevant, timely and interconnected information on support networks to prevent their possible social isolation and exclusion, physical and psychological exhaustion, health disorders and other risk factors in their difficult life situation. The purpose of IS is to contribute to improved awareness of ICs support systems across other long-term care providers, in particular public administration, general practitioners etc. The intent of the project was to create and verify a pilot model of IS in Moravian-Silesian Region, which can subsequently be applied in other regions and / or other target ICs groups. The presented results of the project are based on data obtained by research procedures of qualitative and quantitative methodology in the process of agile software development.
