To fulfil the housing and infrastructure requirements of increasing population, in last few decades Indian construction industry has grown in large amount. With the introduction of multinational companies in Indian construction sector, accuracy and speed of work has increased. Now-a-days to cope up with the demand is becoming crucial. Conventional construction methods are economical but they are unable to give required quality work and speed. Hence, in today’s date there is a need to think on latest construction technology. Abstract:
India's metropolitan population is now the world's second-largest, and its projected growth is causing more demand in housing. To deal with this problem, India must urgently prepare for the acquisition of land and the rapid construction of housing units. In recent years, there have been significant modifications in the construction process. Buildings were created with the aim of load-bearing in mind in ancient times, and the RCC framed approach was established later. The RC structural wall technology is widely used at the moment. Aluminium formwork, also known as Mivan technology, is a

Some precast, prestressed beams can reach heights of 2.4 m or more necessitating special considerations for lateral pressure to ensure formwork tightness. In order to investigate the initial form pressure of the precast, prestressed self-consolidating concrete (SCC), an experimental program was undertaken. Sixteen non air-entrained and four air-entrained SCC mixtures with a slump flow of 680 ± 20 mm were evaluated. These mixtures were made with 440 to 500 kg/m3 of binder, Type MS cement or HE cement and 20% Class F fly ash, 0.34 to 0.40 water-cementitious material ratio (w/cm), viscosity modif

Abstract:
Abstract Floating wind energy is a very promising source of energy, with governments across the globe embarking on ambitious plans to tap into wind energy offshore over the coming decades. There are clear advantages of offshore wind over onshore, such as higher sustained wind speeds and more locations for new developments, including deep water (i.e., water depths exceeding 200 ft). We performed a concept development study and preliminary analysis to test the feasibility of a proposed floating offshore wind spar concept using an innovative steel-concrete-steel ‘"sandwich" composite system, with
