Detection of crop stress is one of the major applications of remote sensing in agriculture. Many researchers have confirmed the ability of remote sensing techniques for detection of pest/disease on cotton. Hence, this research was designed to investigate, (1) to study the spectral properties of noninfested and mealybug infested cotton crop (ii) damage assessment using remote sensing derived index. Mealybug-infested cotton crop showed significantly lower reflectance in the near infrared region and higher in the visible region of the spectrum when compared with the non-infested cotton crop. Meal

Saccharomyces cerevisiae MPS1 encodes an essential protein kinase that has roles in spindle pole body (SPB) duplication and the spindle checkpoint. Previously characterized MPS1 mutants fail in both functions, leading to aberrant DNA segregation with lethal consequences. Here, we report the identification of a unique conditional allele, mps1–8, that is defective in SPB duplication but not the spindle checkpoint. The mutations in mps1-8 are in the noncatalytic region of MPS1, and analysis of the mutant protein indicates that Mps1-8p has wild-type kinase activity in vitro. A screen for dosage su

Heritability is autosomal recessive except for MPS type II, which is X-linked. Abstract Oxford was close to the world of Westminster, treated comprehensively in Chapter 8. Relations with government tended to be unstable until the reign of George III. This stemmed from the University’s insistence on corporate independency which, taken too far, imperilled its functioning by increasing the likelihood of direct ministerial intervention beyond ministers’ legitimate role in dispensing royal patronage within the University.
