Kajian bahasa Sasak untuk kepentingan pembukuan terkait pelajaran bahasa daerah (mulok) belum ditemukan secara spesifik. Kajian tersebut belum mengarah kepada penyiapan bahan baku yang dapat diterjemahkan ke dalam buku mulok. Hasil kajian lebih condong ke arah ilmu mikrolinguistik bukan praktis pengajaran.
